Chapter 3: Just Like Honey
In the now vacant cottage, Spike looked at Fluttershy. The yellow pegasus already had one tear roll down her cheek. Her body was still trembling from Spike's shouting. It seemed as if she had something to say, but she was so shaken from the incident that even if she had the words, she would more than likely have more tears fall.
The dragon looked away from the mare, immediately regretting his action. With his scales on end, he spoke, "I-I .I'm sorry, F-Fluttershy ." Spike couldn't bear to look at Fluttershy, even for a moment, "I-I .didn't mean to yell at you ."
The yellow mare took a few deep breaths to calm herself down. After wiping a few tears from here eyes, she finally spoke, "It's okay, Spike."
Spike, still with his head turned, shook his head, "No .it's not .I had no right to burst out like that ." With a few blinks of his eyes, he alright had a couple tears i

Chapter 2: Barricade
The next day, Celestia's sun rose over Equestria. Spike, against his wishes, was slowly walking his way over to Fluttershy's home on the outskirts of town. Both Twilight and Fluttershy insisted that Spike take a day off from his extensive work in the library. The dragon, on the other hoof, wanted to continue with his work, but he saw no real point in trying to argue.
Arriving at the pegasus's cottage, Spike took a deep sigh before he knocked on the door.
The door was opened by a yellow mare with a long, flowing pink mane, "Oh, good morning, Spike." Fluttershy's voice was inviting and warm.
"Hey, Fluttershy. I came by as I promised you and Twilight," Spike's response was slightly bitter. He really wasn't in the mood to 'take a break', as they would put it.
"Please come on in. I have a number of things ready to help you unwind and loosen up," the pegasus stepped aside to allow the small dragon inside.

Chapter 1: Borrowed Time
A lazy Sunday afternoon was settling over Ponyville. Most of the residents of the town were either relaxing at their home or spending time with their friends. One creature, however, was busy as could be in the Ponyville library. The small purple dragon seemed to be pulling more than his fair share of weight, cleaning and organizing all of the shelves in the library. Not even the voice of a purple unicorn could stop him.
"Honestly Spike, you can call it a day. You've been working a lot for the past week as it is," Twilight Sparkle pleaded with her assistant.
"No can do, Twilight. I still got to reorganize the magic section after your last late night study session. Then I still have to clean the shelves in the fiction section after Rainbow Dash stopped by," Spike stood on top of a stool, shelving book after book into their proper locations. He seemed to be very content with his job of returning each book t

Chapter 4: Stop Draggin' My Heart Around
Celestia's sun was just beginning the go down in the east after another day of work at Sweet Apple Acres. Applejack was slightly troubled with her work during the day. This due to her recent revelation. Almost 24 hours beforehoof, the orange mare came to the conclusion that she was fond of Spike the dragon. Despite her persistent mind thinking about the dragon, Applejack continued with her chores, including the barreling in the barn that she was doing when the purple dragon stopped by.
"Hey Applejack! I'm really sorry that I'm late! I had to help Twilight and I totally lost track of time!" Spike rushed through the open doors.
Applejack was a bit caught of guard by his sudden appearance, "Huh?! Oh, howdy there, Spike. No need to fret. Just figured ah'd get started before ya got here."
"Well, seems ya didn't need me all that much," Spike commented, noticing that the pony was close to f

Chapter 1: Rotten Apples
It was a warm and pleasant day at Sweet Apple Acres. On the farm, there was an orange mare working hard amongst the grove of trees. She seemed to not be performing at her peak. It was if something was bothering her, and yet she didn't seem to know what it was. With a sigh, she continued and got lost in her work.
Her attention was turned from her work when a friend of hers trotted by on the nearby path.
"Hello there, Applejack!" a cheerful voice called out.
"Oh, howdy, Twilight. An' same ta ya, Spike," Applejack replied, looking up to the purple unicorn and the purple dragon that was riding on her back, "what brings ya'll to this neck of the woods?"
Twilight answered, "I need to pick a few apples for later."
"Alright. Well, Big Mac should be up at the farm ta help ya out," the orange pony stated, trying to force a smile.
"Can I stay here with Applejack?" Spike asked.

