Oh my god. I actually finished it. I've been working on this painting since March, and I swear I gave up on it probably seven times and now it's finally finished. I can't even tell how many hours I've put into this - painting that brick wall alone took me over four hours, that I can remember (and so does my hand). I've wanted to paint this pretty much ever since I joined the Thieves Guild. I absolutely love the faction and all characters who belong in it. So here's my Imperial thief Bron Martes hanging out in the Ragged Flagon with his brothers in crime: Vipir who was nicknamed "the Fleet" after a heist gone wrong, Rune who doesn't recall his past, Cynric who used to be a professional jailbreaker, Niruin who chose thieving life instead of becoming a wealthy merchant like his father, and a former bandit Thrynn. No senior members, no new recruits or other operatives - just these five thieves as they were in the very beginning of Thieves Guild questline, plus a certain low level cutpurse who would climb up the ranks sooner than he'd expect. Ah, the nostalgy... Anyway, I'm thrilled that I managed to get this done in the first place - I hope you like it as well!
So I saw the Game of the Year edition of Morrowind in Steam's summer sale few days ago and I just couldn't help myself. Now that I finally have a working version of the game with all the expansion packs, I feel like there might be time for some TES III fan art. Without further ado, here's my Dunmer nightblade Varril Velethi, who looks like he might much rather still be in Imperial prison. I have played the game as a warrior before so switching to a stealth/magic class was a bit of a shock. I think I had played less than five minutes before I got whacked by a couple of slaughterfish - and don't even get me started with Cliff Racers... *shudder* This should be an interesting playthrough, to say the least - or it will be once I learn how not to get killed by every single gremlin I come across.
Also, here's a bit more realistic portrait of my elf in case you're interested:
Socucius, you little s'wit. You left that out on purpose and nothing you say will ever convince me otherwise. This is a bit of a continuation to my previous Morrowind comic. So yeah, nevermind Imperial City's annoying guards with "stop, you violated the law" -cries. In Morrowind they seem to skip all those lame procedures such as detainment and prosecution, and jump straight to public execution. I know there are guards in this game, too, and that they will arrest you - my problem is that the locals usually manage to hack my poor Dunmer into pieces long before any form of law enforcement arrives. You're not in Cyrodiil anymore, Varril. Here in Morrowind it's eye for an eye, and life for a fancy bowl.
Sorry for all this sudden Morrowind spam, but I'm bubbling with ideas and I really need to get them out of my system before I get swamped with other things.
Did this on a whim after drawing a rough sketch with my tablet; It's my interpretation of the 3D avatar I chose for my player character in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. The abundance of blue hues in the bg as well as the glowing visage reflects her strength in the Light Side.

So, what if the assassin's tale happened in the ancient empire of China, where only power and conspiracy ruled? He leaped from the raft to another, striking directly to the heart of his target! Deadly and graceful.
So, what if the assassin's tale happened in the ancient empire of China, where only power and conspiracy ruled? The city was engulfed by the fire or war. The corruption must be rid of! The setting sun on the horizon heralded the action tonight!
So, what if the assassin's tale happened in the ancient empire of China, where only power and conspiracy ruled? He was cornered by the enemies. But there's no fear within his heart as he danced with his blades, spitting the enemies' blood.
