Hetalia GermanyxReader - Eine Gute Nacht
Tonight's going to be a great night, I thought as I finished getting dressed. I had invited Ludwig, Gilbert, and Roderich to go out. We would eat at a nice restaurant, go a little sight-seeing, and hopefully spend some time shopping. Of course, since they were all men, I wasn't getting my hopes up for the latter.
I heard my doorbell ring and made my way to the door, opening it all the way. There stood the three, nicely dressed. Even Gilbert cleaned up significantly for the occasion.
"Hallo, _____," said Ludwig. "Are you ready to go?"
I nodded, grabbing my purse. "Yeah. Let's go."
Except for Gilbert's rambling about how awesome he was, the ride to the restaurant was quiet. I, for one, couldn't stand it, so I decided to break the awkward silence.
"So," I stammered, not entirely sure what to say. "How's Elizabeta been, Roderich? She didn't come visit, did she?"
"No, she didn't," Roderich replied plainly. "She had work to do back in Hungary. But she's fine, thank you for asking."

There was so much of it. It was leaking everywhere. How could I have let this happen? I should have protected him. I could've prevented this. It was my fault.
"I'm sorry. . ."
Gilbert, Ludwig, and I were walking down the sidewalk, talking and discussing where to go. It was just like any other timeuntil a man in a long, black coat demanded money from Ludwig.
"Gimme your money."
"What?" said Ludwig repulsively. "Nein. No."
Frustrated, the man pulled out something from his coat. A pistol. Ludwig pushed me behind him. The man pointed the gun at Ludwig's chest. "You were saying?"
Ludwig hesitantly began to take out his wallet, careful not to reveal his Luger. He tossed the wallet onto the sidewalk near the man, who picked it up and looked through it. The anger in his eyes flared up when he realized that there was very little cashand that it was all Deutschmarks. He threw the wallet back onto the ground and pointed the gun at Ludwig again. "Good idea!" Gilbert climbed onto a tabletop. "Everybody! I've got a cure for all of your boredom! We'll play Hide-and-Seek!"

_____ sighed as she pulled into the student parking lot. It wasn't because she would suffer from a boring day at school. No, she would be suffering from the lovely hell that is band camp. She played the clarinet in her high school marching band, which meant that band camp was mandatory.
'At least this is my last year of it,' she thought, climbing out her car. This was her senior year, which, in marching band, came with two perks (excluding the obvious seniority): being section leader and only having one more year of band camp.

As if things couldn't get any worse, the moment you'd been dreading approached and crashed over you like a wave just as you heard a strange laugh that sounded like "Kesesesese." A grunt of pain interrupted the laughter and you heard that same voice complaining to someone he called "West."
"Sie brauchen Hilfe?" a gruff German voice asked from behind you. Or, at least, you assumed he had asked by his tone, you were pretty awful in German despite your current location.
Craning your head back, you caught sight of a tall German man with slicked back blonde hair and icy blue eyes. Far behind him was a

Oh joy. A big English project. With partners. You could hardly contain your excitement.
You, being an A-student, always got partnered up with the "trouble students". And they always made you do all the work. Or, they tried and you ended up re-doing everything because what they did was complete crap.
But today there was a twist that could be in your favor. You were being partnered up by reading comprehension. You sighed, pleased that the odds of getting a decent partner were high. And you got more than a decent partner.
You got super smart, super hot, Ludwig Beilschmidt. Yeah. Lucky you. After the teacher called your names the two of you walked over to the empty table you were supposed to sit at together. Today you wouldn't get much time to work on the project, a short skit based on a book, so you were told to exchange contact information and get together over the days leading up to the due date.

