Here's something that I have been told to draw many times by different people, to draw Ahsoka battling against Starkiller. And, I decided to finally do it. However, when it came to the, I decided to draw Ahsoka in her Sith form that I created a long time ago, [link] and even gave her a sith name, Darth Carcharadon. And Starkiller here is drawn in his Sith Stalker form cause I was too lazy to draw him with his face showing.

And here's one drawing that I have been working for several days, and taking the extra time and effort to make this the best picture possible, And this time I finally realized how to use layer masks and other tricks that I couldn't do very well. I actually did most of this picture on SAI, then some final touches on CS5.
Now as to the picture, this is my idea of Barriss wearing a Jedi armor, similar to the ones the Jedi Generals wear, though she being a Padawan, she is under the rank of Commander.

This here is Captain Craith, my original character. He's the clone captain that lead a lone gunship to check on Commander Colossan (in my previous Clone Wars comic), the clone in charge of executing Master Timo Denn when Order 66 was processed. Craith arrived too late to save Colossan from losing both arms in a brawl with Master Denn, but was able to take out the Jedi with a pistol and the element of surprise.

Craith has since then modified his armor to reflect his support of Colossan to remain in active service after receiving two robotic arms. His paldron and kama reflect Colossan's color of choice. He has since become Colossan's second in command when leading campaigns for the glory of the empire.

He's had the distinct honor of killing a number of Jedi since Order 66 was issued, and when my story begins, he's being hunted down for this very specific reason.

More to come!!!

I was treated to something fun when I woke up today: Galaxy 7 has been released and my cards are popping up on eBay! Lucky collectors have found several of my inserts of SWG7, and to celebrate, I'm releasing a whole bunch of new images! This batch is:

Commander Bly, Commander Wolffe, Captain Fordo,
Clone Lieutenant, Commander Cody, Commander Gree,
212th Trooper, 501st Trooper, Atin (Omega Squad)

Atin requested by contest winner :iconsushiprincess:!

This is probably the last batch of G7 cards I'm sharing, so I wanted to end with some TROOPERS! Hope you guys dig em!!

Personal sketch card of Jacen Solo aka Darth Caedus from the Star Wars: Legacy of the Force novels.

I have not read them, by the way, so I may have taken a little bit of creative license with his look here based of what little images I can find of him online...

Did this on a whim after drawing a rough sketch with my tablet; It's my interpretation of the 3D avatar I chose for my player character in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. The abundance of blue hues in the bg as well as the glowing visage reflects her strength in the Light Side.

A couple people mentioned how there should be a little more contrast between Bastila and Revan's black robes in "Dark Side Victory" and it got me thinking of maybe using a lighter shade of black or even a different highlighting shade. But then I thought it would be a better idea just to do the flip-side of that pic and do my light side ending. Again Carth gets nothing ;P but of course Revan doesn't kill him in this ending.

****update*** September 6, 2008

It's been nearly a year since I posted my "Light and Dark Side Victory" pics and all that time there was one little thing bothering about it. I did not like the way I drew Revan's hand holding her lightsaber, nor was I too happy with her lightsaber either, it looked to big, even compared to Bastila's double-bladed lightsaber. But I was really happy how the rest of the pic came out I didn't want to try fixing it and messing the pics up. But now that I have much more experience in modifying my pics I finally just drew a new hand for Revan and completely redid the lightsaber. Those who have seen these pics since I first posted them might notice a difference for those who are just seeing it for the first time, trust me, it looks better than it did ;)

I started working on this pic nearly two years ago, I think. It's supposed to be Revan on the bridge of her flag ship when Bastila and a squad of Jedi are trying to capture her, moments before Malak tries to blow her up. I wanted to have Revan Force choking a Jedi and have a couple of dead Jedi in the background (my Revan's a choker, she doesn't go for spamming Force lightning ;p )

It was also during a time I was getting a fair amount of people (trolls) "informing" me that Revan is male. As if by some miracle I wouldn't already know about the "official" canon :O_o: Especially with all the trolls whose sole purpose seems to be to spam every piece of female Revan fandom out there.

I wanted to wait until I was completely done before posting it, but I haven't been able to work on it for nearly a year :( And I've been starting to get quite a bit of spam on my Revan deviations again.

Though DA is no where near as bad as all the idiots on youtube, it had gotten to the point where I just felt like posting a deviation where I can explain once (and only once) why my Revan is who she is.

A video game called "Knights of the Old Republic" was released way back in 2003. I got it pretty much as soon as it was released. The first thing you have to do when you press start is choose your character. Now you're not choosing a Revan, you haven't even heard of Revan at this point. You can choose your character's class; soldier, scout, or scoundrel, and whether that character will be male or female. Since this was the first time in anything Star Wars a female could be the hero, I most certainly created a female character. If mermory serves my first character was a scout, whose outfit resembled Han Solo's (and because I really hated how the soldier and scoudrel outfits looked like.... plus the scout gets sexier looking underwear ;p which I wasn't aware of at that point =p ).

