The opening begins with a shot of the clouds in the sky and the sea before crossbones crop around it and turns solid. As the crossbones fade into a map of the Red Line and the Grand Line, the narrator begins the usual story.

It cuts to a Jolly Roger which zooms out to show countless other flags in the background.
"These words lured men into the Grand Line in pursuit of dreams greater than they'd ever dared to imagine. This time became known as the Great Pirate Era!"
As soon as the narrator finishes, the screen swipes to reveal Luffy as the camera swirls aorund him in his new clothes before panning to the sky.
