in case of rebuild the big Sinanju Model from Paper-replika.com
the next part for this awesome model
The Beam-Rifle

like the Axe what i recently uploaded, it's also a redesign from the Playboy Sinanju version

the first two photos are showing the complete new scope
(just if you wonder why there are numbers missing ;) )
i build the scope that way because
well, i mean it's a rifle not a sub-machine gun :D
a rifle need a huge scope
period :D

you can also see this little scope attachment
the original plastic version has that too

i used some wires to combine the small pieces
actually the whole piece is a pipe

IMPORTANT!
to add the "shadow catchers" at the front and back
you have to try out what diameter you need
i calculated with different paperweights ;)

the third photo shows the whole model with the numbers,
just if there are still some questions about that ;)

the fourth is a few hours later with some finished parts

and finally the finished weapon :aww:

about the sheets:
because this time it's a recolored version
the sheets are coming as pdf
just click download at the top :)

the original design belongs still to playboy
redesigned and recolored by me

IMPORTANT:
THIS MODEL IS FREE AND SHOULD IT BE
SO LET IT BE!

since i made the desicion to rebuild the whole Sinanju model from paper-replika
i thought also about to build some weapons
the problem, even there are exist some in an other Sinanju version from playboy, there is no instruction how to combine all the pieces

well, actually it wasn't really hard, the hardest part was to build them, specially from the axe
but i think the result speaks on it's own, and i hope that these picture help that others can build this cool things too :)

the next step is to start resize, recolor and rebuild the pieces a bit, that the weapons fit for the big version, some are really ugly designed and very heavy :worry:

i printed the sheets on A4
they are white because the sheets are designed for colored paper
the axe is about 40 cm tall
the beam rifle about 30
the sheets are available here

the beam rifle comes on two pages in an extra pdf
you can find the axe at the pages 2,21 and 36
the pieces are declared as A_xx

have fun :)

you maybe allready know this part

i know it's "not the original beam axe what's hidden behind the shield"
i have to say
i don't give a shit :D
all the work put into this, from the resize, redesign and recolor was just worth
but it's not only an axe, with a little special it can be morphed to a spear from 50cm to 65cm

the other thing, the original design is just really cool and totally open

when you print the pages a few times, you can build two weapons or on one side two big blades and on the other two small and waht not, it's up to the builder :meow:

but anyway
now to the morphing system
through the resize i had a little problem
the original staff is one page tall and i had to think about what to do
so i decided to cut that piece into three different and build it
like an antenna

here you can see my building process
first i build the three pipes (these are the hardest parts by the way ;) )
and cut some long paper stripes
then i wrapped one stripe arround at one side first until it fit good into the bigger pipe
you have to test it out how much you need
cut a stripe with the same lenght but don't attach it to the other side

then do the same but at the inside of one of the bigger pipes

now the system should be clear
stick the thin pipe without the attached stripe into the big pipe from the other side until you reach quite the end

then through the second bigger pipe at the side with the attached stripe at the inside

push this also quite to the end
now add the stripe at the thin pipe
and done ;P
sound complicated i know but it's really easy :)

then add the two red pieces to the staff and the top part
i allready combined them but it's up to you :)

and step by step the final axe is done :)

about the sheets:
because this time it's a recolored version
the sheets are coming as pdf
just click download at the top :)

If you would like to have a gauntlet like this they are available on Etsy! www.etsy.com/listing/125835555…

I made this gauntlet as a personal project for the Steam and Cinders Winter Feast tech contest. The hand and wrist are articulated allowing me to retain my full range of motion. The purple sections are translucent and will have LEDs added to them in the near future causing them to glow an eerie dim purple.

Now that this gauntlet is done I am thinking it is time to start making more gauntlets with hand coverage and maybe start working towards articulated fingers.

The bracer is made from 8 oz veg tanned leather, sheet brass, brass rivets, brass studs, ecoflo dyes and finishing products.

Also! You should visit me on Facebook! www.facebook.com/SteamViking

I decided to take another stab at the vambrace design I made a few months ago [link]. I think overall these came out much better than the original pair.

This time around, I decided to attach a leather base to it, instead of using the buckles, and sealed the whole thing with a protective enamel so it wont rust.

These are being donated to the same larp that I donated the other pair to.

These bracers were made as a commission for my friend James, who just recently got into larping, and plays a ranger style character.

