SparkWhen you gaze within these hollow eyes of mine..Spark in Urban & Spoken Word More Like This
Tell me what do you see?
Do you see things of love, things divine?
Can you tell me, do our souls entwine?
Are they empty, as a beach without a sea?
Are they full of passion, are they fiery?
Do they glisten like the stars?
Or are they dead, filled with scars?
When you gaze within these eyes of mine..
They eagerly stare right in thine.
Not hollow or dead as mine may be,
They’ll spark up and glisten from the deepest depths.
As they resonate.. within your head.
Tear me apartIf I’d disappear in the middle of the nightTear me apart in Urban & Spoken Word More Like This
Like a silent whisper caught into howling wind
Forever out of reach, forever out of sight.
Much like a tree in winter I slowly wither – but do not die.
I’d be the fleeting smoke from your blown out candlelight.
Would you still utter words as I’m floating away from all reality?
As I find myself here and now, contemplating this fake suicide.
Will you be the escape pod that shoots me into a celestial sky, away from all those chains that shackle me.
Away from myself, my former me.. It feels much like dying, this change that I’m trying.
Perhaps you could cut me free from all transparency, from delusional thoughts and fake reality.
Tear me from limb to limb until you can tear no more.
And as this pain increases and everything ceases to exist, I’m reborn and break free from this mist.

A black hole, a cavity, an utter cyst.
Enslaved and shackled a slave to the cause
To bring pen to paper and perform a ritual abhorred,
To transcribe verse and chord of melodious discord.
Where my true self lies, bound and broken on the floor.
Cursed I am, though perhaps not.
For I’m both the slaver as the captive sod.
Written harmony of bitter tears, instil in me, not this awful fear,
But strike me down oh sword of the just,
Let me sate - my wanderlust.

She traverses far beyond the gates of Hades

She’s far beyond my reach..

Not even the river Styx could keep her from me
As she disarmed me with a mere smile,

Cannot help but wonder if she would be a deity
As she transfixes her everlasting mark upon my lips

And succumb to the cruelty of the Styx.

First, I want to make it clear that I do think The Hunger Game(HG) is a well written story.
But I still think Battle Royale by Koushun Takami is better.
Once you had seen impressive things before, you simply won't be so easily thrilled by similar, tamer things.
In the fictional universe of The Hunger Games, America had long been ruled by a totalitarian government. Said government divided its subjects into two classes, citizens from the privileged Capital, where people enjoyed wealth and power. The 12 Districts, where most citizens were forced into hard labors and starvation. Since the 12 Districts, along with the destroyed 13th District had once allied together and tired to rebel against the Capital, once the rebellion was suppressed, the Capital brought up The Hunger Games as a punishment for the failed Districts. A game that forced every district

Angelology opened with Evangeline, a young nun from St. Rose Convent NYC, received a request from a man named Verlaine, who asked to review some mysterious letters which might serve the interest of Verlaine's employer, Percival Grigori. Little did Evangeline and Verlaine knew what was guarded within the Convent for years would be life-threatening to them both, a key to solve the mysteries of the race which had enslaved the human race in secret: Nephilim. As the two went deeper into the mysteries, Evangeline and her family's involvement with angelologists' struggle with the Nephilims is also revealed.
Note: I read the translated version of the book, not the original English text.
It's a story shared some similiar themes with The Da Vinci Code and The Historian, Angelology also mixed thriller with history and mythology, it also became a bestseller. Among those who recommended Angelology, there's one Lincoln Chil

Outline of the story: Luce is a young girl who's forced to enter Sword & Cross, a gothic, gloomy reform school for teenage deviants after her classmate/date was found dead under suspicious, unexplainable condition, leaving Luce more or less the prime suspect of the mysterious death. In Sword & Cross, Luce struggles to find her place among those less than friendly students. Life in a reform school is hard, what make it even harder are the shadows that keeps stalking Luce and putting the people around her in harm's way. Among students, Luce finds herself helplessly attracted to a moody, mysterious student called Daniel, who seems to be hiding something......

