Lily was sitting in the common room on a couch in front of the fireplace. She was reading Hogwarts, A History for her next History of Magic lesson. She tried to concentrate on the legend of the Chamber of Secrets, but it wasn't that easy, as a loud applause and screaming started in the common room. Lily turned her head.
James Potter came down the stairs. There was a white little lily between his teeth. Lily rolled her eyes and returned to her book. After a few minutes, James stopped next to the couch. He stared at the girl without saying a word. Lily sighed angrily and glanced at him impatiently.
Lily's look changed from upset to shocked while James unbuttoned his shirt. He unfolded it, sticking his chest out. There was a writing on his skin with red ink under his tie, which read: 'WANNA DATE?'
James smiled with the flower in his mouth and looked questioningly at Lily.
"No." she said concisely.
Lily stood up with her book in her hand. She he

Lily almost forgot about him, though his shoulder touched hers and he was constantly trembling -- either with anger or cold.
"Release them!", James shouted and lunged abruptly to the Blacks.
Two wands were raised at the same time. One of them was Mrs. Black's and red light jumped out of it. The other wand was Lily's who cried frightened: "PROTEGO!"
The shield spanned in front of James and the Full Body-Bind Curse glanced off of it.
"DON'T YOU DARE HURTING MY SON!", Mrs. Potter screamed and with one single kick, she floored Mrs. Black.
In that moment, all hell broke loose. Mr. Black slapped Mrs. Potter in the face with his bare hand. The thwack was terrifying.

Black dots were dancing before Lily's eyes while Remus grabbed her right arm and pulled her about between the rows. Lily and Remus arrived to the bottom of the pitch but only some confused Ravenclaw students were there. Apparently, they didn't notice the accident and landed after James was taken away from the grass. One of them was as white as a corpse and tears were streaming down his face. This single question echoed in Lily’s head after her paralyzed legs could have been moved. She rushed over the floors and stairs, bumping into people. After the sound of the bell, almost everyone disappeared. Only a few, late students were running to their classes.
Lily had no intention of following them. She went up to the Gryffindor Tower and stepped into the Common Room. Just as she wished, no one was there. She climbed to the armchair in front of the fireplace.
Two cats appeared in the Common Room, the black Ragamuffin cat with the white vest of fur on its chest chasing the Russian Blue one. The black cat noticed her owner and stopped playing. She curled her long-haired tail as if she was asking what the problem was.
“Come here, Domino!”

Lily’s feelings were totally ambivalent: she was happy that James recovered but at the same time, she was mourning Isabella’s death and she had a huge remorse for what she had done in the near past. She knew Isabella’s death wasn’t her fault, but it still felt bad. She shouldn’t have had that quarrel with her and then she could have just felt the natural sadness. But it was different now.
Her stomach was as little as a pebble when she was waiting for James’s appearance in the Common Room. Sirius, Remus and Peter were sitting around her, all of them were rapt. It was nine o’clock, there were some students in the Common Room, hovering about. They were talking silently, as if they could have woken up the sleeping Isabella with their voices.

It's karma for sure, like the turn of the tides,
And then I will lol, sitting in my own muck,
Coz after all this I just won't give a f***.

That night was opening night for the Opera Populaire's new production of II Muto, and everything was set up and ready for the show. Ignoring the 'Nightmaren Ghost's' threats, Jackle and Chamelan gave Clairs the lead role as Countess, Helen the silent role of the Page Boy, and they did not leave Box 5 open, so they were in for it!
Clairs stepped out on stage wearing a very puffy pink dress that made her hips look the size of a hippo. She was also wearing clown looking makeup, and a really tall white wig that was probably as tall as her body.
Helen walked alongside Clairs on stage wearing a long white maid's outfit, and her hair pulled back in a ponytail. Hidden underneath the maid's dress, was a white men's dress shirt, with light blue tights, and tall black boots. The outfit made Helen look like a man because in the Opera, a man (the pageboy) is secretly the Countess' lover, so in order for him to stay undercover, he disguised himself as

The Opera Populaire was a large, thriving Opera House fulled with the most talented artist in all of Nightopia. It was a large theater with red velvety chairs and gold statues all around the room. The ceiling was very high above the floor, and in the middle of it was a huge crystal chandelier. Everyone was franticly getting ready for tonight's show. Back stage, all the stage crew members were making final adjustments to pros, costumes and backdrops, while the dancers stretched and started to practice. On stage was the Opera House prima dona: Claris Sinclair. She was running through a song from the production 'Hannibal' when-

