This is an image taken during my last photography workshop in Iceland, june 2012. Here is a block of ice from the Vatnajökull icefield, deposed on the black sand beach of Jökulsarlon by the North Atlantic Ocean. It was about 1am, during the infinite night glow of summer.

An image from a recent trip in the local woods. Autumn is approaching and we had a night of rain, followed by a heavy fog in the morning.. I love the atmosphere it gives, quite perfect to capture this old ruin in a mossy forest.
Shot recently in the local woods under a soft rain. The various autumn colors combined with fog created a very enchanting atmosphere, I enjoyed staying around this old beech tree and his wonderful colors. The forgotten pathway fading in the fog added a nice touch of mystery to the scene.
The 400 years old beech trees called "l'Allée des Géants", caught in a thick fog after a rainy night. It was at early morning with an overcast sky, the light was weak and diffused by the fog. Such a fantastic mood here, I was so pleased.
You can purchase high quality prints of this photo in my website Wildscapes
This is a very old beech forest at the edge of a volcano's crater. The mist among these ancestral trees creates an amazing spooky atmosphere like if the forest would draw you inside and never let you go. "le Puy des goules" in the volcano park, France.