Applejack continued to watch the clouds roll by in the sky. With a heavy sigh, the orange pony's stare into the blue sky was accompanied with thoughts about Spike. She couldn't help but think about him.
'Why am ah so caught up with Spike? He's just a little dragon. Granted, quite cute, but he's jus' a little guy, Applejack closed her eyes before continuing in her thoughts, It's jus' plain weird though. With Spike bein' so chummy and comfortable with me, it felt really nice.'
"Maybe ah'm jus' out of it right now," Applejack spoke aloud to herself, keeping her eyes closed.
"Well, of course you are, Applejack, your frown isn't upside down!" a cheery voice blurted out.
The startled orange mare opened her eyes quickly to see the upside down head of Pinkie Pie a few inches from her own. "Wah! Uh .Pinkie?"

Chapter 2: Blue Sky
After completing the applebucking, Applejack and Spike were lying down on the grass. The orange mare and purple dragon were close as they looked up to the partly cloudy sky. A gently breeze was slowly pushing the clouds across the blue atmosphere, causing the two to point out the shapes.
"Hey Applejack, that one looks like a top hat!" Spike pointed up to the sky.
"Yer right, it kinda does. That one there looks like some kinda animal, like a rodent or somethin'," Applejack pointed to a different cloud.
Spike had trouble seeing what the pony saw, "I guess it kinda does. Maybe if it's super fat or something like that!" he then laughed at his own comment.
Applejack couldn't help but smile, "There's a few there that look like a bunch of apples."
Spike laughed again, "Of course you'd notice that, Applejack!"

Chapter 5: You
Celestia's sun shined down upon Ponyville. It was a warm and pleasant day for all the ponies that were out and about. One blue pegasus, however, was a bit uneasy as she flew towards the library. Rainbow Dash, who convinced herself the night before to follow her friend's advice about being forward with her feelings, was in a panicky state. She couldn't help but feel nervous. Dash never had to tell anypony how she felt about them, and most of the time she didn't feel a need to. But now, she was given the task to tell Spike how she felt about him.
'Coming on, Rainbow Dash! You can do this. I mean, its just Spike, right? What's the worst that can happen? He's a little shrimp and it's no big deal if he finds it weird, right?' the pegasus repeatedly tried to calm herself, but to no avail. She didn't have enough time to as she arrived at the library's front door. Taking a deep breath, she knocked at the do

"Spike! Hurry up!" Twilight Sparkle's motherly tone echoed throughout the library, "You're date will be here any minute!"
"I'm hurrin'!" the purple dragon shouted back with a hint of anxiety in his voice, "You try putting clothing on with small wings, then we'll talk!" Spike was trying to put a black jacket on, but his newly grown wings made Spike look like he had a hunchback with the coat on.
"Never mind about the coat, Spike, it won't get cold tonight," the purple mare informed him as she walked up the stairs to see her assistant struggle with the article of clothing. She used her magic to pull the jacket away from Spike, "Besides, you haven't been able to wear that coat for a while and since you are in the middle of your growth-spurt, you are going to grow more."
"Ugh, more than just pesky wings?" Spike looked at himself in a nearby mirror, moving the wings on his back slowly.

Chapter 1: Can't Hardly Wait
It was a bright and sunny morning in Ponyville. Celestia's sun was warming up the town and the citizens that were already outside. One particular citizen was dashing his way across the town excitedly. It was Spike. The dragon was given the day off from Twilight Sparkle and he knew exactly how he wanted to spend it: helping Rarity at her shop. The small dragon was running as fast as his small legs could move to the Carousel Boutique. Upon reaching the porch, he rang the doorbell and waited patiently yet eagerly.
The door opened to reveal a small white unicorn with a pink and light purple mane. It wasn't Rarity, but her little sister, Sweetie Belle. "Oh, hello, Spike. You come by to help with the dress-making again?" Sweetie Belle welcomed the purple dragon warmly.
Spike nodded, "Yup, since Twilight gave me the day off, I figured I could be of some help."

Chapter 5: Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love
The Saturday sun rose into the sky to wake Ponyville and its inhabitants for a brand new day. In the library, Spike was helping Twilight organize the library as they did every weekend. While his hands were busy putting books back up on shelves, Spike's mind was elsewhere. He was thinking of a certain yellow filly that had fully fallen head over hooves for. Lost in his daydreaming, he didn't hear the knock at the door.
Annoyed, Twilight walked to the door to answer it, "Oh, it's okay Spike, I'll get the door. It wasn't like I wasn't busy moving tables and desks with my magic. Nope, not at all," the purple mare said with an extreme sarcastic tone. She opened the door to a white unicorn with a deep purple mane, styled into perfect curls. "Oh, hello Rarity. 'I'm sorry Twilight.' She said to herself.
"Hey Spike, how are you doing?" She said to the purple stallion sitting on her old bed.
"Oh, hi Twilight; I'm okay I guess, except for being stuck in here. Where's Rarity?" he asked. "Pinkie said you and her would come up together."

