Older work from mid 2012. I created this concept as part of a character modeling class. I've finished the 3D modeling stage and am mostly through the texturing stage. Screens of the 3d model/Zsculpt to come soon.
Here's a roleplaying character I created for a private commission. The character is a knight, I had to influence her costume with a 'Roman' feel with some room for my own imagination. I created the character in Photoshop.
This is a female roleplaying character I was commissioned to create for a client. She comes from an environment of ice and snow. My first pass had her with for animal fur to survive her environment. The client wanted to see more of her form and dynamics.
She is human although she has some 'giant' in her blood line from generations ago. The brief stated that she had to be athletic, strong although still feminine. It was tricky to get the balance as she also needed to have a slight hardness to her jaw bones and cheeks. This was her only indication to her 'giant' Ancestory. I had to be careful as it is very easy to make her look too masculine when playing with the jaw line.
