a commission work done for *Shadowhardt of her beautiful cat Berlioz, I really enjoyed painting her fur so I took even further than I usually do... so the wallpaper size to appriciate details c: used photoshop and paint tool sai.
Part of a series on my way between Alberta and California, I got some really great shots last year that I couldn't do anything with for a long time, but it's nice to be able to post them now. I think what I liked most about this one was the way the mist that went further back changed with the colour of the picture (it is not a gradient put on top of it). It happened in a few of the others as I got closer to the mountains as well As much as I don't particularly like being in most parts of the states much, I do enjoy flying over it, it is a very beautiful country.
I got a new camera a few days ago and went out back to test out some macro shots on the new flowers my mother has planted. The flowers in the right are actually only like 3 millimetres wide. I'll try some nicer shots tomorrow
This is the beautiful view you are rewarded with, if you have the energy to climb a hill in Dovedale in Derbyshire, England, where I live. As you can see, I am never lacking in inspiration for painting, being lucky enough to live in this paradise!
