After quite a gap I've decided to try re-launching my long running emote news article series. I've had a couple of people mention how much they enjoyed it and now I've got a bit of extra time I feel I can give it another go. It's coming back in near the same format and with a slight change to the name 'So I heard you like emotes??' instead of the old 'So i herd u liek emotes??' as I wanted to drop the chatspeak element. I hope to post it every 1-2 weeks depending on how busy the community is at the time - So if you want more frequent articles keep posting more art .
If you enjoy the series please do let me know, and if you have any suggestions or news you'd like advertised give me a note
As a fan of The Avengers I thought both of these Avengermotes sets by EmotiKai were rather clever and well designed. Each of the characters is easily recognisable and nicely pixell
So I herd u liek features?? - Vol 3Well this journal is now a week late but life got in the way. Anyways, enjoySo I herd u liek features?? - Vol 3 in Art Features More Like This
The level of detail packed into Watch Workshop by otohime0394 never fails to amaze me. The watch has been wonderfully made and the small animations of each character bring the whole piece to life
I was lucky enough to see all the WIPs of Life by MerelyCubed and with each additional scene I was blown more and more away. For a relatively new emoticonist MerelyCubed has extremely detailed and fluent animations full of great features and effects which combine together into one amazing piece. Be sure to watch it the full way through.
Time by Ricsmond is another brilliant piece which caught my eye. The expressions and motions displayed by each of the emotes creates a very amusing piece which flows well all the way through. Definitely another to sit and take a look at.
