The Simpsons family in Homer and Marges bed. It was a thunderstorm outside and the kids was sceard. Maggie woken up first and they could hear her scream in the babymonitor. Homer picked her up and brought her in to the bedroom. After 10 minuts Bart and Lisa come in to their room scared to. Homer, Marge and Maggie was awake and Marge pated the bed to show that they could climb up to. After 30 minutes, 22.30 the kids was asleep. But not Homer and Marge. They were just looked at their miracles and was so proud of them. Homer took his arm around his wife and said:
If you remember the episode where Lisa is born: "Lisa`s first word" you will remember Bart is upset when she is born because he doesn`t get enough etention. A little sister everyone gives their entention to, a dad who have made the horrible bed with the picture of a clown. And no one askes how he is feeling.
But one day he is coming into the levingroom where Homer is sitting with a beer and watching tv, Marge holding little newborn baby Lisa. Bart is upset and sad and asks to hold the baby. But in the episode Marges says no because he is to little.
But this scene Marge said yes. Homer who had watched them sat his beer down and lifted Bart up to Marges lap. Marge layed carefully Lisa in Bart`s arms and told him to hold her under her head and back with his hands. He did so and looked at her. He got a big smile on his face, finaly he felt like a big brother. Homer who watched his kids looked at Marge with loving eyes and she returned the smile to him.
Bart was looking on his sister then up to his parents with greatful eyes and said: "She`s beautiful mom and dad!" Homer and Marge was laughing a little of what Bart said and thought it was lovely to say such thing for a 2 and a half year old boy. Homer: "Yeah, she sure is son."
I have always wanted to make that scene into a happy one.
It was late at night 9 o`clock, when Grandpa is visiting his son Homer and his grandkids. Bart, Lisa and Maggie was so happy that their grandpa showed up, it had been a long time. He was such a great grandpa
"Bart and Lisa: Grandpa!!" "Abraham: Hey kids!" Homer who had locked up the door, watched them in the hallway. Abe sat down in the sofa while he lifted Lisa to his limp and Bart sat close into him on the other side. Maggie who had stood by Homer feet got a big smile on her face and fallowed Abe, Bart and Lisa. But she wasn`t tall enough to reach up to the sofa and gave her father a sad look. Homer couldn`t resist the face and smile while laughed a little. He then walked up to her and lifted her up to lay over the sofaback. She seemed fine there so Homer didn`t mind. She had falled down some times but didn`t have any damages so he just made her lay there. Marge was in the kitchen and heard the noise and came out. "Marge: What`s going on?" "Homer: My dad came for a visit. I think the kids is happy." Marge who saw them now got a smile on her face. "Marge: Yeah I think they are." Homer layed a arm around his wifes shoulder and smiled as well. "Bart: Grandpa, can you tell us a story?" "Abe: Of course. It was 1942 and the soldiers was coming from...." "Homer: Not to long kids, it`s nearly bedtime." "Bart and Lisa: Okay, daddy!"

Le story (if you haven't read it) - Please keep in mind, this was written in the great Futurama hiatus between Season Four and the movies, so the plot don't flow with the newer stuff. Part 1: [link] Part 2: [link] Part 3: [link]
Apologies to those that gave me suggestions for background characters, but I didn't have time with a sudden wave of assignments from uni.
Surprise to those not expecting this till Wednesday! I realise I will have absolutely no time that day because of preparations for my birthday/Halloween party!
[if you haven't (been bothered to) read the story, this is le section] Fry stopped and stared in surprise at the exhausted Leela who was glancing behind her nervously. She pulled the candy bucket from Fry’s hand.
‘Right, Zapp is on my trail and I…’ she trailed off as she took in Fry’s getup. From his plastic sword to the bandanas, golden hoop and eye patch, Leela could easily pick him as a pirate. But the eye patch was a nice touch, Leela wondered if he’d done it intentionally to look similar to her.
‘Nice,’ she commented, trying to sound sarcastic. ‘Did you think that up all by yourself?’
‘You helped a little.’ He said, turning his face so she could see the wound that complimented his tacky outfit. He slipped his arm around her shoulders.
Leela stepped back slightly from him, placing her hands on her hips. ‘I think I would’ve preferred a pumpkin suit.’
‘Is the patch a little much?’ he asked smoothly, confirming Leela’s thought.
Maggie is a little confused, its not everyday she gets to run into her Tracey Ullman counterpart on the street. At first glance they are both a little shocked by the other's appearance, but if they agree on one thing its that Professor Frink is probably to blame for this.
It was fun trying to mimic the old Ullman sketch version of the art for this pic.
Well, it has been entirely too long since I have been able to actually submit something here. With the Simpsons’ 500th episode airing not too long ago, I was inspired to set aside some time and truly work on one of my scraps and make it presentable. And I’ll admit it is more fun to draw than study. I'm not too great at back grounds, so I put the characters in more of a wallpaper type design. I like this drawing, I always thought that if the characters were allowed to age, and as Maggie grew up, she might have the best relationship with Homer over any of the other kids. At least that is my interpretation based on their interaction throughout the series. The quote is taken from one of my favorite episodes. So that's it, my interpretation of a future father-daughter moment for Homer and Maggie The Simpsons: copyright Matt Groening and FOX
These sketches were done quick and sloppy, but what I wanted to focus on more than making them perfect was to try some more interesting poses. I'm open to any suggestions for making them better, If anyone who sees this has any tips for making poses more dynamic.
Well, i wanted to put a bit more action in to this. Inspiration from a Simpsons episode where Marge and Homer has a romantic dance; and some photos from a theater performance. All made in Paint.NET. If you like this; also take a look at the line art version. leif-j.deviantart.com/art/Danc…
Based on the file photo shown in At Long Last Leave , the 500th episode, with some of my own personal touches thrown in, as you'd expect. I will most certainly be drawing more art based around this episode as I found there were some nice scenes that suit what I normally draw, so why not do my own take on them. With just over 3 months since I last did any Simpsons art, I need to get back to dishing them out more often. I have to say, it feels good to be drawing in the style again after so long.
S15E14 - The Ziff Who Came To Dinner. Homer took Bart and Lisa to the theatre to see the movie Re-DEADNING (a horror movie) and the kids were very scared. Lisa: Dad, I don't like this movie. Can we go home? Homer: Oh honey, don't be scared. Look, they kill the evil doll. (Man screaming). Lisa: *whimpering* Homer: Well, what do you know? It's unkillable. Lisa: *Cries* Homer: Honey, can daddy rest his soda on your head? Lisa: Mm-hmm. Homer: That's my girl.^^ Awwwww, Lisa is so cute when she's scared.
