"Bent get up dude mom and dad want to get going like right now." A voice said to me through the darkness of the closet that I slept in.
Without even moving or lifting my head I replied groggily "Tell them I will be down later."
The closet door closed and I stood up; stretching from my head all the way to the end of my tail. M claws dug into the carpeted floor as the feeling of refreshment flowed through me. Kyle, the person who woke me, was downstairs talking to his parents.

Accidents can cripple, hurt, and cause destruction. Well a little known fact is; accidents can also reveal secrets dark secrets. Some secrets we keep to save others some we keep just to save our reputations.
Then we have secrets that are kept to protect ourselves from serious harm. I learned this the hard way; now here I am standing before three creatures of legend. Shaking and in fear for my life just because I had an accident.
The day started off like any other day. My small suburban neighborhood was silent like it should be. The forest that was behind our community was alive with only chirpings of birds and other various animals.

"Oh my head " I said as I sat up "Where am I?" I asked realizing that I was in a dark, damp cave. Light was shining at the end of the cave; I got up and ran towards the exit. The cave exit was very wide so I had a clear way out; outside the cave was a vast forest. The moon shone through the trees and a gentle breeze blew, the night air was warm.
I spotted a calm blue lake, I walked over and seen my reflection in the water. My messy brown hair, green eyes, and well tuned body, all looked back at me. The water was cold as I washed my face off, "Who are you?" I heard an angry female voice say. I turned around and seen a girl about my age standing by a huge pine tree.
"Oh thank god someone that can tell me what's going on." I said standing up, "Actually you better explain to me what you are doing here." The girl commanded of me, she had black hair, blue eyes, and a slim but muscular body. "I am sorry but I just woke up in a cave and I can't remember a thing except my name.

Low, dark grey clouds hovered over a wide, short brick building. Wind shook the few trees that stood in the small green yards that lay on either side of the two doors that made up the main entrance. A long gazebo, with a tin roof, hung over the entrance, support from two brick columns held it up. On each side of the doors, four windows peered out from the building. Orange and brown leaves blew down the street, around the numerous cars parked on the curb-side of the road.
Rustling from the leaves echoed through the eerily quiet town. All life seemed to have disappeared from the streets and outside world. Nothing moved or made a sound. The silence was broken by the fall of footsteps on the concrete sidewalk. A teen, dressed in a red winter-coat, blue jeans, and a pair of gray and green Nikes, quickly ran towards the big building. He wouldn't have left his warm comfy armchair in front of the fireplace in a day like that, if it wasn't for the fact that the local Gamestop just got a few hundred copies of a game he really wanted to get, and although he did preorder it, considering the amount of people who did the same he really wanted to make sure he could snatch a copy as soon as possible.
He tried not to run as he made his way to the store, mostly to avoid breaking the umbrella's protection, but also cause the pavement was slippery, and falling only to get splashed by a car driving by wasn't something he really wanted to experience again.
He was only a few hundred feet away from the store when for some reason he stopped by the plush shop.

This is a question that pops up every once in a while, and I'm sure that a lot of you out there are familiar with it. Whilst a few people will deny their existance, there are quite a few who will defend that the beasts did at one point in time exsist, and that they were either wiped out by the humans, or went into hiding to conserve their numbers. Some people will even go to the ends of the earth to try to find exsistance that dragons were real, only to come home empty handed.
However for one person who was trying to prove their exsistance, they would stumble upon something that would change their life forever.

Green and light blue scales covered its entire body, a body which was not really bigger than me in general terms. At first I thought it was another dragon, looking at its scaly muzzled head, but examining it further I saw no wings, and my eyes shook upon seeing the endless torso that elongated and kept going until it ended in a tail. That creature had human-like arms, but no legs and seemed to move like the snake it looked like. It was wearing a tribal-like necklace, and two arm braces. Some of Josh's "dragon-like" traits were the fact that he was a loner. He didn't have many friends. The reason for his having so little friends was because he was very skeptical about new people, even more so than most others. He also hated being around a lot of people. Copy-writing is probably the highest paid skill on the Internet. Article writing is in great demand for providing content for websites. Creative writers are in demand to bid for projects every day. So the first step in how to become a writer is to research all of the options.
2. Plan using logic and desire. Write the way you want, but decide whether or not you want to rely on the income from your writing. Not having a regular job will allow you to focus on your writing, but it's very unlikely that you'll be able to depend on it for at least a few years. Then you might get bored.
3. Think about what you want to write, instead of what you want to get from writing. You won't get anywhere if all you're after is money.

It was like that movie, E.T…although this alien was nothing like E.T. She was lovely to look at…stunning even. Despite her tail, her animal like legs, and her pointed ears, there was an exotic beauty to her…something that was so human and yet so otherworldly. Her face, though sleeping, was caught in a mixture of pain and fear…and yet she seemed so delicate. She was like a flower of some kind.

