It was all back to darkness, a mixture of feelings and a confusion of sensations.
Jessica didn't know whether to feel cold, or hot, or wet, or dry, or scared, or tired, or curious.
Her mind felt like it had been flushed down the toilet, then fished out only to be flushed again, then again that was probably the most pleasant example she could come up with at the moment, but there was so much the mind could do when it felt in such a way.
Could have been a whirlwind, yeah, a whirlwind sounded a LOT better than a toilet, definitely.
Slowly her sensations tried to work together, her sense of touch came first, but there wasn't much that she could make out of it, smooth and sort of comfortable...she guessed. The floor maybe? Nope...not that hard, but not much softer either...more like...rubber, yeah, it felt kind of like very hard rubber.
Why was she lying on rubber? No, never mind, the mind doesn't get to work yet, first came the senses, then her mind could try to make some logic out of it.

Jessica had woken up later, still in Jazz's arms being held carefully by the seemingly offline mech. The medbay was dark, only emergency lights were on. She carefully moved near his face and waved an arm in front of his visor, no reaction.
Good, then he wasn't conscious enough to see her, the other mech, Prowl was unmoving, so he probably was out of it as well.
This was a time as good as any, she slowly made her way out of Jazz's arms, slipping onto the berth and then hurrying to its edge, looking down. She frowned, it was a long way down... searching for the bars holding the berth up she held onto one and slid all the way down safely.
Giving a cautious glance around she ran across the large room, searching for the right door, because there happened to be many of those... finally she saw the exit sign over one of them and ran over. However a problem imposed... the button to open the automatic door was waaaayyy up there, and she was wayyyy down there.

So far my life had been considerably easy, I was born from good creators, with kind sparks, who gave me everything I needed to be happy.
I was a good student, always getting good marks and behaving, nothing really out of the ordinary. The only thing out of it was my lack of social skills with other mechs. The femmes although still younglings, would often give me appreciative glances but apparently my fame for being anti social was keeping them at bay, well not that it mattered that much, I wasn't really interested in femmes yet.
You see in my life I have only one drive, one objective, one tiny piece of action that could make my spark feel livelier than any other time.
I wanted to be a racer. Yep, the name's blurr, and currently I am sitting in the living room chair, staring up at my two creators and considering to check if my audios were mal-functioning.
My life was taking a sharp turn around the corner. This couldn't be happening to me, this ruined everythin

Okay I was wrong about the whole sparkling situation not being a bad thing. It was a nightmare!
Once we got settled back at home the two femmes were wide awake, it so happened that the red femme, who I had held before was an active and courageous little one with absolutely no sense of danger or fear. Whenever she could she would try to climb her way up my fathers alt mode window and poke her head out to see. This femme we decided to call Flamer and it seemed she was going to live up to her name with the amount of danger she put herself in, it was also in honour of our father Hotheel.
Her indigo blue twin however was the quieter type, contemplating on what her sister was doing before following her, although she usually did even if it was still illogical.
She was also very sensitive and would respond more accurately to social skills.
She had learned to crawl before her sister and actually taught her how to do it with their own sparkling language. So in light of her abnormal intelli

Jessie glared out the window until she was sure the suspicious cop car was out of sight, once again he had eluded her. He had been following her around for months, as far as she knew, because at least she only noticed him then.
It was a strange thing, usually patrol cars were well, on patrol, not parked all the time where ever you found yourself at, especially when you went out of town on camping trips and the like.
She was beginning to consider going to the police station and enquiring them about it.
But not he was gone, as usual, she might as well get herself ready, her bag was neatly packed already.
Quickly tying her hair in a long pony tail behind her she grabbed the bag and silently crept out of the house. Everyone was still asleep; it was seven AM after all.

It was a cloudy and solemnly gray day, the heat of the summer was still there but the cold wind would often remind him of the incoming threat of rain.
The streets were calm, as they usually were every morning in that district; it was after all a good neighborhood, peaceful, rarely ever reporting a serious disturbance, other than the occasional stray dog picking a fight with an owner's dog, or children playing where they shouldn't, namely their neighbor's yards.
Prowl shifted on his tires, wishing he could just transform and stretch for a few minutes, but for that he would have to back away a long way so no one would see him, and he was determined not to lose a single moment parked in that street.

Some people are afraid of spiders, others are afraid of guns. Some people are mortally afraid of the silliest things things that can never harm them, like worms or darkness. But one fear that she suspected to lie at the core of every human being was the fear of death. The fear of total oblivion the fear of the Void.

