So i bought a lot of these..'fluffy' fabrics from China, and now its time to make something from it after sitting in my drawer for 3 weeks =_=! I decided to make something before my uni starts again.. which is tomorrow.. nooooo!! I wanted to try something small and this would be the tiniest cake i have ever made. I think this looks cake looks good but the french knots were a fail! I had to repeat so many times T_T.. well it was my first time anyways. I think i might continue to make some of these mini cakes and turn them into a charm and open my shop and sell them! muahahhaha!! This would look so cute on a phone ~
I've been so distracted trying to complete my own little craft projects that I completely forgot to make some special Valentines goodies but I hope this cupcake will make up for it
and as an extra special Valentine's Day gift I'm offering you all a very special 10% discount off any purchase in my Etsy Shop thoughout the whole of February all you have to do is enter the code BEMYVALENTINE at checkout and your discount will automatically be applied
Lately I've been trying to use up some of the many balls of yarn and when I originally stumbled across this colour I thought I would make another pig scarf but then decided it would make a cuter bunny instead
The bunnies always pull of the more unusual colours really well and it's been a long time since I last made some colourful ones, I'm also currently working on a candy coloured violet/lavender bunny scarf which should be up soon so keep an eye out for it
This star shaped "sugar cookie" necklace is covered in sugar sparkles and dripping with runny pink "chocolate" and topped with pastel "sprinkles"! Perfect for anyone who loves sweets, deco, lolita, and fairy kei!
The cookie charm is about 1" and strung on a 20" silver chain with a lobster clasp style closure and a matching blue bow. Bow and charm are handmade
And here we have the loveable fruit banana, in cute cube form! Sorry the lighting is poor, I don't really have a good spot to take pictures for all the different colored things I make. Was rather pleased with how he turned out
Please don't eat That would make banana sad.
He is 2" cubed, hand-sewn with thread, made of felt details with fleece sides and stuffed with Poly-Fil.
I finally finished my donut plushie! This is my first felt plushie. I adapted my donut design [link] This was a lot of fun to do and I'm already planning on making more with the intent to eventually sell these at cons and online in 2012. My friend says once I have more, I need to get a pink bakery box and take a pic with all of them inside
This is why I've been a bit silent on the digital art front lately - been crafting as fast and furious as I can to get inventory ready for Fanime, AX and my online shop launch.
I'm really happy with the way these turned out. Can't wait to finish them and do more!
These will be turned into necklaces once I get chain and some will be turned into sandwich cookies. These items will be sold under my crafts and lolita brand - Frosted Fleur de Lis. Here's the FB page if you want to stay on top of what's going on there. [link]
*Disclaimer: I also submitted this one to my account. So please don't report it - it's not stolen and they are not an art thief since it's also me, lol! In the future to prevent confusion, I will be submitting Frosted Fleur items there only. Feel free to follow that account if you would like to see more lolita and sweets hand crafted items.
Fufufufu~ Cake no. 2!! ♥♥ A Chocolate Banana cake! These are actually little boxes designed to hold jewelry, candy, accessories, etc! 100% handmade by me!!
Each slice is covered with felt, including three icing swirls, 3 banana slices, alternating yellow/brown sweets fabric interior, and two fancy ribbons to represent the inside of the cake!
They took.. SO.. LONG. I think 5-6 hours at LEAST for each slice. It was worth it though, I'm very happy with the results! Although, I don't want to make them again for a very very very very very long time.