After eleven long months, the blessed event had arrived; Twilight Sparkle was in labor. A commanding voice rang out through the library. "Crusaders, attend me." Princess Luna commanded regally. The three fillies in question galloped into the royal couples bedroom and quickly came to attention. Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo felt very grown up since Princess Luna had them appointed as her official royal attendants for the summer while they weren't in school. The girls were slightly taller now and wore their Cutie Mark Crusader capes as bandanas. Around each of their necks was a silver necklace with a purple stone emblazoned with Luna's crescent moon, a badge of their royal appointment.

The door of the Peach Pit Tavern swung open, ringing the small bell that hung above the door. The tavern was not an overly large establishment. My Little Spike Ch.1It's a fairly normal day in Ponyville, as most of its residence goes through the day as any other. Applejack is in the townsquare selling apples, Derpy Hooves was up in the air finishing her rounds for the day, Spike was out running an errand for Twilight, and Twilight herself was at the library reading a book about transformative spells. My Little Spike Ch.1 in General Fiction More Like This
Sure, she had successfully transformed an apple into a carriage and, though temporary, a rock, branch, and a few leaves into a rather high-class outfit and cane; but, her attempt at changing four mice for the night of the Gala showed she still had much to learn. The book she was reading was one that specialized just for that. It was a book from the library at Canterlot, a book that Princess Celestia was a little more hesitant than usual to lend out to Twilight for her studies.
The book covered simple transformation spells that would be considerably simple for any unicorn, especially Twilight, but it also contained more complex maneuvers ones she felt
My Little Spike Ch.3For the next couple of days Twilight continued her practice, making some progress here and there, but a permanent transformation only coming up every now and then, and even then she was only working with a random result. Spike had decided to not to pester Twilight whenever she needed a break from transformations, just to keep her content, and let her read other books for her own liking. Spike in the meanwhile had gone around to help their other friends, with mixed results. Helping Rarity, as much as he liked it, incidentally resulted in Rainbow finding a good reason to laugh for at least a few days. Rarity had convinced him, without any kind of difficulty, to modeling some of her newer designs, which only one was actually meant for young colts. Helping Fluttershy gave him some lessons about, and the trust, of some of the animals she keeps and cares for. Unfortunately, Angel wasn't one of them, which was mostly fine by him.My Little Spike Ch.3 in General Fiction More Like This

Fortunately for Spike, Scootaloo hasn't had much luck convincing the others for an attempt at completing their climb up the mountain and to the cave area; anypony who could and want to supervise them were too busy, Rainbow even had her work piling up for her to supervise. Aside from her usual job keeping the skies above Ponyville clear, it was near that time of the week again when she had to help move clouds into the skies for a scheduled downpour. Unfortunately, finding a proper scheduling was proving rather difficult. Any other time, Rainbow had actually been trying to avoid Scootaloo so s
My Little Spike Ch.5At noon, Twilight took some time away from her books to talk to Fluttershy. She had told Spike what she was planning to do today, which was to simply get some advice from Fluttershy, neglecting to mention what he did and said that morning. Spike was a little un-easy about it, but decided to just shrug it off. In the meantime, he was once again left at Sweet Apple Acres, this time with Applejack. The Cutie Mark Crusaders had met up earlier to walk to school today and talk. Applejack had a guess where they would be after school from what she managed to hear, but it won't be for a little while. In the meantime, he decided to try bucking some of the smaller trees and help with some of the harvest around the farm.My Little Spike Ch.5 in General Fiction More Like This

At the moment, it's evening and Scootaloo had decided to climb up a tree and take a break. It was a modestly good sized tree that was growing near one of the lakes around Ponyville. After spending a day working on Twilight's request of them to teach Spike how to function as an earth pony, she wanted a break, but of course that was far from the truth.
"Scootaloo! What in ponyville are ya tryin' ta teach Spike?" Applebloom shouted up towards her friend
"Well...uh...swimming. I'm sure he doesn't know how to swim like one yet. Afterall, it's gotta be important." she replied
"She's just trying to have fun now, isn't she?" Spike asked a little dully at Applebloom

