FINALLY!!!!!! AFTER 8 HOURS OF DRAWING AND ERASING, and eating a hamburger with a soda.... ITS DONE!!!!! the sketch of one of my favourite characters is finally finished!!!!!! I LOVE IT.... One of my best!!
Well, here it is: roughly 25 hours spread over the last few weeks in the making. This is my big piece that I'm going to be trying to get autographs on at BronyCon this coming up weekend.
There's a few things I"m not quite happy with, but overall I'm quite satisfied. This is the most characters I've ever drawn and detailed so closely on a single page. About halfway through I was lamenting not putting in a background (even though practically speaking, it's better to leave the white space for the autographs), but looking at the composition in its final state, I think it would just be distracting.
This is my second submission for the Artist Training Grounds' week 55 theme: draw a pony ready for action. And Twi is all excited and ready for whatever whatever winter (wrap up) escapades may await her.
Not one of my best scans, especially since my scanner seems to want to do weird things with the paper now. I don't think I noticed before because I didn't use as much of the space (yay, vaguely present backgrounds), so I probably didn't notice things ending up in the shadowed area. Which makes me sad because I like the versatility of the 80 lb paper.
Anyway, enough technical worse. Out of all the outfits she's worn, this is still my favourite to both see and draw. I didn't actually have a pose in mind for her when I started drawing. Just that I wanted her to look giddy. So this was more or less spur of the moment. And a both a pain and fun to detail. I tried throwing in a minimalist background too, which mostly fits, although I am kind of wondering if I should have tried to do more with the sky.
This is my third submission for the Artist Training Grounds' week 48 theme: draw a triumphant pony. And here's another example of my playing the theme pretty much straight. This is based off of Dashie's victory pose from S1E2, although with the perspective changed up a bit.
Felt like I've been neglecting my graphite lately, so I went with that. I played around with the outlines a bit, trying to soften them up compared to my usual, except keeping as much definition as possible.
One day browsing through dA I found this amazing picture by of a pencil drawing of Angry Fluttershy based on a pic by . I thought it was really awesome so I decided to try to do the same but based on Crazy Pinkie. Here's the finished drawing ^_^ It took me about 3 hours using nothing but a mechanical pencil, my eraser, and a tissue to blur the dark areas
Hope you like it! <3~

I swear it looks better in real life =_____= The grass was green, and the stupid scanner changed it to yellow!!! Yellow!!!! The disadvantages of not having my own scanner Another of my (failed) attemps to recover a bit of practice at traditional art. Why fluttershy? I dunno, I like her, shes cute and reminds me of Private´s Lunacorn But I choosed her basically because I wanted to practice with colours that usually I don´t use I´m sorry for ruined her =_____________=
Edit Finally!! Managed to get a better scanned verison of this. Grass still looks yellow and I still don´t like the drawing at all, but at least it has more definition now
