She is seldom here at the moment but nevertheless this is a gift for
It's here HTF-fan character Crunchy (the cannibalistic / meat eating bunny) (Culu's wife) and she probably asks "Why don't you stay for dinner?"
Must have been ages since I drew her and it made me nostalgically. Well things are changing always... but even if you know that it's sometimes sad to look back. Sadly but... I realized that I have lost many of my old friends from fan-art-central out of my eyes. Many went to other pages and with some I just don't know what to talk about today. However it was fun to draw Crunchy again.
Crunchy is btw. a good example, in my opinion, for a real creative fan-character. She isn't overloaded with too many details, her design is simple but for sure individual and she has her special charactersitic. I think she would fit into an official episode without any problems.
There are, btw. more fan-characters, of my long-time friends arround here, from them I could say the same. I think I had (have) the luck to be part of a "generation" of HTF-fans which had /have some very good creativity. They created characters with own life-stories and own special characteristics and they made them individual and likeable.
So enjoy this wonderful character of the "old HTF-fan-dome generation"
It must have been ages ago that I drew Crunchy and Culu in a "lovely" moment between wife and husband. So I thought it would be the right time now to do something like that finally again. I still like it to draw them together.
Oh and for everyone who doesn't know it yet: Crunchy IS NOT my creation. Crunchy belongs to another great artist and you can find her here:
If you have time take a look at her works. She is awesome.
I just wondered "How did Crunchy ever discover her appetite for the meat of other HTFs ?" And after asking that I remembered this episode in instant and thought: yes of course she could have visit Lumpy's shop too in this episode. So I drew her into the scene instead of Petunia. Does this makes sense?
some doodles I did pretty much directly after watching the first episode of the new season. Hopefully its been long enough that I'm not spoilering anyone 8I; Discordia was pretty fun to design, but she takes a while to draw, hahaha
Bubble Berry. C: ....I honestly got nothing, I think the genderbent Mane Six are cute and then there's the crazy version of Pinkie so I was all "Genderbent crazy Pinkie!" And then I drew him human and ugh. I'm in a kind of weird mindset lately, I don't usually get all dark and bloody. It's just red food colouring okay kids?! The rubber gloves are for hygiene. This is a really rubbish drawing but I'm feeling a bit crap at the moment so bleh. I was mainly messing around with the marker tool in SAI. P.s It's hard to find anything scary when it has pink hair, but I tried my best to make him look menacing at least. |D I'll just be drawing horrible things forever now to make you all feel uncomfortable mwa ha ha!
EDIT: Woah! Thanks for all these faves! I didn't expect this to be my most faved piece of work, it's pretty surprising but I'm glad you guys like it so much!
EDIT2: I actually feel guilty that I put so little effort into this piece when it's received so much attention, so I kinda sorta changed the line work on his face because it looked awful before. I hope it actually is an improvement, it reflects more how I'm drawing now so I guess I feel a little better about it :/ Thanks again!
Here's just a little drawing I had in my new sketchbook, is of the humanized Dash, and then Blitz her genderbent version of rainbow dash . The colors were so much fun, and man her hair was hard, but fun. XD Just thought I should upload something traditional, with my copics.
..man the genderbent verisons of the mane six are hot owo...cough cough...

Genderbent versions of my human Mane 6 and Spike, based on *Trotsworth's "Wrong Spell" works. I decided to just leave Elijah (Elusive)'s surname as Belle, even though "Elijah Belle" doesn't have quite the ring to it as "Charity Belle"...
As ~anname219 pointed out in a comment on the sketch version, I made Barbara's gaze point towards Elijah. Completely unintentional, but it works!
Should be obvious what this is all about. Applebloom as a boy. Because. The rest of the crusaders will also be victims of subjects for some genderbending. Actually, they already are. This sketch is a few months old.
His name, Appleseed, is based on the name Applebloom was originally going to be given. However, because of copywrite issues, they went with Applebloom instead.
I love gap teeth.

His shading is terrible and he's my least favorite of the sketches, but DAMN I like how his mane came out.
I bet he sounds like a choir boy.

I thought Scooter would be a bit lazy, and I couldn't think of anything else because I suck at giving things names. So his name is Beeline.