'He?' Helen thought to herself with a confused expression on her face. 'NiGHTS maybe? Hmm...' Just as Helen was about to ask Emily who gave her the rose, she left the room shutting the door behind her. Now being alone, Helen sat on the stool by her vanity pondering at the mysterious rose she was holding delicately. 'Who is he?' She wondered when suddenly, the door opened.
"Hello Helen." A handsome purple jester holding flowers said as smooth as silk.
Could it be? Is it really him? Helen turned to find her childhood sweetheart kneeling next to her holding a lovely bouquet of flowers. "NiGHTS!" she cried giving him a tight hug. "Those picnics in the attic..." she said, trailing off, and letting nostalgia t

Ezio didn't hesitate to just simply walk into Leonardo's workshop. I wanted to scold him for being so rude, but I was too excited to see Leonardo again.
The room was dimly lit, and there seemed to be even more papers and junk spilling out over the room. With a quick glance casting over the room, I saw the Italian painter standing next to one of his many shelves, reaching up and grabbing for something.
I got to it before Ezio could. "Leonardo!" I exclaimed, running past Ezio and up to Leonardo with open arms.
Leonardo took in the sight of us before I threw my arms around him. "Ezio! Narina!" He hugged me back in an excited manner and then took me by the shoulders and held me an arms length away. He looked over me quickly with a grin and then up to Ezio, who was approaching us now with his hood down and a smile on his lips.

We all had a party at Tad's house for his 18th birthday. He drove us around Afton for hours, listening to music so loud that we could scream along and no one would know. It was Devin, Libby, Wyatt and me that was celebrating Tad's birthday with him. He had to beg Wyatt to come with us, since Tad was the only boy in our 'group'. Wyatt wasn't exactly close friends to us girls, but we were acquainted with him due to our time in orchestra together--the trips just brought people together more than one was comfortable with.
We ate at the Red Baron restaurant, had an ice-cream fight in the car, went and cleaned his mom's car, went to Canyon View park and took pictures for remembrances for years to come. We managed to get to Alpine in our shenanigans and we busted into Tad's house, his mother, Tami, greeting us with hugs and smiles.

I bathed for the first time in a week once we were all settled in the Villa. Once I was cleaned of all blood, dirt and grime, I toweled myself off, rubbing away the ribbons of water. As I rubbed the towel into my hair roughly, I reached out to wipe away the steam that clouded the mirror.
The skin on the young girl that looked back at me was smooth and pale, a small dark mole under her right eye. Her lips were more pursed yet still full and rosy pink. Dark and wet black hair tumbled carelessly across her forehead and over her shoulders. Her figure wasn't exactly luscious-sort of soft and thin, but still very noticeable. However pretty and innocent looking, her deep blue eyes spoke of truths and realizations of a woman who had gone through a lifetime of trouble, and her face was drawn from her exhaustion and her own mistakes.
I was skeptical, but the round necklace that was rested against the woman's collarbone told me that this woman was indeed my own

We left for San Gimignano as soon as Mario equipped me with the proper equipment A sword strapped to my hip, some throwing knifes attached to my belt, and a small dagger against the sturdy boots that Mario gave to me.

¡Auxilio,me estoy muriendo!

pues yo veo contento aquello inegable:

Déjame palpar tu vida, tocar tu realidad,
tal vez viva contigo.
aqui percibiendo,y aqui siendo nada.

Her Gentleman, Chess Piece: Part Four
It had been nearly thirty minutes since Lord Michaelis had left to go find (F/n), and Lady Camilla Riverside was more than a little agitated. At first the woman had tried to play her part well, talking small talk with Lord Phantomhive about the weather and other such docile subjects. But as the minutes continually ticked by and her daughter still hadn’t been brought back to the house, Lady Camilla let her calm mask slip.
“Where on Earth are they? I was led to believe that Lord Michaelis knew his way around your grounds, Ciel?”
From his place in the seat across from Lady Camilla in the drawing room- where they had retired after desert had concluded- Ciel sighed in annoyance. Apparently both of their social masks were slipping now, and it was rather liberating- though neither would openly admit to such a thing.
“I am sure that Sebastian will find your daughter

Her Gentleman, Chess Piece: Part Three
(F/n) had been angry when she first run into the Phantomhive garden- positively livid from her mother’s actions and calloused indifference- but now as she let the cooling winter breeze blow over her still form she was calm. Whenever the young woman was upset, it was usually a momentary feeling that passed quickly; tonight was no different, though instead of going to her room she had run to someplace unfamiliar. Instead of a warm and dry room with a window seat, (F/n) had a wintery garden, a maze-like hedge, and a tree that hovered upon a hill.
Some might have despaired over the drastic change, but (F/n) felt no such aggravation and only moved closer to the tree. As long as she didn’t have to deal with people, the young woman was fine in any conditions. Cold elements and slight discomfort be damned; they were much better company than prying, foppish socialites.
As (F/n) regard

