That night was opening night for the Opera Populaire's new production of II Muto, and everything was set up and ready for the show. Ignoring the 'Nightmaren Ghost's' threats, Jackle and Chamelan gave Clairs the lead role as Countess, Helen the silent role of the Page Boy, and they did not leave Box 5 open, so they were in for it!
Clairs stepped out on stage wearing a very puffy pink dress that made her hips look the size of a hippo. She was also wearing clown looking makeup, and a really tall white wig that was probably as tall as her body.
Helen walked alongside Clairs on stage wearing a long white maid's outfit, and her hair pulled back in a ponytail. Hidden underneath the maid's dress, was a white men's dress shirt, with light blue tights, and tall black boots. The outfit made Helen look like a man because in the Opera, a man (the pageboy) is secretly the Countess' lover, so in order for him to stay undercover, he disguised himself as

Helen quickly and quietly kissed NiGHTS's forehead without waking him up, and then left the room, headed for her carriage.
As she walked out of the Opera House's entrance, she saw her carriage driver standing around in the falling snow, looking for someone who needs to go somewhere. As Helen approached him he smiled, and bowed to her.

I know that a few OCs appear in this fic, sorry if you don't like that, but I need them to fill the scene. Gwaine in this fic is not exactly the same Gwaine as in season 3 episode something, as in he didn't meet Arthur and Merlin like in that episode. In truth he wasn't really bothered by the fact itself of sleeping with Arthur (it was a rather, erm, nice thought actually); mostly he was scared of the man's reaction. It was late and his front was soaked when he came back home. In fact the gesture was rather sweet.
But it also meant he couldn't take a detour, go somewhere private and use his magic for awhile to take out his frustration, nor could he free his (by now extremely twitchy) ears and tail. He settled to kicking a stray small rock down the corridor, grumbling about stubborn bigheaded dollopheads. The knight lingered by the physician's door. Merlin wondered if he planned to sleep out there on the stone floor, if Arthur had ordered it. Stupid princely orders. Stupid prats.

She was reading all night the day before Christmas. She was so excited because of the next day, she couldn't sleep. 'It's because it's Christmas tomorrow', she thought but a part of her common sense (a very shameful part of it) suggested it was because of James's return.
She woke up for a loud scream. "MERRY CHRISTMAAAS!" She jumped out of her bed frightened. Her D.A.D.A. textbook fell down from the bed. "Me-Merry Christmas" Lily yawned for Mary and went to the bathroom to wash herself awake.
"Aren't you excited for what you got?", Mary asked.
"I am", Lily mumbled, and then spit the toothpaste she had in her mouth to the sink. "But I don't want to have dental caries."

"Did I mention how much I hate you, Black?"
Lily's question spread between the hospital beds. James turned a page in the Evening Prophet and answered without looking at Lily: "Yes, you did. This was the fifty-second time."
"Still doesn't express the hatred I feel for him.", she grumbled and tried to sit up in the bed with several painful hisses coming from her mouth.
"You should be grateful, Evans", said Sirius from the opposite bed. "You don't have to study for a few days."
"I'll let you know if I want to burn as if I was in the ninth pit of hell again." She answered him with contempt.

Sound of approaching footsteps tore Lily and James apart. Mrs. Potter turned up in the basement again. She was followed by Sirius and Remus.
"James!", the woman screamed and sank on her knees next to his son. "Are you alright, sweetheart?"
"I'm fine", replied James and he sat up. "Is dad… he was just stupefied, was he?"
"Oh, yes", she sighed. "Rennervate!"
Mr. Potter batted his eyelids confused. He could slowly understand what was going on around him.
"Darling", he stammered, looking at his wife. "What happened?"
"I'll tell you everything at home", said Mrs. Potter and stood up.
"Where are the other Death Eaters?", Lily asked Remus.
"They Disapparated", he answered.
Lily glanced at Sirius. The boy was staring at his parents on the floor. James and his mother and father were too busy with reuniting, so only Lily and Remus could notice his conspicuous silence.
She stood up and stepped to him. She put her hand on his shoulder patronizingly.

Lily, James, Sirius and Remus huddled together under James's Invisibility Cloak.
"Where exactly did you get this Cloak?", Lily asked.
They were sneaking on the Hogwarts grounds, towards the Whomping Willow.
"It's inherited in our family.", James whispered.
"You wore it when… when we were in the Hospital, didn't you?", she inquired.
"Yes, we did, Evans, but would you stop questioning us when we're on such an important mission?", Sirius hissed.
Lily shut her mouth and mutely followed them under the Cloak. She had no idea how they would get through the Willow's flapping branches, but she didn't dare asking it -- they were still too close to the castle and the boys might have sent her back.
"I'll be right back", said Sirius, he slipped out of the protection of the Cloak and transformed into a large, black dog.
Lily watched him amazed while he ran under the branches of the tree. The plant suddenly froze as if Sirius immobilized it.
"C'mon", James whispered.

