Heres a new quick piece. Took me around 3h ( probably less ). I could still refine some things on it and add more detail and fix a few mistakes. But I'm pretty happy with it and I think it conveys what I wanted, so I'm moving on to another image
First of all..sorry for not submitting any artwork for so long. I've been busy with work work work and so I have almost no time for personal stuff. However, I did gather some strength these last 2 days and decided to paint and record a new piece! It's a different style then usual, and also something lighter and not so gloomy as it is usual in my artwork.
Anyway I really hope you enjoy it, and don't forget to check out the video process in HD !
Hi ! Here's a quick painting I just finished! Took me 2h23min51secs ( I recorded it so I know the exact time for this one hehe ). Wanted it to have a very specific mood that's why there is quite a good amount of "color-balancing" in the video
A commissioned painting I did last month for author Courtney Schafer. The scene underwent several changes in lighting mood, and it was not easy to mix together the white city walls, the mountains in snow and the barren landscape as these were all light in value. I hope you like it.
The town of Aldackelm is one of the three towns of the ancient Letuetlivn civilization that survived the vicious invasion of the evil Surgtomotrouz. Aldackelm is built on the bodies of the immortal gigantic mountain- trees where the people live peacefully and progressively. The towns are kept invisible from the eyes of the enemies and the gods of nature protect them at all times.

Back to landscapes for a while
So, I wanted to paint a castle lost in time and space. Some kind of oriental and occidental mixture in architecture. The first sunlights are touching the temple walls as the village awakes. As a village, there is a central temple and the slums with poor families placed all around it. On the left I tried to paint some sort of market.
As usual, around 6000x9000px to be printed at 60x90cm. About 55hours to achieve all detail when printed at that size.
Everything painted in Photoshop. Textures used from www.cgtextures.com, especially the ones from Jonas de Ro, and www.sxc.hu.