A vein throbbed on his forehead as he analysed everything you did. You were laughing for one, the albino’s arm slung casually over your shoulders. Ludwig clasped his fist so hard that he felt his fingernails being marked on his palm.
“C’mon tell!” You said cheerfully, ruffling his hair. “No touchey!” Gilbert joked back, drawing back from you so his hairdo was a safe distance away from your grabbing hands. “Oh hey West.” You blushed and disentangled yourself from the Prussian, making him whine.
Your crush stood in the doorway, gripping the doorknob tensely. “Do that sort of thing in your own room.” He sneered at his brother, striding past the two of you into the kitchen. H

Sighing in despair, you whimpered as you narrowly avoided slicing off one of your own fingers. Your hands were sticking and slippery due to the spilled potato juice and you were feeling frustrated. You’d only just started working at this restaurant and you wanted to leave a good impression, but so far, no good.
“Right, we’re closing up.” The boss clapped his hands, telling everyone to leave. He noticed you depressedly cutting the potatoes and came over to your counter. “Not ready yet? Hey, you need to peel these properly!” He picked up one of the peels and held it accusingly in front of your tired (e/c) eyes.

Everyone must’ve left... you cursed as you wondered if the room had been locked up yet. A cheer of success left your mouth as you pressed the door handle down and it went down all the way, not catching on the lock. With a grin from ear to ear you sidled into the room, quickly finding your seat; your bag sitting underneath it with a nonchalant air about it.
“Bad bag! You were supposed to follow me!” You chastised the bag, chuckling at your own silliness until you froze when you heard someone clearing their throat. Spinning around, you clasped your bag to your chest as you stared at your unknown assailant with wide eyes and a red face.

“I was born ready.” You told your albino friend with a smirk which he mirrored deviously. “So be it zhen!” With that comment the match started and you both begun to pummel each other’s character.
The button mashing that commenced would have made even Alfred stare at in admiration and shock. Unfortunately though at the last moment Gilbert’s man kicked at ‘your’ legs, making you fall to the ground and as such you lost.
“The usual stakes?” You muttered with a grimace. Snickering like a happy dog, he grinned and nodded. “Great...”
The stakes you always played with were these: if you lost, you had to take an item of clothing off. Kind of like strip poker, but then without the card game and a videogame in its place. So without further ado, you unzipped your hoodie and dropped it to the side.
Goosebumps spread across your skin like wildfire on the forest floor. The room the two of you were sitting

You had an important presentation that day and you couldn't miss it. You felt terrible though. Ludwig grimaced, knowing about your predicament. “Give me a shout if you need me.” He told you and after kissing your forehead he went to make breakfast for you both.
You swung your legs over the side of your bed, stumbling to your feet. You really didn’t feel good, but being the good employee you were you dressed yourself.
The moment you walked down the stairs however you quickly realised you were getting hot. Way too hot.
Ludwig watched as you managed to get into your chair before you fell and bit his lip. “I can always call them.”

The smile that was returned to you was so sincere and rare that it made your face heat up. That smile could be all he needed to use to cheer you up or tell you what words can struggle and fail to convey.
The bus swung around a square that was still done up with the festive lightning. A large ornate reindeer stood in the centre of it, all done up in pretty, twinkling lights that reflected beautifully against the darkening sky.
Though to him, its beauty was nothing compared to the childish pleasure that crossed your face, making a full-blown grin work its way up t

Besides, you're going over to a friend's house; hopefully, he won't be too mad. You've never done this before, but there's always time for a new experience.
You take your keys and head out, the pale moon engulfing the sky. The stars twinkle in their distance, and the streets are very quiet, save for your footsteps and the occasional meowing of a cat. The trek to his house isn't very far, and you take in a deep breath before you ring the doorbell to his place.
You wait patiently. About two or three minutes pass. No answer. You ring the bell again.
This time there is a reaction. You hear someone speaking German quickly, obviously frustrated that someone would have the nerve to come here past midnigh

The lights of the entrance flicker as you enter the apartment building. There is a man out in the hall, sitting in an old chair in front of his apartment. He nods a hello at you, but he doesn't offer to help you with all your bags of groceries. In his defense, he's about sixty or so, and his back is humped, and his hands tremble a lot. Besides, you might manage to get up the stairs to your third-floor apartment.
"Hallo, Mr. Pickering," a familiar voice says as someone enters the apartment building just as you start up the stairs.
Mr. Pickering gives him the usual greeting.
You hear a rush of feet before Ludwig Beilschmidt shows up behind you. "Miss __________, do you need help?"
"I yes, I'd be ever so grateful"
He takes all the bags from your hand and heads up the steps to the third floor with absolute ease. You try to keep up, wondering how in the world he can go walk so quickly with nearly fifty pounds of food and supplies for the week.