“You okay, man?” Aaron asked. I didn’t answer him. We were both walking out of class, and I really wasn’t in the mood for a Q&A right now. Aaron was my friend, but he couldn’t know what was really on my mind. No one could.
I had shown up to class late, as I had anticipated I would. The professor had asked me what the delay was, but I only told him that I slept in too late. I couldn’t tell him the truth. Would it have made a difference if I had? He would have just called me a liar. My thoughts drifted back to Yumi. What was she doing now? Would she be okay? Why did I care so much? Perhaps I felt somehow responsible for her.
“Dude, hello?” Aaron asked, waving his hand in front of my face. “You’re getting all spacy on me man.”
“Sorry.” I answered. “I have a lot on my mind.”
“It’s really nothing, Aaron. Don’t worry about it.” I groaned. Aaron f

"What did you say?" Kim cried. She glanced from the dragon to the boy again. The boy had wandered away from them and was walking toward the cave. He wasn't looking in her direction. The dragon merely nodded.
"It makes sense that you would be skeptical. There is little family resemblance." The dragon puffed his chest out and arched his mighty neck, staring down at Kim with a powerful gaze. "However, perhaps we should get to the topic of you what is your name human?" Kim was terrified shaking in her shoes. What could she say? She was staring a DRAGON in the face and it was asking her for her name! What was her name again? She couldn't speak she couldn't remember! SNAP OUT OF IT!
"My name my name is Kim Kim Surrexit."
"And where are you from, Kim Surrexit?" The dragon asked suspiciously.
"Avendal." The dragon gave a snort, and smoke streamed from its nostrils.
"The town below the mountain? I heard commotion down there

The sky had turned dark outside and I was in the kitchen, cleaning up the counter from where Yumi had lost control with the ketchup bottle.
Supper had been nothing short of insanity. As agreed, I had grilled burgers for the two of us so that she could experience what a burger tasted like. When I lit the grill, she touched it to try and see where the fire came from and burned her hand. When we finally got the burgers done, I asked if she wanted cheese or anything on it, and she merely asked me what cheese and ketchup were. She’d never seen pickles before and the only thing she seemed to recognize were the lettuce and tomatoes…but that was only because she mistook them for leaves and fruit from her own planet. In the end, she loved them. She asked for more, so I ended up making her a second burger…and that was when she asked if she could try preparing it herself. And that was how I ended up here cleaning up the ketchup from the counter and walls.
I sighed to myself and
Dreams - A Dragon TF by JargonHello there, dear reader! It looks like you're about to start reading this story ^.=.^Dreams - A Dragon TF by Jargon in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
While I'm honoured that you'd like to read my works, I regrettably have to inform you that this story has been discontinued after eight chapters and a sidestory merge. There won't be any more chapters in this story, sadly.
I am however working on a new project that will hopefully outshine this old gal - it's going to be released some time in the future, and I hope you'll be there to read that was well.
If you can deal with this story ending abruptly with no end in sight, then by all means read on, and dream.
People dream. It's natural. Daydreams you usually control and you can make them whatever you want. Sometimes they get forgotten, sometimes they spring back to life after a long time, or just a heartbeat. Sometimes, they come true.
Last year, I stayed home from school two days because of stomach pains. My mother thought it was some kind of odd flu, mainly because she had it t
Betrayal And TearsThe boy, not more than nine, lay in the bed burning with fever. His mother sat next to the bed with her hands clasped together in prayer. The village's preacher stood by the doorway, reading from a prayer book. His mother stroked his head with a heavy heart, tears streaming down her cheeks.Betrayal And Tears in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
The healer of the village, an old woman named Anita, entered the room. She was holding a bowl of steaming liquid, which she offered the boy. He attempted to drink it, but started coughing violently after a few sips. Sighing, the old woman shook her head.
"Natasha, I can do no more. He's been sick for over a week now, and none of my teas have had any effect." She said, placing an old wrinkled arm around the mother's shoulders.
"Are you certain? There is no hope?" She whispered in a broken voice.
"I am sorry. There is only one person I know of that is better at herbs and medicine than me, and he..." The preacher shot her a warning glance. "well, you know...." The healer trailed off.

Beginnnings - Part OneDawn broke; bathing the land below with golden sunrays. The green rolling hills basked in the light, while the morning fog captured it, gaining a warm yellow glow. The old woods seemingly took a breath of the life that hummed in the air, awakening the robins and small birds that nested within the boughs. They fluttered out into the howling wind, allowing themselves to be carried away into the distance. The wind stirred, ruffling the landscape, lifting up tiny feathers and debris from the ground. A small blue feather detached itself from the rest; it sought adventure. Rushing past the others, it headed for the small village below. It was just now awakening, with smoke beginning to rise above the chimneys as the people inside rose from their sleep, eager to find out what the day might have in store.Beginnnings - Part One in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Lullaby Of The WoodsBenjamin tore into the deer corpse before him, like so many times before. Ripping out large chunks, devouring them. He hated himself for doing it. Hated the deer for allowing him to catch it. Hated the world, for what it had done to him. He hated that he actually, in a way, enjoyed it.Lullaby Of The Woods in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Ramming his claws into the carcass, he snarled in frustration. How long had he been cut off? For how long had he actually been...this? The timespan was too much for him to fathom right now. Suddenly revolted by the thought of eating any more of the deer, he grabbed the neck of it and threw it as far away as he could. He bolted away, not wanting to see any more of the bloody scene. Half flying, half running towards the nearby stream, he tried to hold back his enraged tears.
He collapsed in the gravel on the beach and dipped his front paws into the water, feeling a sudden need to cleanse himself.
Why? Why am I ssso sssuddenly repulsssed by what I have been doing for...what, how many yearsss? Decadesss,