It's been roughly 10 years since the whole transformation spell incident that trapped Spike in an earth pony body for about a week, though he does look back on those days with a sense of happiness. In fact, multiple times he's actually had Twilight change him into a pony for several reasons including taking a new perspective during holidays, trying some of the magic that he's seen Twilight perform, and give the Apple family a piece of mind when he's around Applebloom. They always seemed a bit more relaxed when he did, and it's only recently Applejack and Big Macintosh had begun to relax a bit more.
Now 10 years older since,
My Little Spike Ch.2Twilight was racing through Ponyville, running around sharp corners and weaving past every other pony as they start the day. On her back, sat Spike, who was temporarily back to his dragon appearance and holding on to dear life.
After Twilight deemed that spell had actually past the certain point that Spike would've changed back to normal, she tried changing Spike back to normal herself, with only temporary results. She ended up draining a good portion of her energy just trying. She tried requesting help from Princess Celestia, but Spike couldn't do his fire breath so he couldn't send it and Owlicious was only for the night.
Now running through the town, Twilight was hoping if anything she'd get to Sweet Apple Acres before the spell on Spike wore off. Just as she was turning the corner to the barn, she bumped right into Applejack, throwing Spike right off her back.
My Little Spike Ch.8The following morning, Spike once again found himself alone in the bedroom area. Jumping off Twilight's bed, he gave a yawn as he made his way for the stairs. Going down to the main room of the library, he was able to find Twilight, who was busy practicing her magic as always. His best guess would be on the counter-spell, given the presence of Luna's book on the ground and several assorted objects scattered in front of Twilight. My Little Spike Ch.8 in General Fiction More Like This
"Just once more." Twilight said out loud to herself before casting a spell onto a stone, turning it into a piece of cloth. She then cast another spell, quickly turning it back into a stone.

"Ah!" Twilight shouted as she jumped a little, then turned around to see Spike, "Oh, morning Spike. I hope you slept well." she stated with a smile on her face.
"Are you practicing that spell again?"
"Yes, I'm practicing 'that spell' again." she replied, "I would've used some apples, and
Apple FlashbackIt was just another day at Sweet Apple Acres, as the apple siblings were working hard to finish their chores for the day. Applejack was working to buck enough apples to sell later that day, plus some extras to fulfill a very special order, or preparation for something special to be more exact, since Princess Luna planned to pay the town a visit in a couple of days. Equestria is a fair continent, free of conflict, but there are many conflicts in its past leading to its founding, as well as the founding of many of its cities. One such conflict was between the various inhabitants: Humans, Winglies, and Unimare. The Humans were the only ones who knew how to cultivate the land, and were greedy with the food they grew. They were clever, and they had to be with the other two races overpowering them. The Winglies are strong athletic warriors that believed they were angels incarnate due to their wings and military might. They were said to be able to control weather, which they used to their advantage. But even their might was rivaled by the magical talents of the Unimare. They were believed to be able to control the time of day, which they also used to their advantage. But one day they all came together in a time of conflict and formed one home, one nation, which became the capital of Equestria: Canterlot. It is here

A long time ago, an ancient princess of the night was faced with an army of monsters, and had no way to defeat them all at once. Seeing the glistening, white snow gently falling outside, she devised a plan to create some outdoor winter fun for her subjects in Canterlot. As Princess Celestia looked out upon the palace, she noticed she had a prime piece of property to use for this plan. The royal pond was currently barren and closed off for the winter. Using her magic, Princess Celestia refilled the pond with water and then froze it, leaving a sparkling sheet of ice. Soon after, the Canterlot ponies began to visit the palace to skate on the royal pond.
One day in the heart of the winter season, a visiting pony from a land far away brought some curious equipment with him to the royal pond. He brought a bundle of large wooden sticks, two netting apparatus, and a single black rounded stone. The visitor then expla

Equestria Hockey League Part VII Royal Treatment
The following day after the Golden Leafs' exhilarating victory over the Fillydelphia Flyers, Ponyville buzzed with excitement and fervor despite the freezing temperatures. More and more Golden Leafs signs, merchandise, and other various trinkets were cropping up in each house and shop. Sugarcube Corner began selling Golden Leafs cupcakes, each pastry depicting the team's logo in delicious icing. Applejack, Apple Bloom, and Big Macintosh painted their apple selling cart to reflect the Golden Leafs' royal blue and gold colors. Rarity spent her days off stitching up Golden Leafs jerseys, hats, saddles, and even dresses, to sell at the Carousel Boutique. Golden Leafs fever was sweeping through Ponyville and Twilight and company couldn't have been more proud.
Enjoying her day off, Twilight lounged in front of the fireplace. She was reading a new book, calmly flipping through the pages. As she turned to the next