These bracers were made from 5-6 oz veg tanned leather, and dyed, treated and sealed using various wonderful things from the Tandy Leather Store outlet.

This is the FSMG-12 Raptor. Also known as the buzzard to the Zygotian military. This is a Symbiotian unit thats tasked with a combination of ground and air roles. Its integrated flying packs keep the GA flight capable while external and internal hard points keep the Raptor well equipped for any situation. It's main weapons consist of a variety of arm mounted armament; such as the retractable claw pictured above. The claws unique ability of being able to fold out and then be "thrown" makes this the best medium/and CQC weapon available for this GA. When thrown it has a pair of thrusters that are attached to the base of the blade propelling the blades forward, while the thruster's thrust-vectoring capabilities and fins keep it stable in flight. It's reeled in by a tow cable attached to the weapon and the arm-mounting platform. It's size and weight allow the Raptor to have a range of about 2000 miles and the top speeds tend to be around the sub sonic areas. But pilots have been known to modify and equip the Raptors with stronger thrusters and flight units so that they have a range closer to 2.5k miles and break the sound barrier. this is the primary unit of the Symbiotian Air Force.

Performance:
Land- 50 MPH
Air- 600 MPH (With a range of 2000 miles) (When modified: 900 MPH with a range of 2500 miles)
Marine- None (sinks)

The PGA-02 Undine is another experimental GA in use with the Zenith Squadron. It is another well rounded fighting unit such as the PGA-01 [link] but minus the load of experimental weaponry and a surplus of practical modifications. such as extended thruster bays on the flight pack and added internal missile bays. The Undine is usually fitted with a sniper modification to its universal GA battle rifle and a folding tactical fixed to its left arm. The Undine features a fixed AI system much like the one fitted on the PGA-01 for enhanced combat capabilities. However unlike the Azure, the undine's archetypical frame is the I/X-07 [link] giving this unit a more stealthy cross section than the Azure.

The SG-01 Road Runner aka the chicken, is the lightweight battle GA employed by the Symbiotian military. Its armless design wasconsidered a little unorthodox during the introduction but the speed made up for the loss of function. It's wing booms act as stabilizers and the tail has a integral gyroscope to keep it upright, even during extreme maneuvers. The booms can be switched out for different weapons including gun pods, mortars, rocket pods, blades, and thruster packs. The main cockpit is located within the main body protecting the pilot within, but the gunner's station happens to be exposed. creating a dilemma when the gunner is killed it leaves the pilot defenseless against the enemy's attack, although the unit's speed and petite size does well to defend the unit from larger and more powerful units. This unit is the most potent when it is used in packs, but is very well used by single gun squads as a heavy gunner unit.

Performance:
Land- 120~MPH
Air- 300~ MPH (faster depending on which thruster packs are equipped.
Marine- none (wading only)

If you still remember those old video storage devices, you can work out the size of my new papercraft Star Wars TIE-fighter! ;o)

Although I'm a big sci-fi fan, this is actually the first Star Wars papercraft model I made myself!

I drew all the parts by hand, and coloured it using aquarel, which makes it look really nice I think. ;o)

I also made an interior for the command pod, and although most of it really just stems from my imagination, I really like the way it turned out. ;o)

The wings can be removed for easy storage, but you can also permanently glue them to the pylons if you want to of course.

Parts and instructions to build your own papercraft TIE-fighter are available from the new Star Wars section on my papercraft webpage: [link]

Have fun building!

Space.
The final frontier.

These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise.

It's continuing mission: to explore strange new worlds;
To seek out new life and new civilizations.

To boldly go where no one has gone before!

It's the starship from captain Jean-Luc Picard from Star Trek: The Next Generation! ;o)

I made it a few years back already, parts and instructions to build it yourself are available from my papercraft webpage: [link]

Inspired by Super Mario RPG, Star Ocean: The Second Story, and many more of my fondest memories playing role-playing games as a kid. These are the kinds of characters I would design if I was making a mecha-themed fantasy RPG. My goals were to be funny, draw inventive designs with a lot of personality, and be a bit bolder and more unusual with color usage. Thanks goes to Paul Segal for suggesting the "Gems of Castelaria" name.

This new series of submissions has a few new characters added to the roster, as well as reworkings of previous designs. (Yes, I know there wouldn't be staples visible in ALL of these spreads, but I like the staples.)

Which ones are your favorite?
