Just allowing Zim to scoop him up and carry him over to the tub for a bath, Dib didn't even respond or look up, his dazed gaze focused on the ground beneath them. He couldn't look back up at Zim, even if he wanted to. It was almost as though he had completely shut down.
Worried about Dib but thinking it would be best to get the both of them cleaned up first, Zim stepped into the warm goo and sat down with Dib in his lap.
His antennae shivering before falling back to rest comfortably against his head again, Dib didn't respond at all save for a small shudder as they entered the gel. He wasn't exactly used to the gel baths yet, the semi-liquid substance still somewhat cold to him despite technically being a 'warm' gel bath.
Sighing heavily, Zim pet Dib gently. "I'm so sorry, Dib...This is my fault...Again...EVERYTHING is my fault...M-Maybe...you shouldn't have remembered...You could have

Turning over onto his stomach, Dib curled up in the bed. "I thought we were underground though..." he murmured into a pillow tiredly, too tired to even open his eyes at this point. He was more than content to just sleep the rest of the night away. When he felt a tiny bit of movement in his stomach however, he let out a small whine and shifted slightly.
Zim mumbled. "Yeah...But I'll manage..." he said, cuddling up close to Dib. "Get some sleep, Dib." he said, not realizing what discomfort the other was going through at the moment.
Dib just continued to shift about uncomfortably. "Mmm...Nyeh...Tell that to my stomach..." he said, peeking one eye slightly open before bringing down a finger to poke at his stomach. He was still getting used to all the sudden movement despite the fact that the smeets had been moving around inside him since practically the first time he had noticed it.

Unaware of the gaze fixed upon him, Zim could only smile in his sleep, balling up in his spot on the couch. "Mmm..." he sounded out in his sleep comfortably.
Smiling back at him, Dib returned his eyes to his still fairly small belly. "Maybe...it won't be so bad after all..." he whispered to himself, looking back out the window. Knowing he wasn't ready to raise three babies let alone even one, he at least knew he needed to try, wanting to give them the best he could. "I guess we should start preparing..." he then whispered quietly to himself, hugging himself a bit.
Sleeping on, Zim remained out cold for the next several hours, leaving Dib to sit by a small bench near the window.

Shaking his head violently, Zim brought up his hands to tug at his antennas harshly underneath his wig. "But I didn't change his gender! He's still male! I didn't do anything but change his species!" he exclaimed, not having been wanting to go into detail about the Irken anatomy with her.
Standing up now, Tak walked over to where Gaz was standing and placed a hand on her shoulder. "He's right, you know...There are no REAL male Irkens. There are too few females. There always have been. Because of that, the males had to adapt." she then shifted her gaze over to Zim and snickered at him, making him blush uncomfortably.
Turning her head to look at Tak, Gaz then addressed her about the matter. "So what? Are you saying that Irken males basically carry on the role of both males and females? I think that would have been something you might have wanted

It wasn't until about 4 hours later that Gir came shooting through the door to Zim's bedroom, giggling, the mission assigned to him by Zim to wake the other up every morning for school. "Mastah! "Mastah?" he crawled up closer to where Zim was sleeping under the covers and lifted them, reaching forward to peel back one of his eyelids. "Mastah?" he asked one last time, tilting his head to the side confusedly.
Too tuckered out from the night before to budge, Zim simply grumbled and cuddled up closer to Dib.
Shuddering at the sudden closeness, Dib pulled away somewhat, having reacted to Gir's jumping up and down on the bed more so than Zim had. "Ow..." he peeked his eyes open to look around, bringing a hand up to hold his head. "Wh-What happened last ni

Looking back behind himself at the table with the medical bandages and cooling gel on it that the computer had told him about, Dib quickly made his way over to it and gathered them into his arms before returning to Zim's side to press the cool surface of the container holding the gel to the large bump forming on his head. Then, taking up the bandages and looking over Zim's body, he turned to address the computer again. "And where exactly are all these broken bones?" he asked, waiting for the computer's response.
The computer let out a frustrated sound. "Do I have to do everything around here?!" it said before bringing down its mechanical arms from the ceiling to point to all the areas that Zim had broken bones so Dib could begin bandaging them.

