I have been having the most horrible day.

Exams, stress, an infection in my arm... Heh, I'm pretty sure this day can't get any worse.

.._{I'll just end up jinxing it..}

It's just one of those days . I gave up halfway through this because my arm was complaining so much. The end result makes me want to cry T__T

Same character, drawn at different times.

2008 version was a thirty minute 'sketch' colored with pencils.

2012 version is a 5 minute pencil sketch, without colors

This is proof that anyone can improve given time

Putting them together on one sheet was kind of weird.. but kind of ince too

It gives me hope that I can keep on improving

Ah well, this is just here to keep me inspired

the flash messed things up..
this was the last project of my painting class winter term.
it was a lot of fun.. the teacher projected various images up on a screen, (more than one at a time to give us more choices) and we had to paint them into our collage.
after that we could bring in our own images and paint them in..
The ghostly horse was inspired by a picture done by Andrew Jones, called "Unicorn Of the Apocalypse" out of my D'artiste Concept Art book.

I joked with a fellow classmate that the silhouette of the woman in the corner looks like Rukia from Bleach, so I gave her a sword XD

I have continued to work on this painting. enjoy

a rough sketch of an idea I had for Stitches.
. it's aways a good idea to rough out some ideas and come back to them later.
..
.. the Stitches bust to the right was used as a base for my new Avatar and an ultra realistic version of Stitches (still in progress) I wanted to show that his collar wasn't just fixed to his neck and had a little space to slump down and move.

mostly practice to draw the collar in different positions as opposed to looking stiff all the time.

UPDATED.. I took the time to clean this baby up and fix a few things, enjoy

some people have asked me what Stitches looks like from behind. since I haven't really drawn any pictures of him with his back turned. well here's your chance to see the front, back, and side views of stitches.
this picture makes me want to draw a mug shot for him.

his collar is slightly tilted, which is why you can see his Spikes when the view is eye to eye. and not just a circle.
stitches likes to pose with is pelvis outward, with his tail in a smooth curling arc.