This single question echoed in Lily’s head after her paralyzed legs could have been moved. She rushed over the floors and stairs, bumping into people. After the sound of the bell, almost everyone disappeared. Only a few, late students were running to their classes.
Lily had no intention of following them. She went up to the Gryffindor Tower and stepped into the Common Room. Just as she wished, no one was there. She climbed to the armchair in front of the fireplace.
Two cats appeared in the Common Room, the black Ragamuffin cat with the white vest of fur on its chest chasing the Russian Blue one. The black cat noticed her owner and stopped playing. She curled her long-haired tail as if she was asking what the problem was.
“Come here, Domino!”
The cat jumped on Lily’s lap. She mewed quietly and looked up at her. Lily looked at the beautiful, different coloured -- one of them blue, the other green -- ey

Black dots were dancing before Lily's eyes while Remus grabbed her right arm and pulled her about between the rows. They weren't the only ones to run around like crazy; everyone panicked and shouted James's name. Lily and Remus arrived to the bottom of the pitch but only some confused Ravenclaw students were there. Apparently, they didn't notice the accident and landed after James was taken away from the grass. One of them was as white as a corpse and tears were streaming down his face. Lily watched the beefy boy who seemed to be a Beater -- judging from the bat in his shaking left hand. She was so befuddled she lost the ability to keep in mind what to do in this critical situation.
Remus continued on his way with Lily's hand in his grip.
"He's not dead. He's got bumped in the head with a Bludger. They took him to the Hospital Wing.", he said while rushing towards the castle.

Lily decided to start practicing for the forthcoming exams as soon as she got back to school. She kept the promise she made for herself, and so she reread her textbooks.
On Tuesday, she was on her way to lunch, just after she had received James’s letter from St. Mungo’s. He wrote he was going back to Hogwarts the next day, so Lily was in a very merry mood. She intended to share the source of her joy with Sirius and Remus too, because Sirius had been upset for those three days since school started, as James wasn’t there to practice for their match against Hufflepuff; and Remus was worried about his friend. Everyone seemed to be so sad and down around her at school that day, but she felt happy.
But before she could turn left on one of the corridors with a wide smile on her face, someone called her name:

"James", whispered the woman on the floor.
Lily almost forgot about him, though his shoulder touched hers and he was constantly trembling -- either with anger or cold.
"Release them!", James shouted and lunged abruptly to the Blacks.
Two wands were raised at the same time. One of them was Mrs. Black's and red light jumped out of it. The other wand was Lily's who cried frightened: "PROTEGO!"
The shield spanned in front of James and the Full Body-Bind Curse glanced off of it.
"DON'T YOU DARE HURTING MY SON!", Mrs. Potter screamed and with one single kick, she floored Mrs. Black.

Her roommate Vivienne had asked several times who he was and why hadn't he come back around since, but Sarah had skillfully avoided answering fully.
It was still a week before Thanksgiving break and in an attempt to take her mind off of Jareth, she'd been hanging out with her friends in the theater department, helping to build sets and sew costumes when necessary. Mostly she hung out with her friend Nate, who knew about her "boyfriend" but was kind enough to not press for information, unlike Vivienne. "Sarah, don't you think you've done enough?" he asked as she finished up the final touches painting a backdrop.

Sweat formed on her brow as Sarah tried to remain still under the sheets of her bed. It was hours after all of his citizens had left the impromptu party in her room when Jareth bent down to peer at the sleeping mortal before him. This had to be one of the most undignified things he'd ever done--freaking out in front of a man like Ezio Auditore! And from what he'd seen in the Animus, Ezio was a pretty tough guy, but he was such a kind friend, brother, son, nephew, lover, that Desmond was sure that Ezio would understand. But poof, there went his first impression moment.
It was foolish of him to be thinking such things at the moment, and he felt silly. What was more important was the matter of Ezio, Altair, and the Animus that (perhaps, probably, most likely, definitely) brough

