My dreams are tainted with thoughts of you
I toss and turn, but never win
Cold sweat beading down my skin
And all I know
Is how much it hurts
All the way down to my core
The desperate plea
Etched In one last tear
I don't wanna be here
I don't wanna be here
I don't wanna be here anymore
I lay in bed; Is it night or day?
It doesn't matter either way
I sit and think, but never win
I feel you crawling beneath my skin
It's all I know
I'll ever love
The pain at home inside my core
The desperate plea
Has faded, I fear...
I don't wanna be here

You're a divine intervention.
In this life that's turned to hell.
I can't help it when I reminisce,
In moments that are just like this,
I remember when we had our kiss,
And now how much I really miss,
The times when we weren't separated,
Were the best memories that I've created,
To reunite is long awaited,
I feel like I'm incarcerated,
In my own personal hell.
I can't help it when I think of you...
I hope one day we'll say "I do."
But for now I have to struggle through,
Until the day I get to you...
It won't be long, love, I know we'll be fine...
So, darling, stay strong and keep your hand held in mine...
I'll never let you go and I'll always make amends...

I always hope that I'll wake up and this dream will become true,

Atop the crest of a gentle hill he stood, sword plunged deep into the earth. He couldn’t help but admire the slowly descending sun, which so precisely rose up each day with promise of warmth and light. It was a sure thing that one could depend on to be true and to happen consistently. For if the sun were to simply cease to rise, life would then simply cease to exist. He shut his eyes for a bit longer than a standard blink, thoughts encasing his mind in much the same way ordinary rock may conceal a diamond. He ripped up his blade and slung it across his back, making way to depart and set forth on yet another path on the perilous journey he knew lay ahead, beckoning him onward. His struggle for a place in this world left him with no time for long goodbyes. Behind him, the small lights of Underveil disappeared into the night. He walked diligently and silently, accompanied by only the fading light of the sun and the emptiness he carried with him. The sound of waves gently lapping the

A grittier, angrier version of Solus’ own voice echoed in the darkness. However, Solus was aware that he was asleep. He knew what he was hearing and seeing wasn’t real. He just couldn’t seem to wake up.
“This is just a dream,” He kept repeating to himself, ignoring the images that flashed around him. One depicted Solus at a young age, before the tragedy that killed his family. The next instant, an image of a young Solus on his knees appeared, tears streaming down his face as he looked on at the blaze that engulfed his home.
The disembodied voice suddenly grew angry and spat out the words as though they left a bad taste in its mouth, “Why weren’t you at home when the fire started, Solus?”
“This is just a dream,” He repeated to himself, more desperately and gritting his teeth. The voice had no particular source still, as far as he could tell. Solus looked around. The images had changed.

It doesn't make it better; nothing is achieved
All you'll earn are the scars you've got and
The lesson learned is the lesson forgotten
You feel like no one's there, no one cares what you do
Let me put it to you straight: That is never true
I was shunned, pushed away many times before
Then I realized it was I who had closed the door
I took a chance and opened up to the people around me
Told them of my secrets, now their love surrounds me

A/N: I don't normally depict Red Alert this paranoid, but it was done for the sake of humour; so apologies in advance.
Red Alert looked behind him and then turned back to watching the monitors on Teletraan I in order to keep a lookout on the outside world. Things had been particularly quiet so far, but Red Alert knew that that could change from one moment to the next. It was always the Decepticons way to attack when the Autobots least expected it, and today probably wouldnt be an exception either.
Suddenly, he saw something close to a rock in monitor 7 and quickly pressed the button to zoom in. It looked like Rumble was back to his spying duties again, and he was probably trying to locate the cameras. And then, of course, he would report back to Megatron, who would then figure out the best route they could take to reach the Autobot base und

There was no moonlight that particular night, and the stars did little to light the fields that were located a few miles outside the town of Marysville, Ohio. Everything was quiet and peaceful; the only things that were on the move were the nocturnal creatures that had come out in search of a meal.
All night-life took cover, however, when an escalating roar filled the air. The dark atmosphere lit up, and a giant ball of fire crashed on the ground, burying itself in the crater that got formed at the impact.

Red Alert didnt even twitch. Infernos frown grew deeper as he cautiously made his way up to Red Alert, and tapped him on the shoulder. Red Alert screeched in surprise, nearly scrambling onto the tabletop from Infernos light touch. Inferno took a few steps backwards himself, optics wide. R-Red?