I don't remember the name I chose for my character that first playthrough, but during the second playthrough I named her "Chayla" (a random name the game generated) "Starcross" (a deliberate name I generated ;p ) and that's who she's been ever since.

Once you're done with that the game really begins and opens like any Star Wars movie with the fanfare and opening crawl. The crawl informs you of the situation and that the reigning Sith Lord Malak is the last apprentice of Darth Revan. And that's all you know about Revan so far. Your character wakes up on a Republic ship being attacked a boarded by Sith forces. If you're familiar with Bioware's other games like Mass Effect and Dragon Age then you'd be familiar with the story progression as your character continues on her/his journey meeting knew companions and learning new skills.

After the first act; escaping the planet Taris and meeting the majority of your companions, you go to the Dantooine Jedi Academy where you become a Jedi padawan. Here is where you learn the ways of the Force and more importantly get a lightsaber :D You also learn more about who Darth Revan was and that your companion Bastila was there when Malak betrayed Revan. Your quest to retrace Revan's steps to discover the secret of the Star Maps, which makes up the majority of the second act of the story.

The second act ends when you and your companions are captured and during your escaped you're confronted by the Sith Lord himself, Malak, and it's during that confrontation that you discover that YOU were actually Darth Revan all along.

Now I really feel sorry for Revan fans (male or female) if you only knew about Revan through comics, or more likely through Wookiepedia ;p , because actually experiencing this in the game was the second most awesome moment in Star Wars history (Vader revealing that he's Luke's father would be the first). And in a Sixth Sense-esque twist you realize that Revan was never referred to by gender and when Revan's face was finally revealed it was your character's face :omg:

When Malak betrayed Revan, she was critically wounded but Bastila was able to keep her alive using the Force, but Revan's mind and memories were shattered. Since the Jedi don't believe in executing prinsoners, plus they needed to know what Revan knew, they imprinted Revan with a new identity, the character you created before the game started. The experience was so positive that when I actually created a male character for a third playthrough, I only made it to Dantooine before I just had to stop and start over again with a female character.

The first official publication stating that Revan was canonically male didn't come out until sometime in 2007. That's about four years after the game came out. And I only found out about it because of all the idiots that were spamming videos on youtube featuring female Revan who just seemed only too eager to informed the "misguided" that Revan was truly male :O_o:

I mean, how insecure and frigthened of the thought of a female Revan, does someone have to be that they would continue to troll female Revan fandom nearly five years after Revan was canonically made male? I have nothing against male Revan fans, whether you're just going along with canon or escpecially if you've actually played the game that way. It's these annoying trolls that keep trying to "inform" me that Revan is male that really irritate me. Like they just can't stop gloating because they won (or as I like to think of it; Lucasart giving into the lowest common denominator).

Bottomline: when it comes to Revan, Lucasart fucked up. They just as easily could have kept Revan's gender a mystery the same way they've been keeping his face hidden. Bioware is doing that exact thing right now with Commander Shepard and (shocking to some) it's working! So I'm sure as hell not going to cater to that mistake. I'm prefectly fine with my Revan :D

So I hope this explains, or at least gives a better understanding to those who wonder why my Revan is and always will be female. And if it doesn't then you're one of the trolls I've been talking about.

I found myself with some freetime :w00t: (finished a commission, but another fell through, and 2 others are on hold :worry: ) so I decided to do some new drawings.

I just had to add my girl Mara  with my Luke pic.

I've been wanting to do a Mara/Luke pic for awhile now, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. And this set up gives me the option of adding Ben later ;) .

**** edit****

Just added Ben. The whole Skywalker family :D !!!

Seems like the only official picture of Ben is his picture on the cover of "Fury", but I couldn't use it because he all kind of ugly  . From stupid ugly to ***damn!!! The Ben fanart looked way better. Most artists gave him spikey hair or a crew cut, so I went a little in between. His hair is standing up a little but he's got a few bangs going, which turned out to look more like Luke's hair.

And the uniform I based on how Jacen's GAG uniform is discribed as being black and militaristic, so I gave it a little Imperial influence as well.

***edit - March 20, 08

Another update preview. I wanted to wait until I had finished coloring all of them, but it looks like that's going to be awhile still
But here are the base colors ;p

***added July 25, 2009

I did a little coloring to this pic while I was away. As you can tell, I barely got anything done. However I did redo Mara's lightsaber, the hilt looked a little too fat before (though Ben is blocking half of it). I'm probably going to redo Ben's lightsaber as well, doesn't look cool enough ;p

I also changed the title of the Deviation.

"Sorry, Skyguy," Ahsoka called. "I ran instead of sticking with you."
"Rotta's got to stay alive. You did right, Snips." Callous as it seemed, Anakin was also relieved that he didn't have an alert, panic-stricken Huttlet screaming blue murder as the laser rounds tore up the ground around him. "Getting shot when you don't have to isn't heroic, it's dumb."
Rex, skidding to a crouch beside him, slammed his hand down on top of Anakin's raised head. Laser rounds punched a shower of brick dust and rubble out of the wall above them. "Yes, sir, it is. Keep your kriffing head down."
"I can sense rounds coming, Rex."
"Okay, then do it to humor me."