The white-hooded assassin looked back over his shoulder to check on his progress. Even though he was running as fast as he could, there were two guards quickly gaining on him.
Shit! Run! he yelled at himself. There was no chance to fight against so many people without getting seriously injured, or worse, dead. His legs were getting tired but he couldn't afford to stop if he wanted to get away with his life.
He rounded a corner in the busy street, searching for a way to lose the guards. With his heart pounding in his chest, he made a split-second decision to awkwardly duck into an alleyway.
Taking precious seconds, he took a couple steps back to make a running start for a wall. Leaping up he grabbed an outstanding brick and began to haul himself up.
By then, the guards had found him and were yelling angrily from b
Encounter: Chapter 4It had been 9 days since Altaïr had been admitted into the hospital. The first 7 days were in the Intensive Care unit. Days of waiting... worry... unknowing... Since in the IC, visitors were not allowed to stay. They could come and go and certain hours but were not able to stay in the room with him for the night. So Desmond and Lucy lived in the hotel a few blocks away from the hospital for a week. Everyday visits were made to Altaïr, but all this time he was unconscious. Maybe it was a coma; the doctors didn't know. Lucy thought it was an effect from the Animus as this was different from other coma states.Encounter: Chapter 4 in Fan Fiction More Like This
Than on the 8th day, Altaïr was moved to the normal wards, as the doctors declared him healing quite well from his many wounds. Much to Desmond's and Lucy's relief. But Altaïr was still not awake, which troubled the couple and confused the doctors. There was no telling when he would wake up from this... nothingness.
When Altaïr changed units, Desmond and Luc
Encounter: Chapter 5Damn, it's been 5 days since Altaïr woke up from the coma thingy. The 14th day in this fucked up hospital. Altaïr is doing fine now, and Lucy feels better about it too. I'm glad. Why the hell am I writing this? I mean, noting down how I'm feeling shit. Well, there is nothing else to do other them sit down and scribble. It's only taking up very little time... I'm bored to death... Actually, Altaïr talks to us a lot. He tells me and Lucy stories about himself: places he has been to, his childhood, what is was like back in his time, his life as an assassin. I really think that he's an interesting guy... there's this feel about him. It's different. Everything is OK now but I still feel that there is something going on still in Ab

At those words Desmond breathed a sigh of relief. It was what they had been waiting for, so many days. At last Altaïr was well enough to leave the hospital.
The weeks spent here had been bitingly torturous, mentally and physically. It had been hard to stay in a small place for much of a day and worry ate at his mind.
On the other hand, in such close proximity with Altaïr unsettled him. The overwhelming desire to touch him warred with his sanity and relationships with him and Lucy. Two different things, walls he shouldn't breach but if he did, what would happen? Ever since the night he had so nonchalantly caressed Altaïr's face, he'd been even more disturbed. Desmond shook his head in disgust to clear away his thoughts and paid attention to Lucy again.
She was discussing arrangements and Altaïr's condition with the nurse now. Since it didn't really involve Desmond much he went over and squatted next to Altaïr's bed. A

The assassin- Altaïr Ibn La Ahad- scaled the wall, desperate to escape the guards. He let out a cry when an arrow struck his back. Fire ran up and down his spine.
In his pause during the climb, an archer took advantage and shot another arrow at Altaïr. It hit his right arm, making him lose his grip on the wall. Altaïr dangled from the ledge with his left hand, pain shooting up his arms and back as he tried to swing his legs up to get back. The first time didn't work, the second he barely made it on.
By this time one of the guards had attempted to go after Altaïr. A sword in his hand, he scrambled up the wall. With his terribly injured state Altaïr had trouble reaching the top. The guard approached him, taking a jab with his sword and missing. But he had slipped on something; the guard glanced down to see wet blood. Glancing up he saw Altaïr's blood dripping on him. It gave him courage that the as
Encounter: Chapter 7There was finally a light that glowed dimly into the trunk. Desmond could see it through his half-closed lids, and he smelled the open, fresh air above him. He saw a shape above him, illuminated by light from behind.Encounter: Chapter 7 in Fan Fiction More Like This
"Lucy?" he asked. Augh. The light hurt after spending so much time in the darkness; he felt like a zombie awakening. Screwing his eyes he tried to sit up. "We're there? Here? Whatever?"
Lucy nodded and someone else joined her. "You look dead," the new person commented in his deep voice. Desmond had to smile at that. Altaïr extended his hand out to him, and Desmond took it gratefully. With a tug Desmond raised himself to a crouch and gingerly jumped/slithered out of the car. It bounced slightly after his exit.
"Ohhh," Desmond groaned and doubled over. A burning ache started in the right half of his body, clenching and unclenching. His feet and hands felt numb, than tingled as