Red Alert could hear the confused babble of voices behind him as he made his way back to the party. True, they might be searching for him there, but instincts honed from dodging irate commanders about false alarms told him that they wouldnt look where they had already searched.
Arcwelder was just beginning to panic about his missing charge when Red Alert appeared on the edges of the crowd, casually making his way through. Arcwelder stormed over to where Red Alert was, scolding. Red Alert, I was worried that you had gone and vanished!

The optics disappeared, and re-appeared a few feet closer. Aquablast backed away some more, and a quiet noise made her freeze. She remembered that sound often during her practices with her teacher.

Lost beneath a silvered glass,
Watch and wait as hours pass.
You find yourself, now surreal,
Surrounded by clocks with a ticking squeal.
You walk to the kitchen, a hand you find,
A platter in which to place your mind.
The microwave dings, the toaster rings,
From the oven you pull, intestinal strings.
You stab with the knife, it ends in your head,
Place your mind into a toasted bread...
You walk to the car, you breathe in deep,
You look into your pocket; the bottle you keep.
You take a long swig, it's a magical drive,
Your soul falls asleep while you await to arrive.
Silence, broken silence,
Emptiness filled with eyes and ears,
Rainbows haunt and tear the skies,
Falling rain like bitter tears...
Broken and unspoken,
Suddenly you are bowed!
Your throat explodes with shards of glass,
It ends the life to which you vowed...
Each gurgle of blood that is caught on your lips,
The sputum you cough is fleck

I've been to the doctor's room

I never knew that things would be this way...
The first memory I have, is when you used to hold my hand
You taught me how to be a man but I threw it in your face
Still you forgave me and still you believed
But I took your faith and broke it up, like golden autumn leaves...
why ain't I the one with the disease...
Mother can you hear me?
I wanted to let you know
That I'm stayin' here for good-
And I will never let you go!

Secrets Should be SilentSecrets Should be Silent:Secrets Should be Silent in Free Verse More Like This
What is in the nature of a secret?
It is not to be known, nor to be seen.
It is that which we bury beneath layers of deceit.
Why then, do we bury poetry?
why then, do we bury prose?
Why secret that which is meant to be seen,
And showcase that which is meant to be secret?
Are the words of our soul less important,
Than mere phrases designed to seek attention?
Are the words that we carve from experience,
Taken as less than a general phrase of emotion?
...No, I would hope not.
For I do as any other might,
And my skeletons are kept under lock and key.
For a secret displayed remains secret no longer;
Merely a gossip's fancy.

Seeing those born with skill and talent.
They paint such beautiful things, using the barest of material.
Entire worlds are spun at their fingertips, all from a dot of paint.
I think sometimes, of how nice it must be,
To be able to capture such beauty, within the borders of a page.
To spin a tale from but the smallest of phrases,
To create a fantastic adventure from a mundane experience.
It is painful indeed at times. When I am seated in this room,
Surrounded by the dull hum of failure and regret,
I ask myself, with eyes burning in the mirror,
Am I finally ready to give it all up?
'No!' I say
I will not let it end this way!
Not without a fight, not until I know that I am utterly broken.
The good lord may have blessed you with talent my friend,
He has given you everything that I could have ever desired...
But there is one thing that I have earned;
One little gift that remains my own.
You would not know of it,
Since you have never felt it,

How long will it burn me,
In darkness cloaked.
Raped by a voice,
Of death it spoke.
The ceiling revolves with words of sorrow,
Draped on the walls, they are creatures hollow.
Screaming and crying, the death we seek,
The eyes that stare, when I fall asleep.
Voiceless whispers and empty sound,
The pattern of drool, that stains the ground.
Endlessly scratching at walls and eyes,
I stare at reflections that breathe to die.
The darkened shadows that seem to stain,
The constant sound of a pouring rain.
Wherever I go, the eyes that lead,
Within me planting a dirty seed.
Again and again I am twisted by sound,
I wake in a room that seems to surround.
I see myself, but I know it's not me,
What is man, in the mirror I see...

There is no thought of altruism; no sense of assistance for another. He could walk down an alleyway filled with the homeless and nothing would change...
If that is the case, then what is the path of truth? Is it doing