Ok folks, I just literally fell in love with this book! And with Rex. x’3 I always liked him, but in this book he’s just too kriffing adorable!! Damn it, Rex! Stop being so cute! Stop it! >///<
You can’t imagine how much I worked on this pic… Dx Oh my sexy clone trooper… It was a nightmare to make this, but I really wanted to draw a good pic about this scene. Well, I’m not exactly satisfied (as usual) but I worked really hard.

Hmm this will be a little series. I wanted to make a simple sketch page about this theme, but I liked this one so I decided to color it properly etc... x3 If I can finish the other parts too I'll upload the full sketch page.
Yes as you can see Aira-ty really likes to make poor Jesp blush... x'DD You're too evil, girl... But I don't really know why tells she such things, she can be pretty weird sometimes... x'DD They are after a tiring and hard battle and she just wants some rest, but I can imagine a mandalorian or a clone trooper armor aren't too comfortable to sleep on, that's why the weird comment. x'3
Poor-poor Jesp... x'DD He's so cute he can't do anything with this woman just apologise for things that aren't even his faults... x'DD

I had an idea that Jabba's Rancor would sometimes go for an evening stroll around Tatooine - and on this occasion he found an AT-AT to play with. (Perhaps the AT-AT was there as part of the deployment sent to look for the two droids at the start of 'A New Hope'?)

When I originally envisaged this piece I thought I would draw it from a low angle - looking up at the Rancor climbing up the AT-AT's leg. But I decided that changing the angle so that the viewer can see the Imperial troops would be a good idea to add some more drama and humour. I'm glad I made the change - although it meant a lot more work drawing the characters - as well as trying to imagine what the roof of an AT-AT might look like if it was scrunched up!?

The first driver is so terrified he's about to jump straight off the top of the AT-AT to avoid being eaten - saying "I'm outta here!". The other driver's saying "Hold up - wait for me" - while the Commander won't abandon his post and is angrily shouting at the Rancor: "You there, stop that!"

This is an entirely original depiction of George Lucas's characters - drawn in Photoshop using a Wacom pad. I put a huge amount of effort into this - and I hope that comes across even in this low-res version (the original is 600dpi).

Hope you like!

If you’ve seen the first Star Wars movie (A New Hope) you might remember the scene with the Sandtroopers searching the desert of Tatooine for C-3PO and R2-D2. I thought it would be cool to imagine what it might look like if they also found a Krayt Dragon!

I tried to convey some drama in this picture – with the Krayt slamming the Dewback to the ground – but intentionally left it ambiguous enough that you can’t tell which way the battle will finish.

Perhaps the Imperials encountered the Krayt shortly after they arrived – and were able to take it down successfully and get back to their job? Or perhaps they’d already found the evidence of the droids and were on their way back to base when the Krayt attacked as some kind of act of cosmic karma?! I’ll leave it to you the viewer to decide.

We don’t get to see a Krayt Dragon in the film - other than a skeleton of one which C-3PO walks by - but the ‘expanded universe’ of stories adds some flesh to those bones. There are various depictions of the Krayt – but I wanted mine to look like a natural enemy of the Dewback which the Imperials ride on. I thought it should look ‘dragon-like’ - as the name suggests - and I also gave it aspects of a crocodile as I wanted it to look like a sturdy and powerful predator.

This is an entirely original depiction of George Lucas’s characters and was drawn in pencil first, the scanned and coloured in Photoshop using a Wacom pad. This is a compressed version of the original which is 600dpi.

Hope you like!

I've already posted other drawings of Darth Vader, but he's a popular character - and I like drawing him - so I thought it was time to do another!

I'd also been wanting to draw some TIE Fighter Pilots and thought up an idea so that I could include them with Vader in the same piece...

If you've seen the original Star Wars movie - you might remember the scene where Vader gets a couple of pilots to follow him into battle against the rebels. I couldn't help think that they took it a little too leisurely as they marched off round the corner like they were heading straight to the fridge for a snack. What they needed was a red flashing emergency light to generate some urgency! So here they are - red light on - and whadya know - they're all running to their ships now!

In reality I just made that up because I wanted to draw the characters in a dynamic pose - and with some red highlights (which always looks good against black). But I hope my little backstory helps sell the idea!

This is an original depiction of George Lucas's characters - drawn in Photoshop using a Wacom pad. I might put up a work-in-progress of this if anyone's interested because I took a couple of screenshots at various stages. You might also find it interesting that I used Google Sketchup to create a 3D model of the background to ensure that the perspective is right (after having sketched it out freehand first). This is a reduced resolution version of the original which is 600dpi.

Hope you like.

Flown by the legendary Silver Fyre's pirate squadrons, the heavily modified Arc-Wing Class fighter is heavily armed, heavily shielded, and heavily armored... unfortunatly, they're not as fast or as nimble as an X-wing, but with its shields and armor, she more than makes up for these deficients.