It was well past sunrise, and Lady Camilla Riverside was devoid of emotion. Though internally she was in hysterics at the obvious absence of her daughter, outwardly she was unable to show the feelings. After years of hiding what she truly felt and thought, it was now impossible for her to bring the truth to the surface. So instead of sobbing miserably and crying to heavens for her lost child, Camilla sat in agitated silence.
After Ciel had told the woman about her daughter’s contract with Lord Michaelis, she and the Earl had gone downstairs in search of them. But with the sea of masks it had proven to be an impossible task. So they had waited, with Camilla downing more cocktails than was healthy, and Ciel playing the host in the seat of honor. It had felt like a lifetime waiting for the Masque to come to its conclusion, but when it finally had it still had made no differenc

Her Gentleman, Chess Piece- Conclusion
Lady Camilla Riverside had long since run out of tears to shed, but as she glanced back at the Phantomhive Manor one last time she felt her heart quiver within her chest. It seemed like a lifetime ago that she and (F/n) had arrived at the stately mansion side by side, and now she was leaving all alone. It had only been a week, and yet everything had changed. Camilla despaired at the prospects of her future, but at the same couldn’t help but feel relieved. After a lifetime of secrets and lies there was nothing left to hide. Every scrap and planned deception had been laid bare; each uncertainty or shortcoming had been brought to light. (F/n) knew the truth. She had finally grown up. No more awkward shyness, or fear of people. She obviously understood her purpose and knew what she needed. And deep down Camilla was overjoyed for her child. Though things would never be the same, she was

Lady Camilla Beatrice Riverside was a woman of divine beauty and overflowing fortune. Throughout Europe she was revered for her name and personal gifts, and all of this praise and respect was uniquely and well-earned. Having been born to a British Aristocrat family and then marrying well when she was young, the woman had made quite the reputation for herself. She was cunning and had the delicate virtues that any true lady should have, as well as a flair for authority, so she had bypassed everyone’s expectations and gone exceedingly far in terms of her social climbing and wealth.
Her husband, the right honorable Lord Mathew Riverside had died a handful of years past from tuberculosis and Lady Camilla had never remarried. She had respected her late spouse and hadn’t found the need to chain herself to another man when she was perfectly happy and freed as she was. (It was a fact tha

The Phantomhive Manor was a beautiful estate on any given day, but tonight it was nothing short of magical. With the lights of the chandelier shining forth, the exquisite decorations, and the handsome couples dressed to the nines it was like a scene from a fairytale.
I suppose that tonight I am Cinderella. (F/n) thought anxiously, as she moved further into the ballroom where the Masque was currently taking place. Out of place and unfit to be here.
The Ballroom was vast; more than large enough for everyone to dance, and still have enough space for sitting chairs, a dining table to fit all the guests, and room for the orchestra that was playing most spectacularly.
(F/n) had been forced to many social parties over the years- seeing as her mother was very fond of such things- but never before had the young woman been in the midst of such a large and outlandis

(F/n) gazed out thoughtfully upon the Phantomhive grounds that were currently covered in snow and ice; the cold and blustery midday matching the swirling movement of her thoughts rather nicely. And for once, her rather subdued disposition wasn’t chilly; her actions of late were not familiar or planned. Where (F/n) should have been fearful or uncertain, the young noblewoman was quiet, contented and calculating. She wasn’t upset by what was happening; instead she was rather curious and even a bit excited. So much had happened since she had arrived at the Phantomhive Manor with her mother almost three days prior; so much had changed with nothing more than a simple meeting. . . Though in truth, meeting Lord Michaelis had been anything but simple.
During the three days since that fateful conversation beneath the Willow tree, Sebastian and (F/n) had gotten closer. Though they

Lady Camilla Riverside let a private smile grace her lips, as she began her deft appraisal of the Lord who might be good enough to steal her daughter away. She had never met Lord Michaelis before, and if her doubts were to be put to rest, she would need to get inside his mind and study him at her leisure. If the man couldn’t be a pawn in some way or other, she wouldn’t let him near (F/n). It wasn’t wise to have a partner who was better than you in every way; especially if (F/n) was to have freedom as a married woman.
As the men drew closer to where Camilla and (F/n) were seated, the elder Lady Riverside tallied points for each gentleman in her head. Though the Earl hadn’t stated an interest in courting (F/n), there was still a possibility for a match there as well, if Lord Michaelis failed to endear himself and take an interest in her daughter.
