Today I am continuing on with the second part of my Blue feature. This time I am featuring
the works of some of my Watchers and Friends as I did not have the space to include it all

Seeing Red Part 2Hello my friends and watchersSeeing Red Part 2 in Personal More Like This
In my last journal, I told you all that my family and I were getting ready to evacuate for Hurricane Issac. We ended up checking into a pet friendly hotel for a few days. We lost power our first night there! When I reserved our room, I asked if they had a back up generator..they told me they did...They LIED!!! Myself and everyone else staying at that Hotel were less than amused! Anyway, Things got a little rough down here but I am happy to report that my family and I escaped the hurricane virtually unscathed. Aside from a few pieces of siding that came off our home and being in the dark for 3 days, we were one of the lucky ones! For others, recovering will take quite some time..

Before I talk about my feature, I would like to tell you that I just went through another surgery for staph (MRSA). I am doing well, Still a little sore but on the road to recovery. Please forgive me if I can't leave comments or answer every comment I receive. As you can imagine, I've fallen quite behind on DA and there is no way I can take the time to catch up. Luckily I did this feature and also the next one before I had surgery! My illness is also one of the reasons I haven't submitted any new photos in awhile, so please bare with me. Hard to believe that 2011 has already come and gone, seems like it just flew by! I've met so many new friends and discovered so many talented artists this year. You, my friends have amazed me!