Having forgotten already that he was really, REALLY late for school by now, Zim walked slowly through the snow towards the educational establishment, a confused and even slightly sad look plastered on his face. The human never yelled at him like that so he didn't even know how to react to it. Tapping his pencil against the top of his school desk impatiently, Dib stared out the window from his seat, waiting for the bell to ring so he could leave already. Leaning back in his seat, he then let his eyes wander, looking for something interesting to stare at other than the snow for the remaining 5 minutes of class.
Nothing else seemed to catch his eye though as being all too interesting until he swept his gaze across the row of students Zim was sitting in. The alien was staring straight at him, though he looked away quickly when Dib noticed him. The air was crisp, enveloping the city in that icy grip it always seemed to have during this time of the year. Everything was white save for the red and green decorations clinging to nearly every house and building in the city. The month was December which meant Christmas was approaching fast. It was a time of cheer and good will towards all mankind...Well...Most of mankind, at least. For a certain 17-year-old high-skool student, it was a time of gloom and bad memories. While the rest of the world celebrated this joyous time of the year, he spent most of his time indoors, locked in his room, just praying that the holidays would pass quickly so he could get on with his life. He hated this time of the year, especially when he had to leave his house for reasons beyond his control. Today was no exception.
Skool still hadn't let out for winter break, which meant two more weeks of abuse, mental and physical, from the other students. Dib Membrane was the most tormented so

Zim was waiting impatiently at the oak tree once skool was over just as Dib told him to do. 'Where is the Dib-beast? Why is he taking a long time? What if this is a distraction and he's at my base!?!? He'll expose me!'
Dib tapped Zims shoulder then resumed to hugging himself.
The tap on his shoulder caused Zim to jump out of his skin. "Ahh!" He turned around sharply ready to punch whatever touched him so suddenly.
"Calm down, Zim. Geez." He started walking home to start on the project. "C'mon, lets go."
Walking next to Dib, Zim felt rather foolish for getting scared so easily. He looked down and kept quiet not really knowing what to say.
Feeling as if the silence was consuming him, Dib tried to start some sort of conversation despite how annoying Zim was. "....it's never snowed this much before....it's st

"That was actually kinda fun," Gaz said, referring to their earlier dance.
"Yeah, I like it," Zim agreed.
"Kinda makes you tired, though." Her hand was pressed to her chest as she took deep breaths.
"It's supposed to. It's an exercise as well as a dance."
"One bottle of water," Zim said to the lady in the concession stand. She fished one out of the ice-filled cooler and set it on the counter.
"One dollar," she said.
Zim dug a dollar bill out of her pocket and gave it to her, then picked up the bottle. The ice-cold water clinging to its outside made him flinch as it burned his skin. He quickly handed it to Gaz and wiped his hand off on his pant leg.
"Thanks." She twisted the lid off and drank deeply. They walked back to where Dib was sitting. "You sure Dib won't get jealous?" she asked.
"Oh, no. It's a dance. He won't care. Dib's not the jealous type," Zim replied. "If anything, I'm the jealous one. I never like anyone near him. Like this one

Dib sighed sadly as he looked at a picture of Zim, standing as proud as he could despite his short stature, hands on his hips and grinning, obviously pleased that his picture was being taken. He was in disguise; the obviously fake black wig and purple contacts normally would have made the teen laugh, but he couldn't now. Not when he hasn't seen the irken for nearly two years...
He closed his eyes as he remembered the last time he had seen him.
It was ninth grade, about halfway through the school year. In an attempt to make school more fun and perhaps revive some crushed spirits, a school dance was held. It was nothing formal, and you could come in whatever you wanted as long as it adhered to the dress code, that is. But no one paid attention to that stupid thing anyway.
Zim seemed somewhat interested in going, most likely because he wanted to learn more about Earth culture or maybe play a few pranks on some unsuspecting humans.
Dib wasn't sure, but he did know he wasn't going to
ZaDF - Things Happen...The waiting room was quiet. Only a few people were still hanging around to see family members at this time of night, but there was a particular short boy with peculiar green skin who refused to leave, sitting cross-legged on an uncomfortable chair, shaking fingers flipping idly through a magazine his eyes simply could not focus on long enough to read. Surprised but pleased at finding himself this close to his human, Zim stretched up onto the tips of his toes so he could rest his head against Dib's shoulder, reading the board too. "Hey, look!" He pointed at a bright flyer. "All applicants for homecoming king and queen need to talk to the principal before January 10th!"
"So?" Dib had no clue why Zim would bring that up.

