Charcoal NymphCharcoal Nymph
Last night I saw no stars
Only dreams those whipped
The canvas of my bedsheets
Eagerly like sugarcane
They say heavenly lanterns
Upon sinners do not shine
But don't my lips pray fervently
To your lips every night?
There's a thin line between
Damnation and salvation
And it feels strangely tempting
To dance across it blindfolded
Dressed in just faith
In that your heart is true
I'm condemned, bareheaded
And longing for you
A pagan nymph
From ancient wise books
No good for your prophets
An angel for you
With purest charcoal
You've drawn wings on my back
For your passion's painted
With red and black

To promise to paint
One's beauty beyond compare
But instead shape

Flawless and too far from true?
Is it okay to measure treasures

For shallow pleasure?
Will dignity overcome gravity?
How many smiles costs serenity?
Sculptor's hands temptingly touch with disguised brutality...

To just one question in a million years,
Would you ask, if they'd seen tomorrow smiling
Or how brightly you shine in their light?
Upset sky, a cauldron of blue milk boiling
Contains all "what if's" and words left unsaid;
Drawers overflow with letters
Those will one day be
Written with help of runestones
And planetary constellations
That according to some
Will put minds into the right order
Bald-headed princesses fight
Over each other's scalp
To much liking of armed jewellers
Scavengers in these amber wars
Children with empty gaze
Looking from behind trellis of barcodes,
With unclear expiration date
Genuinely identical identities
Wielded by phantoms not to be fathomed

They put autographs on branded bullets
Sent to kiss sad smiling faces

Of conscience from all quandaries
And make silence a crime
Pawns die and kill for life in peace

Air infected plague retailing

It's much too late
For hellhounds sins are tasty bait
Both earth and sky have their order sublime
While among people the only law is crime
Brother stabs brother, arms have no chance to rust
Flesh made of mud will soon crumble to dust

Heartbeat of a tree
There's no place for love
In cuckoo's nest
And only a little of compassion in passion
Meant to just feed senses
For the world change is the driving power
And it drives me wild
To see you showing your true colours
You, the prey that hunts me to all edges of horizon
The forest murmurs,
Whimsical voices of fairies and wise men
A choir of timeless wannabe truths
Hit the soul more than the ears
While your hands lovingly caress
The dark side of the moon
Leaving me calm and happy
Right after faith was reborn
You carve a heart into bark
The skin bleeds amber
Fake honey imprisoning
More than the glow of sun
I ache inside just like that tree
But only 'till you say to me
With sweetness pain shall be repaid
And there's beauty in sacrifice
The colours may be getting dimmed
Through ephemeral human time
But trees they face much bigger storms
They'll make our heart safely outlast

The light of day cuts pretty masks
Out of stuff way too colourful
And glues them on faces of men
Who then stomp chessboard with their feet
In brothels red lanterns do shine
Gates there kept open, welcoming
Children to find their way back home
To the tower of Babylon
Pockets and wallets resonate
With choirs and gospels of the change
Dreaming of freedom and revenge
Who lives by coin, by coin shall die
You ask me "Why do birds have wings,
When sons of mortal men can fly...?"
I guess we humans aim too high
Before sun laughs us in the face
So is there any happy place
Except for our enchanted realm
Where love with smallest ray of hope
Warms time through magnifying glass?
Here kisses taste like vanilla
Sprinkled all over coffee beans;
If we fold enough paper cranes
Do you think we can save the world?

Underneath the stone bridge an ice-cold river flows
Sometimes it's ferocious and sometimes rather calm
Carrying days and years of world into the distance
Its strand is to the bridge what humans are to each other
Route to its end seems strangely intoxicating
Over the icy river a stone bridge spans
Forever binding two shores with a gray ribbon
Just like heart contains both grief and joy
The bridge stands firm, even though the river's driving forward
For world of wonders we always look on the other side
Even though bridge locks the river and river undermines the bridge
It's just stone and cold water embracing one another
One looking up, the other one down, both lovingly
Just like we sometimes dream although not asleep
Not paying attention to the rest of the world

they entered the sacred woods cutting deep into my skin and heart
still life insists... reaches for... my bleeding soul
seeds pierce the surface of the uncommon soil
vines starts weaving their chances with my remains
growing in the morning I rise with these fern and mosses
blessing clovers, and molding lichens are my healing
See... this is my domain, my reign
where death holds no path

riding the softly torn wind
coming from the southwest
an (un)expected, guest
pending from the stars
as part of the twilight forming
the thin, mended dusty cloak
follows through the rear window
slightly open, falling for a moment
strange to his new balance
adapting again to the pallor walls
as part of its lukewarm painting
glades of the sun - stays as he remembered
the rain singing through the water rails from the roof
running underneath the wooden floor
where the mermaids are waiting still
moving what's left of fingers
captive memories, echo once again
in the Celt circle house with no corners and cracks
with no places to hide lies, pain or sorrow
until the venetian glass mirrors stayed tarnished
for months and then yea

to build there their nests
where the wind rests
and sings audacious
sometimes in rhymes
no matter which voice
takes the first or last choice
who awakes or sleeps

at the brink of still waters
unaware... white gods slide
with gently open feathers
everything stays taken, hidden
under the reeds and grass
almost glaring, cutting glass
where souls can be found and hearts lost