The second book of The Hunger Games series dealt with the aftermath of the Game. Katniss returned to her homeland, District 12 with her supposed lover Peeta, who also survived the Game with her. Together they must endue a Victory Tour through out the country. Katniss soon learned that the ruling class in the all-powerful Capitol, President Snow included, were pissed because Katniss had outsmarted them in the Games. Gokumonto, or The Hell Gate Isle, is widely considered as Seishi Yokomizo's best work. It's a fine mixture of human dramas, mystery, murder and horror, once you read it, it would definitely leave a deep impression in your mind.
The story follows Detective Kindaichi, returning to Japan from the South East Asian war zone after World War II, he went to visit the Hell Gate Isle, a remote island and homeland to his late brother-in-arm, who died on a ship on its way back to Japan. Before the man's untimely death, he begged Kindaichi to go to his homeland in order to save his three younger sisters from being murdered, but the man had no time to explain to Kindaichi why would he foresee his sisters' death and who might want to kill them.
Bearing his late friend's chilling last will, Kindaichi set foot on the Hell Gate Isle. He met his friend's surviving family and the dead man's three beautiful but ominous younger sisters. On the

I'd read all three books, there're things I like and things I don't like in The Hunger Games trilogy. This time I'll focus on the things I found disappointing in the trilogy.
Let's get down to business and state the problems!
At first she's okay, in book 1 she's quite a solid and reliable character, she has her flaws but well, no one is perfect and I accepted it. However, as the story goes further she becomes increasingly difficult for me to sympathize with. Instead of growing from a girl who merely wants to survive to something more than just this, from book 1 to book 3 her character growth is, pitiful at best.
It annoys me that she seems to feel no guilt toward Peeta before, during and after she used him in the Games--alright maybe she'd feel guilty for a mere second now and then but hardly acts upon it, not until Catching Fire. In book 2 and 3, I hoped again and again that Katniss would become less sel

Hello everyone, a few days ago I discovered a translated version of Twilight in the public library, even though I'd like to read the English version (It wouldn't be bad to get some LOLs from SMeyer's English writing) but...a lot of people seem to be still ordering and queuing for the book, so I have to make do with the translated one.
First thing, bear in mind that I don't mean to say it's bad for people to enjoy Twilight, but I wrote the rant in hope that more people would be aware of how bad the books were written and what kind of wrong/misleading messages it might be sending to their readers. Last but not less, I want everyone to have a good heart-felt laugher by the time they finish reading the following rant.

For some reason I like the idea of Jacob and Leah, the two Indian werewolves characters from the Twilight series to be together as a couple, since Jacob/Leah never happened in the original story, so I toyed with all the could-have-been and here's what Jaocb/Leah should look like, my plot followed the original novels closely, but the annoying 'vampires' and the even more annoying 'heroine' Bella were not the focus of the story:
Jacob Black: a werewolf shapeshifter who unluckily chose to waste most of his time fancying Bella Swan, who at first treated him like dirt and then leading him on selfishly. He was second in command in Sam's werewolves pack before he separated himself from the pack together with Leah and Seth. By most parts Jacob was a likeable teenager in Twilight and New Moon, until SMeyer turned him into a rapist-in-training in Eclipse and a pedophile in Breaking Dawn.

Eclipse novella ReviewReview: The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner by Stephenie MeyerEclipse novella Review in Reviews & Guides More Like This
The background of the story:
In Eclipse, book 3 of the Twilight saga series, the 'bad' vampire Victoria wanted to build an army of vampire newborns in order to get even with Bella and the Cullens. To achieve her goal, she created a sidekick called Riley and put him in charge of training/controlling the newborns she had made. The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner deals with what is going on with those newly created, confused and blood thirty newborn vampires, and focuses on one of the newborns, a young girl called Bree Tanner.
PS: In this review the word 'vampire' is being used very loosely, not that I actually acknowledge sparkling disco balls really deserve to be called vampires anyway.
The Story itself:
The story is told from Bree Tanner's perspective, and focused on the last few days of her 'second life', Bree had to depend on her new vampiric convent/group for survival even though she felt no co

Women want jewelry and fine clothes,
To make them feel proud.
They want others' attention on them,
Whenever they move around.
Beneath these desires, one passion still waits
To be satisfied.
Whether someone will satisfy it or not,
Brings different tears to their eyes.
What is the passion I speak about?
When a man satisfies it, she weeps tears of joy;
When he refuses her, she weeps from sorrow.
But my lover satisfies me every time,
And great ecstasy will always follow.
So I cry to Heaven above
"He is worth more than my jewels."