Dib watched Zim curiously as he saw the irken remove his wig for only a brief moment to massage his antennae before looking around and quickly putting it back on. No one seemed to have noticed; no one except a certain black-haired kid.
Dib lowered his binoculars and leaned back against the trunk of the tree he was perched in. It was recess and he was doing his usual spying on Zim. They were in Hi-Skool by now and Zim hadn't managed to take over Earth yet. Not that anyone really expected him to. He's shown his incompetency so many times Dib stopped worrying about him long ago. He just liked observing the many odd quirks the alien had.
His curiosity was piqued slightly. What function did the antennae serve? As long as he's known Zim and he's never really figured it out. He assumed they were for hearing and expressing emotion, as they often shot straight up when their owner was surprised or laid down flat when he was angry. But was that all they were for?

This is a subject I think about a lot. Bear with me, I am agnostic, so my views are a bit influenced by that, but I will try to remain as unbiased as possible. Do any of the main characters have a religion? If so, what would it be? How would they have found it?
Zim, or any irken really, was the first I decided did not follow a religion. The way I see it, irkens are incredibly advanced, space-faring creatures that have no doubt unlocked (or stolen) many of the secrets about the universe, and the stars and worlds that exist within it. They may even know how it all came about. They are very scientific and intelligent, and probably like logic and proof. I can't see them having a Creationist point of view. Perhaps the way they seem to almost worship the Tallest stems from an ancient religion from their older days, but currently, it's just

He also knew Zim never missed school unless something really bad happened to him. He didn't consider the possibility of him working on an evil plan; he hasn't really done that for several months. Dib shuddered in excitement feeling those small claws through his shirt. He reached up to remove the wig and reveal those long black antennae. Curious, he felt for one of them.

Dib took his lips away from Zim's to see the alien's reaction to his little investigation. He started rubbing the stalk in his hand carefully, not wanting to hurt Zim by accident. He never thought he'd ever see the day he could actually touch these antennae.

Gripping my bookbag tight, I turned to leave the classroom. The morning sex-ed lesson had seemed to go on forever and it didn't help that Sowourz had insisted we pair up to work on some of the questions. I hadn't been paired with Zim (thank god, I can only imagine how that would have went) but that didn't stop the obnoxious green alien from demanding answers from other students. Half the morning he had spent twisting around in his chair and slamming his fists onto desks, yelling loud enough for the students on the opposite end of the school to hear, about how 'hyooman's' were lax and 'stoopid' that they actually needed to learn about this 'stuff.'
I had smirked again at that, asking him if he'd ever learned about sex-ed on Irk, to which he yelled 'I AM FROM EARTH! I AM NORMAL!' in an attempt to bypass the question.
Now I headed towards my locker. Zim's was right across from mine on the opposite side of the corridor, strangely enough. We didn't share homeroom, but

Zim watched me and did the same.
I take his hand and kiss each knuckle. "If you fall I'll catch you." Maybe. I wanted to add but that would only freak him out so I just let it go through my head.
"So how do we get up in the air?" Zim asked.
I just flapped my wings to show him and soon I was on the ceiling. "Its one way so just flap your wings and concentrate on where you want to go."
Zim nodded then started to flap. He was shaky at first but when he got to the ceiling with me he was smiling and doing different tricks. "This is easy!"
"Yeah." I nodded and take his hand and we fly through to Earth. I sighed as breat

I nodded. "Ok Zim "
Zim smiled and ruffled my hair. "Lets go get something to eat."
"Zim " I whispered.
"Hmm?" Zim asked.
"Can I ask something?"
"Yes, Dib-pet." Zim smiled walking out of the base.
"How long did it take you to come back and see my note?" I asked.
"I came back almost immediately." Zim whispered.
"So I did that for nothing?" I asked a little mad I would waste my life like that.
"No. I'm kinda glad." Zim smiled holding my hand and walking into a little café.
"Glad I almost died?" I whined.
"No! I'm glad that you would do that for me." Zim said laying his head against my shoulder.
I smiled and lay my head on his. "Hey remember that dream I told you about when I was in the hospital?"
"Yes?" Zim said sitting down across from me.
"Well, I didn't tell you all of it." I blushed.
"Oh? What did you not tell me?" Zim smirked leaning in so he rested his head on his hands staring at me.
"Well, lets just say were more than just enemies." I whispered.

