Dean Norris (Hank Schrader) from Breaking Bad holding my Drawing! He gave me a Twitter follow as a thank you! :D

The original is framed in his house, so he printed out a copy from the digital file. Looks like he printed it larger than is really is, but the details held?

Luis with Drawing

FIRST...Luis just joined DA so he could comment below (lmoncada77), so everyone go "watch" him [link]

SECOND...BOTH views are LARGER than actual drawing (had to draw small, see below)

This is Luis Moncada. He and his brother Daniel played The Salamanca brothers, the Cartel Killer Hit men on Breaking Bad, Season 3 - episodes 1 through 6. I will be sending the original to Luis, and plan to draw several other characters from the show.

Season 5 will start July 15th and is said to have 8 episodes this summer, with 8 more episodes in the summer of 2013, which will either be considered Season 6 or the 2nd 1/2 of season 5. Either way, it will be the final season :(

This may have been my most challenging drawing, BECAUSE the largest reference photo I could find was not large enough to view fine details. Neither Luis himself or the Art Dept at Breaking Bad could find a larger file! If not for Luis working with me on this, letting me know the details were correct as I went along, I could not, and would not have attempted this, no matter how much I wanted to draw the photo. You guys know EXACTLY what I mean!?! I was basically imagining the details. One of the things I had to do, was draw this as SMALL as possible, so I could draw from a smaller than typical reference photo, because I could see more details when I printed the ref pic smaller :D:D

Breaking Bad. One of my favorite series of all time. I've been thinking about doing this portrait for a while. And I finally did it. I'm about to do the same kind of tribute for Gus Fring and Jesse Pinkman.
It was a lot of fun drawing the 100bucks and Walter's wrinkles.

Hope you guys like it.

Done with pencils, and Fabber Castell black pens.

Im really happy with how this has turned out. I learned new techniques by watching Rick Fortsons Tutorials on You tube. Its turned out better than I ever thought I could do, and it was done in the space of 2 days. The quickest Ive ever finished a portrait before.
I used H,B,HB,B for all the shading. Blending stumps (which I only just discovered), kneedable eraser (Only just discovered that too) and a lighted magnifying glass to see detail. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did drawing it

My definitely last WIP. I am almost done but the things whom left are time consuming to draw like everything from this drawing.
You see here some detail shots from my favorite parts of the drawing. Well the entire drawing is my favorite part. For example: Lightnings head is approx 6 x 6 cm large. Not very big but hard to draw. The same with the sword and feathers.

In normal view (not fullview) you see it almost in original size. It´s just a bit smaller.

The final drawing will still take me while. Maybe next week I could be done but that´s not sure.

Hope you guys like these close up shots.

My recent work. I mentioned it before that I want to make a real portrait of her. Here you go! Something easier compared to my Star Destroyer.

Size is A2 Hahnemühle sketchaper with 190 gsm. All done in graphite. Worktime so far: 3 days.

I made a 20 min sketch of her before. Check out this [link] if you would like to take a look on it. There is also a link to a Youtube video ;).

This is an A3 size drawing. I do it with the regular tools and black copic pen. This tool was really nice for the dark parts.
This was a commission, drew the face from a very little reference photo.

I hope I'll soon be able to draw more stuff about her.
This was, by the way, an excuse to try my new Photoshop out. :D