Je me perds en sa robe de bise.
Somptueuse amie au beau bras blanc,

Te voir venir, portée par le vent

Et mes songes trop blancs saignent toutes mes strophes

L'effroyable néant, seigneur des antistrophes,

The last four months of 2009 are mostly happy when it comes to movies with ratings below PG-13/12A. Food from the sky, a chance to see two Pixar classics again, a lie to change everything in a world where lies or religion don't exist, lots of happy romance going on, a magical door that leads to a world beyond your wildest imagination, big friendly creatures playing with a little boy, an anime franchise revival, a last chance to memorise the King of Pop, a famous Christmas tale being awesome-fied, woodland creatures having fun, a friendly retro planet getting discovered and two royals/frogs keeping a currently-disrespected company alive.
And then we get 2012.
There have been many mentionings of the world ending this year. Terminator Salvation was post-apocalyptic, the Sun was the main target of destruction (WTF) in Transformers: Revenge of the Perverts, the machines and Stitch Punks in 9 were the world's only inhabitants after the attack, the Surrogates almost caused

Cool World reviewCool World review in Reviews & Guides More Like This
Cool World is possibly the weirdest animated film to date. It holds plenty of similarities to Who Framed Roger Rabbit and almost every animated moment of it is strange as hell. Heck, it's weirder and more nonsensical than Rock-A-Doodle. And in the line-up of Paramount's animated PG-13s, it kinda beats Bebe's Kids but definitely doesn't beat Beavis and Butt-head Do America.
OK, onto the plot. A detective from Las Vegas in the 40's (sound familiar to you?) named Frank Harris (Brad Pitt) has an accident which kills his wife and sends him to an animated universe named the Cool World. 47 years later, a cartoonist named Jack Deebs (Gabriel Byrne) produces a comic strip with the same name as the alternate universe he doesn't even know Jack about. His creation, Holli Would (Kim Basinger), takes him to the real Cool World, and boy, is it weird. Everywhere there's original cartoon characters (doodles) of different types, shapes and sizes in the styles of old Disney, Looney Tunes, Wa

When I watched this pile of bull from the creators of Ratatoing, I felt like puking. The Little Panda Fighter is even worse than Ratatoing in my opinion. It was just awful. Haven't DreamWorks even heard of the cheap studio that made this?
Okay, so the story is about a panda who wants to do martial arts. No, this is not Kung Fu Panda. This is something 65% different. The panda's name is Pancada and he also dreams of being a ballet dancer while cleaning the Bear Box Bar. Grizzly Elliot much? (OK, that was a bad pun.) The world he lives in doesn't contain just any animal. It's bears only. His friends are a naked anthromorphic female bear named Beth and a snot-nosed, tall-headed bear with Yogi Bear's collar named Catotinha, who sounds like Mandark from Dexter's Lab. His boss is a tough polar bear named Polaris, who has posters of lame Brazilian bear parodies of fighting films in his office. Every bear strangely enough has three fingers on each paw.

I have seen plenty of bad movies for the fun of it, but nothing can compare to the horror that is Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2. That's right folks, this is THE worst movie ever made. If you were some sap that didn't like Star Trek 2, Toy Story 2, Terminator 2, Aliens or, hell, even The Godfather Part II, this movie might make you appreciate them a little more. This film is so awful, it managed to rank a high number on the IMDB's Bottom 100 and Rotten Tomatoes' list of worst movies. The comedic critic Willie Waffle even gave this movie an awesome -1/4, considering it to be one of the worst movies he's ever seen in his life. It's just that awful! I hate it hate it hate it hate it hate it hate it hate it hate it hate it hate it!
Most critically bashed movies have a weak plot, and so has this. Not just because of the idea but because there are random stupid things going on throughout. The plot is only 25% related to the first Baby Geniuses. At the beginning, you'll se