The Star EaterSoon, the evening begins to slide the fallThe Star Eater in Free Verse More Like This
the last of the sunbeams is soon to crash
against an unavailable horizon filled with darkness
whiskers trembles, wakening suddenly
the old hunter's claws, redraws
its new hunger while the warrior roars
fluffy cushions, little paws
ears aware and tail seductive
there it goes eating the milky wave of stars
one by one until the void of night
caresses its fur... it roars softly, tenderly
it asks to walk the grasses
to do whatever cats do until the middle of the magic hour
its eyes blink mysteriously, graciously
once to her keeper then towards the hazel mist of woods
where the full moon still appealing, resists...
it dares to bite the silver tones of its shadow
round belly, returning home
it dreams with other cats and further tunes
now that the moon is just a new quarter
sleepy, happily sighing on its pillow
longing for the distant sound of the lonely willow

A Voice That Sounds Like YouThese cliffs, within the mists they dreamA Voice That Sounds Like You in Free Verse More Like This
praying to the wind, they sing
waves come and go on an eternal swing
longing, I miss their touch, so much it aches
This is one strange, Spring... filled with tricks and magic
both Winter and Summer beside my wing
strand golden along the sand, I stand
waiting for a Sun that doesn't come
I'm cursed... with foreseen memories
a lone shell wrecked ashore
waking the Moon and the Stars
the Night arrives, daring me with its dark light
Drifting the horizon, the Albatross stares
watching my departure...it screams, as
I am leaving the dunes never to return
I swear it's calling my name with its older voice
a voice that sounds like you...

The trees in unison are a single, unique singer

you raised so long
for a little girl
five years you were working

For the final approve
he CRACKS you
he SMACKS you
he HACKS you
and you were just shielding
your little pearl
and while you are sighing
the diver is smiling
and while you are dying
the princess is crying
'cause you had to die
for the princess' delight.

Mother's DayMother's DayMother's Day in Free Verse More Like This
Is just another day
In which I am alone in an envious haze.
Another painstaking reminder
That you are no longer here.
I hope, wish, pray
For your return but
Where you are there is no coming back.
In my life I have not spent one
Mother's Day with you
And it rips my heart knowing
There will never be a day nor holiday
I can spend with you.
A day of worship
Becomes a day of dispair, of grieving,
Leaving a sense on longing.
In school we used to write about our dear mother's;
I was the only one who was left with blank pages splashed with tears.
Is just a day dream for me
Where I am lost inside my mind
Wishful thinking rather.
Perhaps at the end of the rainbow
There would be my sweet mother with her captivating smile
That haunts my dreams in the wee hours of the night.
Instead of flowers, cards, and chocolate
All you get is a visit from me at your grave
Every couple of years
For I cannot muster up enough courage to see you.
Is just another day you see...

Birds awake from slumber,

Her hair was short, no long...
She had glasses that I know for sure.
She had a smile of pure gold

As if she were being basked in sunlight.
Her eyes large and empty like vast seas
Brown murky with mud, delicate.
Her lips were tinted with essence of roses
Soft, smooth, lines twisting, sickened sweetness.

And I stop and smile at how stunningly simple you both are.

Singing her bitter, ugly song.
She is useless,

A hopeless dreamer,
Even she knows she's a fool.
She is alone,
A prisoner of her own twisted mind.
A forgotten princess,
Happily ever after was never hers to find.
She is numb,
An unfeeling ghost.
A lost, empty soul,
Death is what she yearns for most.
She is fake,
An imposter pretending.
A self-loathing bitch,
Some wounds are never mending.
She is giving up,
Becoming another statistic.
A desperate suicide,
If there was hope, she must have missed it.
Into The OceanYou’re perfection in a single glanceInto The Ocean in Free Verse More Like This
And everyone’s to busy taking pictures
To explore reality, but when the tide goes
Everyone will see the trash and dead things
And wonder where they came from.
You’re just like the ocean.
And now I’m drowning in your indifference
With waves relentlessly crashing
Over my head, pulling me under,
Tossing me around,
Dragging me down.
Well, I always was lost in you.
My mouth opens to tell you so
But, as your poison fills my throat,
I think my chest might explode
And I might welcome it
If only it puts out the fire
That’s blazing in my lungs.
Didn’t I tell you that you take my breath away?
No longer can I tell where you end and I begin,
Or if I even exist,
And I hear you laughing because
I always wished to be part of you,
So that you could never push me away
Without losing yourself.
Now I’m the one who has no self to find.

The Itsy Bitsy KillerThe itsy bitsy spider lived on Carver Lane,The Itsy Bitsy Killer in Songs & Lyrics More Like This
Nobody knew of the children he'd slain.
Out of the darkness, with charming wit he came,
Lying through his fangs, we never knew his name.
The itsy bitsy spider lived across the street,
Luring children in with a promise of a treat.
Out came the knife and little Katie's gone,
The itsy bitsy spider is preying on your spawn.
The itsy bitsy spider is waiting after school,
You better warn your little ones that people can be cruel.
Out comes his web and innocents are caught,
Nobody knows what caused his mind to rot.
The itsy bitsy spider is someone you know,
Maybe it's a teacher, putting on a show.
Be careful with your children, know where they are,
The itsy bitsy spider is never very far.

Fall, and be proud.
Every raindrop is the same,
Splashing all around.
Nature's true tears,
Soak an unthankful ground.

The futures always yours to take.
Float instead of fall now,
A perfect snowy flake.
Every crystal is unique,
A magical winter sight.
Be you, little raindrop,
For it only lasts tonight.

Not fitting in the mold.

She'd rather always be ice cold.

I see her when the night falls,
She curls up in my bed.
My mind is but her playground,
My diet is soured dread.
Her skin is pale and smooth,
Razor teeth, sharpened to a point.
I dare not disobey her,
There's no Holy water to anoint.
I could run away somehow,
Yet, who would love me then?
Master is my lover,
She basks in my filthy sin.