Why's it dark?
Why on earth is my...ack... head hurting like that?
Hold on, what did I do last? I was at the inn, with Garreth...
I must've gotten completely smashed. Dang, I can never take much brew.
Shit, what a hangover. Feels like my bed is all... crusty? Er, this isn't my bed.
By the king's underwear, I'm sleeping in a ditch.
Wait a moment. I didn't have any alcohol, did I? Don't think so. Why am I sleeping in a ditch then? Perhaps I'm just dreaming. No, that headache is all too real.
Ouch, by the way.
Someone hit me. Terryl hit me. Why did Terryl hit me? I think he thought I was going to kill him. Was I that drunk? No, I wasn't drunk. Right?
I had claws.
Correction; I HAVE claws.
And a tail. That feels good.
I've never had a tail before. Why does it feel good to know that I have a tail then?
Perhaps someone swapped my drink with the salvia extract again. Yeah, that would explain the hallucinations and memory loss.
But I wasn't drinking.
Threads, Part 1 or 2A dark shape ran through the forest, intent on one purpose: Escape. Branches bent and critters bolted as the four-legged apparition stomped across the forest floor. Voices yelled and dogs barked behind it as drunken laughter rose towards the sky. A shot from a rifle whizzed past the running creature and embedded itself into a fallen trunk just before a heavy paw crushed it.Threads, Part 1 or 2 in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
The branches were too thick and the trees too close for it to take flight with its great, leathery wings. The dogs came closer, panting and frothing with the scent of this new prey in their noses – the runner longed to whip about and show them the error of their ways, but muzzle flashes and lead slugs were enough of an argument against that course of action. Disoriented from the pain and stress, it managed to bring up a few coherent thoughts and curse itself from getting into this mess in the first place. Ah, how fleeting a well thought-out plan could be once set in action and no longer entertained by the optimistic

"FREEZE!" One of the coppers yelled.
"Whoa, whoa. Slow down. I think there's been a misunderstanding." I said slowly. Shitshitshitshit. I am so screwed.
"Put your han- Put your claws in the air!" He yelled at me again.
Slowly, I raised my paws above my head. My tail was tense as a cable behind me, clearly a reflex in preparation for a battle. Not today, bro. I hope. The officer motioned for me with his gun to move away from Jim. I cautiously stepped to the side, focusing on coming up with something resembling a plan.
"Ahahah! I told you so! See? See? It's a bloody monster!" I heard Ben shout from behind a car.
"Will you shut up for just one second? We can see for ourselves." Another voice said.
A second cop nervously walked up to me, keeping his gun aimed directly at my muzzle. His eyes were darting around like a madmans, a sure sign

My oldest sister had been pestering me for a long time and was now repeatedly pulling one of my wings. Eric had gone home a little while ago, under the pretence that he shouldn't be disturbing me during such a "delicate matter" as he called it. Personally, I would not have minded him being here when I showed myself to the rest of my family, but the choice was his.
Right now, sitting in our sofa, I had put up with getting pullled, prodded and poked for five or ten minutes. I am a patient man(dragon), but even I have my limits.
"Sorry." She said, not showing any signs of stopping at all. "This is just so amazing! You have, for christ's sake, turned into a blasted Dragon!"
"Yeah, tell me about it. Now give me that!" I let out a low growl by mistake, jerking my wing out of her grasp.
She stuck out her tounge, rolled her eyes and said;

Dreams - Chapter ThreeI heard a small chirping sound from my left. I looked there, and to my surprise I saw a small sparrow sitting on the roof tile next to me. It was looking curiosly at me with its head tilted to one side. It did not seem to fear me one tiny bit, possibly due to the fact that it had never seen something like me before. I slowly extended one of my claws towards it, and it hopped onto it. Bringing it up to my face, I peered closer. It eyed me conspiciously for a few seconds before fluttering over to one of my horns. I glanced at it in wonder. Brave thing, that.Dreams - Chapter Three in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Hey there, fella." I said to the bird. It chirped back in response. I smiled, gazing out over the landscape before me. The entire valley below me was covered in glistening white snow. The road that ran from one end of the valley to the other stood out like a soot streak on a white paper. Very few cars ever came by due to the fact that the highway had been moved further away, making the place where we live a very calm place. I breath
