Now I'm hoping I could have a ute for my very own, especially if I should happen to be ‘Down Under’. I mean, who knows? Maybe I'll be successful enough to open my own Australia-wide Big Squeeze franchise. Like Hungry Jacks!

.... uh.... What I mean to say is....

I too would like a ute (heck, I've even got my own plates for it!).... but, which make of ute should I get???

Should it be a Holden? A Ford? Maybe some other name?

Anyway, to all of you our 6TEEN fans ‘Down Under’, give me your views on this subject. But be nice about it. I know how heated a subject this might be for you living in a two-car-make-manufacturing nation. I don't intend to buy one right away, so no need to jump the rush to post....

But do post your answer and why.

I did this quite sometime ago, but I figure I post it. Besides I want to draw her again...

Here a sketch I did last night and webcam image'd earlier. I can't scan it due to the large page size, so it has to be this way.

Anyhoo, this is of my girl Diane, and I think that's how I'm going to have her. She's a pretty cheerful girl and she's ever-so-optimistic and positive, but not only is she a COLOSSAL bimbo, she's naked or near-naked 85% of the time (and I think I'm rounding that number down). She has a pretty big fetish for both nurse uniforms and maid uniforms as well. That was born from her love of cosplay, something she shares with her friend Lorelei.

I might've said too much, but that's pretty much it for her for now.

it´s a Batman figure based on the 90´s cartoon (93-94 more or less) Only the arms could move bur the funny was tha turn on ligth their eyes and the bat in their chest.
In the darkness it looked amazing. I still have it but the switch is broken

One of the things I remember A Goofy Movie for, was the dream sequence at the start, Roxanne looked gorgeous.

This was a little bit of a letdown.

OK, so it was more geared towards the last comic, which I should be working on now instead of doing this, but whatever. And it was another instance that I wanted to use very little in the way of dialogue and panels.

But no one could figure out what was going on. Go figure.

So once more I started pasting more scene images in and shoehorning in dialogue. The scene itself seems to lack tension, which doesn't lead well into the actual punchline where while Donna was hanging by a wire, Dash can fly. Whether her non-plussed attitude washed the tension out in the earlier panels or if it was just sloppy scene choices or just needed to be longer aside, it was a flop.

But it does set a precedent for further comics featuring The Doctor and Doctor Dash.

Also had real problems sourcing an image for the final panel. Just doesn't work for me.

Oh wah wah I'm all tortured artist. Pbbbbfsch.

OK, so here's the ultimate (or maybe penultimate) Adipose strip. It was just too fun to write.

Normally I have a vague idea of the scene before I start sourcing images, and usually a punchline or three. This wasn't any different, but where Donna and The Doctor wax lyrical about the situation I couldn't see Rainbow Dash doing the same.

Which lead to what I think is very cute dialogue. Dash is a lovable jerk, something that I've been known to be. So writing her comes naturally. Mix in some off-the-wall braggartry and her penchant for action before thought and you have a perfect foil for Tennant.

The punch I /really/ would have liked to use was Dash saying "She was kind of a Gilda". Using the name as a purgorative. The meaning was still the same, but I think it requires a little bit more thought than needed for a strip. Not as punchy, but makes me giggle like a moron is generally a bad end.

The real challenge in this was all of the Donna-removing I had to do. I'm starting to wish I had a spray that would just melt her out of the scene rather than having to smudge and cut and clone inexpertly. But the scene doesn't really draw the eye to my patchwork... work.

Finally, I just had a blast making it. I'd been putting it off a little because I was worried I couldn't do the strip justice. Which is kind of a stupid excuse, but it did get me drawing again - so that's a plus to come out of all of this. That, and a good strip.

So this is my current arc. After realising what I'd done, fancasting Dash as Donna Noble it opened up a vaaaaast set of ideas for episodes.

The silent dialogue between Donna and The Doctor always seemed funny to me here. Seems the whole scene was ad-libbed and rubberfacing is just... yes. Well. So of course excitable Dash crammed in here just seemed to work.

Actually I thought it worked so well I made the scene without words and the first frame. Again, I was trying to say more with less and it bit me in the butt. So this was the second version, and was received well in comparison.

It also lead me to stick the Dashface in the last panel on a washing machine due to an off-handed comment.

Logistics-wise the only real annoying part of this was retaining the inner circle of paint on the round window Dash is messing around behind. Eventually faked and painted my way around it. Mostly satisfied with it.