Equestria Hockey League Part XV Quarterfinals: Game 3
On the eve of the most important game of their young careers, Twilight Sparkle and the Ponyville Golden Leafs were putting the finishing touches on what could potentially be their last practice. The main objective was to pound the Rangers with physicality and to stifle them with tight defense. Toward the end of practice, Rarity began to feel a throbbing pain in her hooves. She skated off to the side boards and plopped herself down to take her front skates off. Concerned, Twilight rushed over to see what was wrong.
"What's wrong, Rarity? Are you hurt?"
"Oh Twilight, I shouldn't have done it. I thought I was going to be okay! I had no idea it would come back to haunt me so!"
Twilight was greatly confused. "Just what are you talking about?"
"Well I received an extremely important order for twenty hockey jersey dresses. I would have declined but the money was just too good to turn down. The dresses were v

The radiant sun rose on a new winter day. A rooster crowing in the distance awoke Twilight Sparkle from her slumber. This day marked the beginning of the Ponyville Golden Leafs' training camp. Twilight slowly got out of bed and prepared herself for the long, physical day ahead. Spike also gradually came to life and helped Twilight gather up all the items and equipment they needed for camp. With jerseys, sticks, pads, skates, and nets in tow, Twilight and Spike set out for Ponyville Pond.
Upon arriving at the pond, Twilight saw her friends arriving one by one. Rainbow Dash was half asleep, using a fluffy, white cloud to help move her towards the pond while Applejack followed behind stepping slower than a snail. Fluttershy daintily fluttered down the path while Rarity, with sleeping mask still on, used her magic to move herself along. To no one's surprise, Pinkie Pie hopped past all of them, skipping along as i

"Come onnnn! Where is it? I scheduled us to leave at four! It's already going on five!" shouted an exasperated Twilight Sparkle. In front of their mountain of hockey bags, the Ponyville Golden Leafs stood waiting for their carriage to Manehattan. Twilight nervously paced about while each of her friends followed her with their eyes.
"Don't pace yourself too hard, dear. You don't want to get tired before the game, do you? Come stand here and relax," said Rarity as she shooed away Applejack to make room.
Applejack shot Rarity a quick, stern look before moving over. "Rarity's right, Twi. We need to conserve all the energy we can if we wanna be sharp for tonight. Energy savin' is mighty important, ain't it big brother?"
"Eeyup. That's the truth alright."
Twilight stopped her pacing but instead directed her nervousness into rapidly tapping her hoof. "But if we're late for the game, they might ma

Giant buildings shadowing every inch of the ground. Crowded streets teeming with rushing carts and carriages. Delicious smells of various shops filling the daytime air. This was Manehattan, the site of the Ponyville Golden Leafs' first EHL game that evening. Twilight Sparkle and her team of rag-tag ponies all looked up, down, and around, admiring their urban surrounding with great wonder. Of the ponies, Rarity was the one most excited by the atmosphere, squealing and gushing over every high-class fashion boutique they passed. Pinkie Pie hopped with an extra spring in her step towards the many bakeries and eateries down the main street. Spike rode along as Twilight Sparkle's brain rushed with flowing questions and curiosity as she encountered things she had never seen before: traffic posts, street performers, and giant billboards. Rainbow Dash found herself feeling comfortable and at peace among

Equestria Hockey League Part 8.5 All-Star Adventure
It was day one of EHL All-Star Weekend. Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash were excited to leave Ponyville behind for a small vacation and to mingle with the greatest the EHL had to offer. Since all the festivities were being held in Canterlot this year, Twilight and Rainbow were transported by a royal chariot to the capitol city. When their chariot landed, they were met by EHL Commissioner Gary Bettpony and the rest of the EHL executives. The royal palace was adorned in multiple banners and decorations. Each EHL team had their logo emblazoned on a banner as well as a magical floating portrait of their all-star selections. Twilight and Rainbow squealed excitedly when they saw their massive photo shot floating above the Golden Leafs' banner. As the all-star Golden Leafs trotted on toward the palace, a trumpet fanfare from the royal guards blared out, announcing their arrival.
As they approached the royal