Getting the Looney Tunes Golden Collection DVD box set for birthday and watching every single cartoon on the discs, my interest in the Looney Tunes has risen just about as high as the Muppets when I first saw Jason Segel's movie. I even looked at my old Looney Tunes annuals and found the comics funny as a 20 year old, the best coming from Dave Alvarez. One of those comics was a Lola Bunny comic in which she went on a Lara Croft style adventure which turned out to be another day in her life as a pizza delivery girl. Later came Who Framed Roger Rabbit's 25th anniversary, and I imagined what life would be like for cartoon characters with the current state of the animation industry. The next month, I watched their newest Cartoon Network sitcom, and the more of it I watched, the more I thought, "You know what? I think I'll review Space Jam!"

Have any of you watched an animated film by Camillo Teti called "Titanic: The Legend Goes On", which I reviewed months ago? I feel bad for you if you have. Real bad. But if you think that was bad, prepare for something worse. It's Italian, the plot is weak, the characters are unlikable, there's mice and there's a happy ending, but no, there's no rapping dog. What could there be that's so stupid in this movie? Well, wait and see, in this review of a rare movie that deserved to be rare - Orlando Corradi's The Legend of the Titanic.
Where do I start? This film is about some grandfather mouse named Top Connors living in New York who tells his grandchildren about his journey on the Titanic. I don't know when this movie takes place, and when he was young he sounded like Bob Hoskins on helium, very inappropriate for his girlish appearance, so if this takes place in the time this movie was released (1999) and the mouse was about 40-ish in human years in 1912, does that mean th
Thief and the Cobbler reviewThief and the Cobbler review in Reviews & Guides More Like This
The Thief and the Cobbler, created by the animator responsible for Roger Rabbit and the Pink Panther, was a beautiful film. That is, if it ever were completed properly. The film is probably the big inspiration for Disneys Aladdin, which was just as great. The animation is so brilliant, not even the likes of Disney or Don Bluth could top it. Its a film youd have to feel bad for, since it took up to 26 years to make and seemed to fail and get butchered.
Its about a cute mute (at least he shouldve been) named Tack, a cobbler, who might compare to Jo-Jo in the Blue Sky version of Horton Hears a Who. The other main character is the swamp-coloured, cheeky, silent thief (at least he shouldve been silent). He is crazy for gold stuff as Scrat from Ice Age is crazy for acorns and he stinks so much that his flies follow him everywhere he goes. Tack falls in love with the pretty Princes
The Karate Kid 2010 reviewThe Karate Kid 2010 review in Reviews & Guides More Like This
This movie 5.9/10 on the IMDB, which differs from what the others think. And why? Because it's a remake! All you fans of the original Karate Kid judged the remake too hard when you saw the trailer. Just because it's a remake, doesn't mean it's always going to be bad. Not everyone will like it, but I did! It completely destroyed my expectations positively. It is only close to being as good as the original, and two memorable scenes are changed, but there are a lot of things Jerry Weintraub couldn't afford back in 1984, such as a real kid (the original kid was, believe it or not, in his early 20's), a true kung fu master, a trip to China or the chick from Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. It doesn't even beat Toy Story 3, but then again, what will?
What surprised me in this film was that a song from the end credits of Hancock is used, when that was another film by Will Smith. The "Poker Face" song by Lady GaGa is also used, so beware Lady GaGa haters. That's the only song

This will be a pleasure to you as you will get all the money you can contain. So I want to give you ideas for the final episode of the fourth season. I hope you accept the idea and start production as soon as you can, adding the best scripting possible.
It begins with Miley Stewart deciding that she should not retire from her pop career as Hannah Montana, so she arranges to record her new single and prepare for the concert. Robby Stewart helps Miley on the songwriting. She predicts that she will make the best song she has ever written. Lilly Truscott, Oliver Oken and Jackson Stewart agree to manage the instruments for her band, and the Jonas Brothers come to co-operate in vocal talen

Arthur hissed, glaring at him with those gorgeous emerald eyes. "I kinda got caught up in a traffic jam on the highway...it's not my fault, I really tried to be on time! I mean, I would never leave you waiting on purpose!" "I know that, love", Arthur sighed. Alfred was confused. Did Arthur forgive him? Or was he still mad at him?
