FIRST...Luis just joined DA so he could comment below (lmoncada77), so everyone go "watch" him [link]
SECOND...BOTH views are LARGER than actual drawing (had to draw small, see below)
This is Luis Moncada. He and his brother Daniel played The Salamanca brothers, the Cartel Killer Hit men on Breaking Bad, Season 3 - episodes 1 through 6. I will be sending the original to Luis, and plan to draw several other characters from the show.
Season 5 will start July 15th and is said to have 8 episodes this summer, with 8 more episodes in the summer of 2013, which will either be considered Season 6 or the 2nd 1/2 of season 5. Either way, it will be the final season
This may have been my most challenging drawing, BECAUSE the largest reference photo I could find was not large enough to view fine details. Neither Luis himself or the Art Dept at Breaking Bad could find a larger file! If not for Luis working with me on this, letting me know the details were correct as I went along, I could not, and would not have attempted this, no matter how much I wanted to draw the photo. You guys know EXACTLY what I mean!?! I was basically imagining the details. One of the things I had to do, was draw this as SMALL as possible, so I could draw from a smaller than typical reference photo, because I could see more details when I printed the ref pic smaller

Breaking Bad. One of my favorite series of all time. I've been thinking about doing this portrait for a while. And I finally did it. I'm about to do the same kind of tribute for Gus Fring and Jesse Pinkman. It was a lot of fun drawing the 100bucks and Walter's wrinkles.
Here’s my poster for the Breaking Bad viral campaign with Breaking Gifs. Sorry for the major spoiler, but shame on you, you should have been finished with season 4 of Breaking Bad already!! That show is awesome. If I totally just ruined the past season’s finale for you, well then, sorry.
18”x24” 5 color screen printed poster with metallic inks. $50.
For those of you familiar with the show, the poster is of television’s most polarizing villain, Gus Fring. As you can see, I’m drawing a connection between the Pink Teddy Bear with his face half-blown-off that falls from the sky and into Walter’s pool. For the remainder of the series, the bear watches, judges, and taunts Walt. I felt like this was not only a parallel to Gus, but a foreshadowing of his fate. The background obviously represents the explosion that ultimately got the best of Gus, but is also a nod to the sheets of meth that get broken up in his lab. He is in a pose much like you would see on a body in a coffin, only Gus’ final bed is on the meth that ultimately led to his demise.
Walter White from Breaking Bad. It was supposed to be a study but I put some more time into it than any study so I guess now its just a fan art painting now lol. I hope you guys like it and let me know what ya think