It was three months later.
The day was warm and sunny and Rarity lounged in her Boutique. She was bored; there looked to be no business today and she wondered if she shouldn't close up early. A slow day like this really made you miss the past: sometimes it seemed as though something strange or exciting happened every other day. Now things were so humdrum she was practically dozing. It wasn't as though she was complaining, goodness no, but over the last couple of weeks it just seemed as though something were missing. Some element that she couldn't put her hoof on, a certain je ne sais quoi. Maybe it was just the cozy sunlight making her mind drift.
News had come that Summersday had finally found himself a wife-to-be. Given the events of my visit, I can only hope he played it fair instead of pick-and-choose, she thought to herself. Over the quarter-year her hatred of him had diminished, but he still held a dark place in her mind; one that may never be clea

...and then we went to the Grand Galloping Gala. Yes, that Gala. The one nopony is likely to ever forget about. Dressed in our finest - compliments of myself, of course - we had all come with the highest of expectations. Applejack was there for purely mercenary reasons: she was hoping to sell her family goods to passers-by.
Personally, I felt it was a tad distasteful; this was the Gala, the high point of the year for all of Equestria even for those ponies who don't get in, not some sort of... county fair for hawking goods. She even had a stall for Celestia's sake. Admittedly, her family did need the money to keep Sweet Apple Acres running, so I kept my thoughts to myself.
Fluttershy - the demure little thing - came simply to see the creatures in Celestia's royal garden. She gets along so well with animals as a whole, and many in the garden are said to be completely unique to all of Equestria. Myself, I have trouble enough with Opalescence, an

..I'm going to have quite a bit of work on my hooves with this new book!" said Twilight Sparkle, as I ran to catch up with her.
"I'm trying my best, Twilight; I can't move as fast as you with theses dinky little legs and pulling this big book," I replied, pulling a red wagon behind me, the axles squeaking under the weight of the huge book within. Is it my fault dragons grow slowly? I grumbled to myself as I finally caught up with her. One of these days I'm gonna finally start growing up, hopefully leg first. I sure hope it's soon; I'm tired of not being able to keep up with the others.
Twilight smiled back at me. "I'm sorry, Spike, but I've been waiting ages for this..."
"...and you wanna get it back to the library so you can read and catalog it," I finished. "I know, I know. I dunno why you couldn't just have it delivered; the post office is pretty far away from the library and this thing isn't exactly light.."
"You know I would if I could, Spike, but the local mail-pega

A small patch of smoke shifted gently at Macintosh terrified shout. An end of the cloud rose, coalescing into a rounded shape. Two triangular wisps rose from the side of the shape and solidified into ears. The shape stretched forwards into a muzzle and diamond-like fangs appeared as the head completed itself. The rest of the cloud rose and lengthened, becoming the creature's body even as the remaining vapors flowed away, becoming four lean legs and a tail. Finally, a pair of amethyst eyes formed, completing the transformation.
The wolf-like creature let out a yawn and stretched. This was a cheocú, a creature of the fey, and in his panic Macintosh had awoken it. It sniffed the air tentatively. It smelled meat, unlike any creature it had hunted. But on top of that it smelled something else.
It smelled fear.
Regardless of where it had come, one thing was for certain - the new creature was afraid. The smell was unmistakable. The cheocú was

Just as the sun was beginning to set, Zecora arrived back at Sweet Apple Acres. Applejack was still working alongside her brother in the grove. As she had when Zecora had set out, she took a short break to welcome her back. Macintosh stopped what he was doing to lope over and join his sister.
“Done enough travellin’, Zecora?” she asked. “Didja enjoy yerself?”
“At first I enjoyed it, I have to admit, but I soon reached a point where I said ‘That is it’. At a point up the path, the ground turns to stone and though there were houses, I felt all alone. I then came upon three well-dressed ponies there: one friendly, one rude, the third seemed not to care. I frightened the friendly and angered the rude, the third one just watched - no change in attitude. I was clearly unwelcome so I chose to quit and return to your farm, that’s the whole truth of it.”
Applejack sighed sadly, “Yeah, that was Po

It was mid-morning when the zebra mare trotted into Ponyville.
Her appearance was striking, even compared to the citizens of the town with their brightly-colored coats and manes: the zebra's coat was a very light grey with black stripes on her legs, tail and mohawk-like mane. A large jagged pattern of black ran down her spine and halfway down her barrel, dark grey sun-like whorls were set upon her flanks and her muzzle was squared off as opposed to having the dainty rounding of most mares.
A series of golden rings encircled her neck from her collarbone to her jaw and another similar set were worn in the middle of her left foreleg. A large golden hoop hanging from each ear completed the exotic picture.
The zebra mare's name was Zecora. And she was becoming annoyed.
A small group of the daily crowd had stopped going about their routines - shopping, visiting friends and such - and were staring openly at her. She was still a source of c
