I thought of drawing Aria some time ago. And then her fan arts started to appear. Lots of them. Lol. Anyway, I started this one before leaving for holidays, and now tried to finish it. Took much too long. To be honest, I don't really like this character. I've got the feeling that the whole point of Aria is to show how bad-ass she is. Yes, yes, you are bad-ass and now get out of my way, I've got the universe to save...
References from =Troodon80 are always the great help.
D'oh, bluh. S'Wednesday, and Corel Painter decided today would be the perfect day to me uncooperative mess! Did what I could to bring the presentable Wednesday offering, but even without Painter being snippy I don't think this guy is going anywhere else. Meh!
Why this? Why this random blue Salarian, with a pocketwatch? No real reason, just had the urge to make somebody who was a crazy shade of blue. A salarian could be! Maybe? Maybe a very ill salarian? Possibly!
Also, a recent investigative inquiry has revealed that he almost certainly smells like waffles.
Also maaaan this isn't even in the same sector as what I should be doing oh gee why I am so slackery? D'OH.
Salarians are from Mass Effect belongs to Bioware.
Here, have this and stop whining I don't put anything on dA
My Asari sniper known as Wraith from Mass Effect-based RP. And yes, I know infiltrators are soldier/engineer mix, but its an Asari. All of them are biotics, stronger or weaker. W. is more into tech. No, that's not her name, nobody knows shit about her, she never says a word and is some kind of mercenary on Omega. Yus.
I'm still not sure about this armor, but I kinda like the boots x_X
Welp, you all wanted some Mass Effect art - so here you go!
......what do you mean Alice Kingsleigh isn't a Mass Effect character? /trollface
Been wanting to do this for quite a while actually, ever since we got the Blood Dragon Armor in Mass Effect 2. The original idea was simply to draw her in that armor with a few minor changes, but when I actually came to do it, I decided to go the whole nine yards and do a full redesign of Alice's armor to make it fit with the Mass Effect universe.
I used the Blood Dragon Armor for inspiration on how to adapt certain parts - after all, that too is a Mass Effect version of medieval armor - but only the stomach area was really referenced directly.
Couldn't resist adapting the omni-blade to feature the Vorpal Sword design, and of course it required a colour change to match the sword's bluey-green detailing.
Hope you all like it
Oh and if you want to reblog it on Tumblr, you can do so from here - [link]
She's back! Ten months since the last pic, and she's definitely looking all the better for it.
Originally you weren't going to be seeing this pic so soon, but I've come down with a pretty nasty cold - so when I'm not sneezing, my hands are still pretty shaky - meaning it was very difficult to continue with the line-art of my current commission.
So, not wanting to waste time, I carried on with this - as shading requires far less hand stability. And in the end, I got it finished. Hadn't planned to really, but now it's out of the way, I can focus entirely on commission work.
This is the first picture of Freya that I really think does her justice, so I hope you all approve

Another commission for virtualmorrigan. Saren from Mass Effect.
I was feeling a little adventurous... and this was the result. I'll have to thank my patron for giving me such free rein on the layout. I'm not sure if Saren is looking angry enough, so I will probably fiddle with this longer. But I'd say it's 99.8% done.
