Hi, people =D

Here is the newest version of Bayonetta I did: the Umbra costume.

I loved this version for one simple reason: with the Original ver. I can't move very well because of the chains yhe legs, but in this Umbra version, I have all the moves hehehehe :XD:

Also, I like the golden details in the black fabric.
You can see in the fisrt photo the Bayonett's older gun...

I'll be uploading more pics from this version (with details and props) soon =D

Here is the reference picture for this version: » [link] «

Help support me by checking out my store! I have hand made accessories and cosplay prints!KCB Cosplay Store

It's finally done ;3;

This costume was a huge success for me. It was an 80-100 hour costume that was all hand made by myself, including all four guns! The suit is made from 3 different spandex vinyls: 4-way shiny black, 4-way black pleather and 2-way gunmetal pleather.
The six moons (four large, two small) were crafted out of foam and painted with acrylics.
I also made each of the charms for the guns out of sculpey clay.
The wig was made with one medium base wig and a craft foam base for the beehive, which was covered in loose hair, ribbon and chain.
I have many more in progress photos on my facebook page but I'm still working on getting finished costume shots!

***********************************************************************************************
This costume was a huge undertaking for me and I was very happy with the results. I designed the pattern for the suit and use a combination of 3 differing spandex vinyls: 4 way shiny black, 4 way black pleather, and a 2 way in grey gunmetal. There is roughly 14 yards of chain on the entire costume.
Each of the 6 hanging moons (2 small, 4 large) were made out of craft foam which was sealed and covered in several layers of acrylic paint.

The guns were my first attempt at a serious weapon prop (Yoko's gun was mostly made of cardboard and duct tape so I don't count that lol) I used a thick foam for the base handle and foam board for all the large details, the barrels are PVC piping (from my Yoko gun!). Joint compound was used to fill in any holes or uneven surfaces and then they were sprayed red. I made all of the smaller details using epoxy clay and hand painted everything either gold or black as needed.

The shoes were also designed by me. I bought a pair of basic pumps and cut off the sides. Then I covered what remained in the shiny black vinyl and made the straps and ankle bands.

My wig was made using a medium base and by constructing a foam core for the beehive, which was covered in loose hair, chain, ribbon (with all hand painted symbols), and sew/glued on to the base.

Please feel free to ask questions of the construction if I left anything out!