Dib looked at him with uncertainty as the gun shook in his hand.
His finger moved from the side to the trigger but waited.
I stand there thinking of away to escape. None. I heard a click.
"Last chance. Get down on the ground and give me the gun." He growled.
This was all a game to the man. What did he want? The burglar fires but it only hits my upper arm making Dib obeyed and pushed the gun over.
Now with two guns the man dragged me to each room taking wealthy possessions.
When we come out Lilly was home her eyes wide as she was down on the ground.
"You got what you want now let him go." Dib cried.
"No." That was his final words as he left.
He pushed me in his truck and drove off.
A guy in the back next to me put a blind fold and hand-cuffs on me.
"No!" Dib cried as Jacob held him back.
"You can't go after him." Jacob whispered.
Dib fell to the ground crying. "What does he want him for?"
Lilly rubbed his back but it did little.

I wake up to a yelp to find Dib under a Irken.
I get up and look confused for a second that's when I saw five more come and defend against Dib.
Adrenaline starts as my spider legs come out and hook on to the cords above me as I hide in the ceiling.
I look through just enough to see but not to be seen. Dib was bleeding heavily as he fought back.
Then all was quite as one Irken and one human stepped in. Tak and Gaz.
"This is really what we've come too? To think Gaz just told me how great our race is." Tak rolled his eyes.
I stiffen when she glanced up quickly.
The way she looked at me was frightening. A plan was behind those eyes.
"Shut up! You're the one who TOLD us about them!" A Irken snapped.
Tak buffed her nails against her shirt. "And? I told you I didn't say to go beat the shit out of its mate."
Gaz cracked her knuckles.
"Plus that thing your beating up is Gaz's BROTHER." Tak went on. "Now how stupid do you feel?"
What did Gaz have to do wit

I did get some sleep after I threw Dib out.
Man was his screaming annoying. I could hear it all the way down here and he was on the floor above me!
I go upstairs to find Dib sad in a corner.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"I kept you up all night didn't I?" Dib asked.
"Yes " I sighed fixing his hair.
"What if when the smeets are born and when there like five I yell and kept them up wondering what I was doing?" Dib asked. "What type of father is that?"
"Dib the smeets won't be born for four or more months. You don't have to worry about that yet. You'll be a great father. If you yell out in your sleep you'll wake me up and I'll duck tape your mouth shut." I teased.
"Not funny Zim." Dib growled. "No I won't be a great father like you."
"Yes you will. Now get ready for school." I smiled already dressed.
"I thought you said you weren't going to school?" Dib asked.
"I'll go now just not when their born." I answered.
Dib got up and went and got ready.
Once ready Dib walked out and in

When I woke up it wasn't on my own willing I heard a guitar playing.
I open my eyes to find Dib strumming the guitar. It was only a light wood color nothing special. He didn't even notice me as he started singing. I only smiled as I watched him play a song I've never heard of. I knew it wasn't his own song. He never did play his own songs only songs of other people have song. It all deepened on his mood on what he sung.
"Best thing about tonight that were not fighting. Could it be we've been this way before. I know you think that I'm not trying, I know your wearing thin down to the core. But hold your breath because tonight is the night that I will fall for you over again don't make me change my mind or I won't live to see another day I swear its true because a girl like you is impossible to find. Your impossible to find " Dib smiled that's when he looked up to see me his face a dark color. "Oh you were met to hear that "
"No keep singing." I whined. "I love it when

"I'm glad to hear that." Dib smiled.
"Dib when we did that I don't get it. Why did we do that?" I asked. "Like I know the basics like a boy and a girl. It was kind of like how Irkens do it but different "
"Well how do Irkens do that?" Dib asked.
"Well its basically the same just I don't know the effects of a Irken and human would be once you do that will a human girl have side affects?" I asked.
"Maybe. If not protected a girl human could get pregnant or get a STD." Dib blushed.
I looked at him for a minute confused.
"Sexually Transmitted Disease." Dib explained.
"Oh " I whispered.
Something slides under the door. I get up and retrieve it.
I take it to Dib and read it out loud.

