god i have fallen in love with pterosaurs over time.

generally i don't really draw direct inspiration from things. by that i mean i don't just see something and think, ill use this as a base for something else. similarities as such tend to be mostly coincidental, which is the case wits a lot of designers

but pterosaurs are just glorious
their head shapes and crests are just crazy cool
archosaurmusings.wordpress.com…

however there is gonna be a distinctive pterosaur vibe to standard wyverns in ravine, not counting the burnt ones...also known by their scientific name

weirdverns XD
as shown here

and yes, once ravine reaches, lets say six books , i will publish a comprehensive bestiary book :) always loved those
btw they call this little fella, the river wyvern or often, the angler

Another page from Little Victory: Chimera.

I confess to enjoying The Fast and The Furious, and a couple of its sequels. It's a nice, no-brainer film that I can have playing in the background while I draw.
It gave me the idea for these (minor) characters. Think street racers.....with mechs.

Cautious is not in my vocabulary!
But I looked it up, and yeah, according to this definition I guess I'm a pretty cautious guy.

Something that's probably safe is the Twogag Facebook page.

The diet that works best for me is the "leg diet".
Basically, put all your healthy food on the lower shelf's, then break both your legs.

There's a lot of cute animals on Tumblr, I'm not considered one of them.

NOTE!
Due to a large number of people mentioning exceedingly high postage rates on the online purchase option, I am looking into this. I am the author of the book, but not the publisher and distributor. If you are interested in obtaining the book via post and are experiencing odd postage rates, I am told that it is better to call House of Secrets directly and perhaps they can make alternate shipping options not available on line.

Well, next page, just like I told ya. I like this one- except for the open panel 3. Just look at it. I spent so much time on it, penciling it anyway- It's just so hard to figure out what angle to 'shoot' the picture. Oh well. It got the message across.
Next page is gonna be digitally colored- I wanna try it out, see if I can do better. I'm sure I'll still do watercolor comics, I just want to try digital out. Also I got a request I want to work on in watercolor, and I only have one desk, so it's better if something is digital.

Poor Pyro. Nobody even knew you were respawned into a wall too!

Aaccckk
So here it is.
The first page.
Don't kill me if this takes forever. Because these pages actually do, ehehe...
Anyway next page should be up in a few days. :iconsurethingjohnnyplz: Hopefully tomorrow given all I have to do tomorrow is do the laundry and go to driver's ed at six.
I know very well that TF2 takes place in the 60's. Just thought to clear that up. 1953 is a significant number, though. Also ~MadJesters1 is making a much nicer comic, about the same stuff. (Portal and TF2 crossover) No I am not copying Jesterperson. At least I hope not, we may have some similar ideas. Don't kill me please. (By the way you should totally check out their comic. :D)
This is in watercolor and dip ink pen. Might change it up later though. :iconwoooplz: You never know what I'll do.

EDIT The unfinished page is up: [link]

This is like my only contribution to deviantart. Comics and drawings that make no sense at all.

Should I put a mature tag on this? I know there are like three drops of blood and a gun, along with a headcrab, but I don't think it's that bad. Tell me if you think I should put a tag on this or not.

There should be another page after this one. I have to color and dialogue it yet. You'd think I would have gotten this finished faster, but unfortunately the computer with the scanner program died, and my computer is dying. So I had to upload the scanner program to yet another computer. Also the scanner isn't big enough for the stupid page (by under a centimeter, dangit!) so I had to make two scans and piece them together.
I'm still happy with the result though. I didn't get too hatch happy, the shading on that one building is awesome (you can see I put in in there three times just because I was so proud of it, haha) and personally I think that third panel is one of the best panels I've ever made.
So yeah.
Orange.
Coming soon.
Perhaps.
It will basically be an Orange Box fanfiction comic. There's going to be characters and elements from all three games in the Orange Box. All I have to do now is finish Half-Life 2. By the way, I'm in RAvenholm right now- how much farther do I have to go? Just wondering.

Tell me what you think.
Oh, and would this count as digital or traditional media? I made the lines with ink and pen but I colored it on photoshop...

... when I first got offered to do work on a StarCraft comic I was STOKED!!!... I'll be honest and admit I haven't played the game a whole lot, BUT I do love the visuals and the Tonka-Toy feel of the armour and tech in general (and I say Tonka is the most REVERENTIAL possible way... I LOOOOVE TONKA!!! :) )

.... anyway, as is usually the case, I think I go to draw the big HUGE power-armour a total of ONCE in all the short stories I did! heheheheh... for the most part, the pages I drew were very 'civilian' in nature, so this short story was the most 'military' and action-based of the ones I got to work on, and I am still happy with it.

The pages were printed in full color, but I like doing a 'greyscale' layer so the colorist can colorize it and save time, but also I get to be more specific with lighting and stuff like that.... yes, I am a control-freak :)

... so basically, this character (sorry, forgot his name!) is a mercenary and deals in 'pharmaceuticals' on the side.

This is the first page of the first issue of what would become a crazy toy phenomenon!!! ... this might also be the first appearance of Kopaka ....I drew this page MONTHS before Bionicle was 'unleashed' onto the world. I had noooooo idea of the insanity that would ensue! :)

At the time I did this, I was strictly a penciler, and I REALLY regret not having good scans of Richard Benetts' awesome inks over this first story... if I'm not mistaken, this was his last 'full project' before he retired from comics..... as I've said before, I've been a fortunate bastard! :D

... I apologize for the crappy quality scan, but at the time (10 years ago now? geeeeeez!!!), my only concern was sending lo-rez images to my editor for approvals.

Ooooooh had I known, I would have kept all my originals to this stuff! :)

P.S. the little 'X's are an indication to the inker that means "fill this with black".