You sat on the floor, staring at the bottle in front of you. When Alfred had come up with the brilliant idea to play Seven Minutes in Heaven using Spin the Bottle, everyone seemed excited even if it was obvious the boys to girls ratio was…pretty uneven.
You had never played this game before, and you pawed your shirt nervously as you sat down between Kiku and Emil, watching the people around you. You guys were waiting for the two people in the closet—some Canadian kid and that Ukrainian chick with big boobs. Everyone was talking excitedly, and it seemed that only you and the five or so people near the tall, glowering Russian seemed to notice that the tall, glowering Russian wanted to possibly kill someone.
You took another drink. Alfred would be the one to have alcohol at his party, and while you usually didn’t dri

When you were a little girl, your grandmother would tell you the stories of the forest you grew up in. She spoke of evil monsters, things that would steal you way in a second for just breathing. And she'd warn you to stay away from the woods, to stay in town.
She passed away a couple of years ago after being attacked by a wolf. Her fragile heart didn't survive, and we buried her in the church graveyard.
You still visit her every Tuesday morning with a bundle of wildflowers and a few prayers.
But this Tuesday morning is special. At your front door is your best friend, the sweet blacksmith's son, Ludwig. Since you two were little children, he always has looked out for you as if you were his own little sister.
And after your precious grandmamma died, you two only grew closer. Soon, these little feelings twisted themselves into something more, and you two were no longer just best friends You were lovers.
And this morning, Ludwig came prepared with something: an engag

You are waiting for your childhood best friend, Matthew Williams. He is the half-brother of the most annoying guy in the world, Alfred F. Jones, and he lives in Canada with his father while Alfred lives here in the United States with their mother. Al's the older one.
But Matt's the sweeter one. He's so quiet and innocent and cute, and no one ever notices him but you, of course.
Every summer vacation, he comes down here for two weeks to spend time with his family (his mother and Al) and with you.
He's your best friend.
You play with the hem of your shirt, twisting it back and forth as you impatiently wait. You shift your eyes to Alfred who is standing in front of a McDonald's that is inside the airport, ordering food for the both of you. Their mother has to work, so she can'

You typed away on your lap top, attempting to finish this damn essay that was due on Monday. It was only Friday evening, but you didn't want this essay to spoil your weekend. Besides, it had been raining all day, and the weekend was expected to have clear skies, so you figured that a rainy day called for finishing this up.
"Sure," you answered the blond as you continued to type away, talking about Fredo's tone.
And then you froze.
Matthew Williams just asked you to play the pocky game.
You looked up from your screen, sitting up quickly. "What's the pocky game?"
Matthew's face suddenly decided to camouflage in with his red hoodie, and you managed to pull a confused look at his expression as you tried desperately not to blush.

This is why you're with Berwald; he asked you to be his girlfriend, and since you're never going to get Matthew to ever notice you, at least romantically, you told yourself to move on and date him.

Setting down your paintbrush on a table, you took the chance to take in your finished art work. On the canvas, a pair of bright, powder blue irises stared at you. It'd been snowing for a while, and since the five inches you had trudged through earlier, you weren't sure how much snow had fallen on top of it. The cold you got from being outside for so long still had its aftereffects on you; your nose was a touch of red, your hair disheveled and your eyes still half-closed—after all, you were pretty lethargic, and as proof you yawned about every ten minutes or so.