I sit at a table waiting for a certain human come on stage. I figured if he ever messed up I'll be able to tease him the next day at school. School was almost out. One day but, sigh, I had to go to summer camp to get extra credit. Eighth grade bites.
"What would you like, sir?" A waitress asked.
I was at a place where people come and sing like karaoke and for some reason Dib did this every week not that it mattered at least the human was good at SOMETHING. I could do better.
"Just get me a Pepsi." I whispered.

I'm heart broken.
"T-T-Tak!?" I stammered.
Tak pulled away from Gaz as soon as she heard me.
"Dib I can explain." She whispered.
"Ok explain." I growled. "Don't lie to me either."
"I love you both." Tak whispered.
"Well its me or Gaz. You can't have both." I whispered.
"I choose you, Dib. I'm sorry." Tak smiled going over to me and nuzzling my neck.
Zim sighed as he walked away sadly.
I wonder what's going through holly shit Zim loves me. LOVES.
"Are you sure Tak?" I asked now having to have to chose my two people I cared about. Its strange what can change in 7 years. I love Zim but do I love him in that way? Those two kisses they were amazing but Tak.
"Yes." Tak smiled.
I kiss her. Nothing. It was plain and boring no sparks no nothing. What? I love Tak.
We split and Tak sighs.
"Tak you can be with my sister I wouldn't mind getting replaced by her as long as your happy." I smiled.
Her antennas perked up a bit and smiled hugging me.

The next morning when I woke up I could feel other presents besides Dib.
When things finally came into view Purple and Red were in front of me Dib holding me like a scared little child would after he had a bad dream and finding comfort from a stuff animal.
"Just give him to us!" The tall purple eyed Irken leader said.
"No " Dib whined holding me tighter one of Red's spider legs on Dib's neck. A small drip of red came down from the tip.
'This was a sight you want to see when you wake up ' I thought as I pulled away from Dib's grasp kissing him one last time literally and going over to the leaders.
"No. No. No. No. No." Over and over the human cried the word.
Purple looked at Red unsure as to rather take me away from the suffering boy or not.
Dib was bawling as I was hand-cuffed.
I just looked at him as Red took me away from the cabin. Away from Dib. Away from the camp grounds.
Oh it truly did pain me to see the human cry. I had a plan. It would be a great plan if the

I'm anxious just like in one of those nights when I wait expectantly for a new, fresh episode of Mysterious Mysteries to begin on TV.
Yet, I know you for more than seven years.
I know everything about you.
I know the expression you have when you're mad at me, or that satisfied, brazen grin you wear when you outclass me even in the stupidest things.
I know that when you're worried you just wave it off, pretending that nothing could ever draw on your "superior amazingness", though your eyes tell a quite different story, and that you hate me when another of your plans to take over the Earth is thwart by me.
Yet, there are some many things I ignore about you.
I don't know what you think of me. I don't know where you are now. I don't know what you're thinking, if you don't want to go out with me anymore, if you ain't coming to the date no more I hope you'll come. Please. My heart tingled. I wanted to taste it, feel it in my body, make it mine.
I closed my eyes and very slowly, like in one of those old romance movies, making me want him more, I filled the gap between us and pressed lightly my lips on his.
My heart began pounding hard against my chest as Zims lips moved on mines.
Then, I gently slid my tongue through his lower lip, asking for entrance.
He startled a bit, and after a few seconds of hesitation he allowed me in as I slid my arms around his neck pulling him closer, deepening the kiss.
Then I felt his hands running trough my hair and a violent jolt of electricity cross my body. I felt it in every muscle, in every fibre of my flesh. Needed to show how much I cared about him, how much I loved. I just needed Zim. With that I pinned him to the wall, getting in a more passionate and desperate kiss.

Doubtful, I slowly open my eyes, glancing around a bit confused.
No. This is definitly not my room
So..Where am I?
My antennae perk up with curiosity, and doing so I realize that my wig is gone..I blink a few times, to find that my contacts are gone too.
I start to panic
What am I doing in a room that's not mine without my disguise?? And and naked?!??
I look carefully around, trying to understand where I ended up.