It was a particularly warm summer afternoon and Harry was letting his mind wander. It was the last lesson on a Friday afternoon, and while everyone else around the school was having a fun lesson in the sunlight, Harry and the rest of Gryffindor, along with Slytherin, was stuck copying out the uses of Asphodel in the dungeons. While they wrote, Snape kept a watchful eye over them, occasionally asking a student, usually from Gryffindor, to stop talking or show him their work. Harry gazed mindlessly around the room and his eyes soon settled on a blond head a few rows in front of him. A thin shaft of sunlight from a small window very near the ceiling of the room came to fall on the boy's head. Harry noticed that the few stray hairs escaping the gelled mass glinted golden in the sun. The boy must have felt Harry's gaze as he turned and glared at him. Harry quickly looked back to his parchment and dipped his quill in the ink, hoping that Malfoy wouldn't no

"Malfoy, what are you doing around here?" Harry asked him, squirming in the awkward moment.
"Potter, you like me don't you." Draco knew it would just be easier to get to the point rather than try to build up to it, making it even more awkward. He was also worried that putting it off would give him time to chicken out and lose all the confidence he'd spent the last two hours building up. Harry was taken aback at the bluntness of Draco's statement and his heart sped up. What was going to happen?
"No, I..." he started.
"I've seen the way you look at me, Harry," Draco lowered and softened his voice. He knew that being harsh was not going to get the answer out of Harry. Harry felt his heart flip at the sound of Draco saying his first name in a tone of voice which was genuine and silky without its usual sarcastic sneer.
"W...why are you here?" Harry spluttered out the question, shaking hard. He was looking at the floor, not darin
Drarry fanfic Pt 12 The heat hung heavily in the air like an unneeded blanket smothering everything under its weight. Although it had only just gone eight in the morning and the sun hadn't even begun to shine at its full capacity, the air was hot and humid. Even the wind, which had begun to pull at the leaves and chase pieces of paper from the desks as it invaded the room through the window, carried some warmth with it. Each sound was intensified, people laughing and chatting sleepily, owls hooting as they returned from a night's hunting and the deep, rhythmetic rumbles of Ron Weasley snoring.Drarry fanfic Pt 12 in Romance More Like This
Harry contemplated throwing something at him to get him to shut up but decided that he was already awake and had little hope of getting back to sleep in the heat. Drarry fanfic Pt 5 Draco closed his eyes and wound his arms around the Gryffindor's waist. He felt Harry put his arms around his neck and deepen the kiss. All the confusion melted away, everything was perfect. Draco felt Harry pull away, but he held him tight. He didn't want the magic to end, not just yet. He didn't want to wake up from this dream, not just yet. He didn't want to sink back into reality, not just yet. In his heart, he knew it'd have to end and he'd have to wake up and go back to the cold reality of what his friends, let alone his father, would do if they found out, but not just yet. Draco lay in bed. He was angry as he'd had yet another fight with his friends. He'd come into the Slytherin common room in a rage after a run-in with the mudblood, the weasely kid and potter's girlfriend asking him what he'd done to Potter. Why did they think he'd done something to Potter! As he sat heavily on a chair between Crabbe and Goyle he ranted,
"Can you believe Potter? He thinks I've done something to him! He's the one planning something against me! Who does he think he is anyway! Him and his stupid mudblood friend! And the Weasley girl, trying to reason with me! What does he see in her anyway?!..." Draco babbled on, his voice getting louder and faster as he went. "...Him and his beautiful green eyes!" As he said his last line the room became quiet. Pansy stifled a small sob and left the room.
Suddenly the room became noisy. A series of angry and mocking voices merged together, overwhelming him.

Drarry fanfic Pt 2 Harry had just finished his homework when the sun began to set, and waiting for Hermione to get packed up, he played with the grass, tearing the lush blades from the ground and running them through his fingers. He toyed with the idea of trying to get them to levitate but Hermione was finished and Ron had finally given up being patient and was now pestering them to hurry up. As he stood up he saw the familiar figure of Ginny running over to him. He was happy to see Ginny but was aware of a niggling annoyance in the pit of his stomach, before he could figure out what it was Ginny had flung herself at him and was giving him a bear hug. He hugged her back and the four of them went off to the main hall. Harry tried to ignore it, but he had a funny feeling about the way Malfoy, who was in front of them, had given a beseeching and almost sad look towards him before disappearing into the building.Drarry fanfic Pt 2 in Romance More Like This

“How do you have time to do that?” Harry exclaimed as the others arranged yet another trip to Hogsmeade.
“Why don’t you?” came Ron’s reply. “We still manage to have time free and we’re doing all of the same work as you.” Harry thought for a second and realised that he seemed to spend a lot more time on the paired project than anyone else. Even Hermione didn’t have Ron working all of the time and that was a big feat.