"What is it, Ratchet?" asked Optimus, crossing the Autobot command centre. Bumblebee and Bulkhead walked alongside him toward the monitors, shoulders seating their respective humans, faceplates muddled with curiosity as they approached the medic.
"I detected an odd transmission in the early hours of the morning," Ratchet began, gesturing a hand importantly. Stretched across the screen behind him was a graphic depicting an audio sample; one whose chaotic tangle of frequencies resembled a digital forest of scrambled information. "I was unable to perform a location scan before it disappeared, but I was able to record it."
Optimus came to a halt beside the medic, raising his optics to the monitor as he gave a single nod of the head. On receiving his consent, Ratchet tapped a key beneath the display. A strange sound burst through the command centre loud and high-pitched, like

"Great that's just great," sighed Sam. He sank onto the cluttered bench in his garage, running a frustrated hand through his hair as he stared out across the rain-drenched yard. "The second I get my car back from the wash, the heavens decide to open. Who knows what kind of garbage is in the atmosphere? It's probably full of sand from that storm in the desert a few weeks ago I don't want you getting all dirty again right after I paid good money to have you cleaned up."
Sitting on the floor beside him, hunched over but still filling most of the garage nonetheless, Bumblebee gave a dry whining sound through his semi-functional vocal processors. In all honesty, he couldn't care less about the weather his friend's well-being and happiness took priority over all else. He watched Sam glower out at the downpour, studying the human's disheartened posture in concern.

A strange numbness filled his frame; through the haze of paralysis, he sent signals to various parts of his body in attempt to learn how badly he was damaged. His processor received no response.
As he regained a slanted grip of consciousness, he tried to recall the last handful of stimuli that had passed through his sensory receptors before slipping into stasis lock. He remembered a sudden surge of pain, a powerful electric current, ripping through his circuits. Hazily, arduously, the memory of pushing his partner out of harm's way swam to mind. That's right those humans tried to fire some sort of weapon at Knock Out. The shot must have hit me instead, he thought thickly.

But that feeling terrifying as it was was pretty insignificant compared to how she felt now in the Autobots' base.

They looked nothing like her father with his chubby body and snail-like movements. These cats were moved like lightning, especially that one cat.

"The femme had a sparkling with her." Ratchet's spark stopped.
"Where is it...."
"Where's the slaggin' sparkling!"
"O-Out in the waiting room.... it's the only place we could keep him for now."
Ratchet exited, the group following, and headed to the room. He found the spark

Ratchet punched in the code quickly, grabbing a slowly sliding Perceptor, and entered his apartment.
Ok This is where I live and where you are going to stay. said Ratchet, the lights flickering on. Perceptors grip tightened as he looked around the unfamiliar space. He was placed on a small chair and let out a small whimper of fear. Ratchet placed a comforting hand on Perceptors helm.
Dont worry, Im just going to the other room to grab some energon. Ratchet placed a small bag on the ground. It was handed to him as he was leaving, the mech said the objects in the bag would comfort Perceptor.
Leaving the bag open, Ratchet entered the second room. He filled two cubes, placing a cover with a small opening, when he suddenly heard a loud squeak followed by a giggle in the other room. He found Perceptor had already riffled threw the bag and had discovered and light-blue, droplet shaped plushy. Perceptor would push the middle, the

Its only a picture, shes not really there. Ratchet said, hoping he sounded happy even though the sparklings sadness was seeping through. Desperate to grab something, Perceptor continually reached out, his optics welling up, until Ratchet placed the holo-picture down and held Perceptor closer.
Im sorry shes gone. But Im here and Im not going anywhere. As if to prove his point, the holo-picture turned off, the femme disappearing. Bewildered, Perceptor quickly faced Ratchet and saw him still there.

Good sparkling, dont talk back.
The dark hallway opened up to another dark room. Perceptor was forced into a chair, energon bonds tied to his wrists and legs. He whimpered and struggled, receiving another painful yank to the wire.
Sir, transmission coming in.
Good, put it threw.
There was a few seconds of static, then the picture cleared. The screen showed a somber looking mech. His helm was

Ratchet's head was pounding, he couldn't move.
"It's alright friend, the sparklings here."
He turned on his optics; his arms and legs were tied together with energon bonds.
His head was forced up; the mech was holding Perceptor, stroking his cheek, smirking. Tears continually being brushed away, Perceptor was struggling to get to Ratchet.

Babysit 5Ratchet knew Perceptor had a curious spark, but his intelligence was another story. Whenever Perceptor meet someone new, he'd gesture for paper and pen. Ratchet asked why, Perceptor would merely say "Movement." Apparently, Perceptor could tell a mech's personality by their gestures to get the material. Ratchet, for example, was authoritative but didn't forcefully yank that pad away so he was also in charge so no one would disagree with him. Perceptor wouldn't talk a lot for the fact he would listen and pick up words easier than any sparkling (thankfully for Ratchet, none of them had been curse). But Perceptor's vocal wasn't fully developed, so he could only say three to four words total.Babysit 5 in Fan Fiction More Like This
"Ratchet treat!" Perceptor, being carried, reached towards an energon stand.
"Alright, alright, we'll get something. But, we're sharing."
They sat down, Perceptor in Ratchet's lap, waiting for their ride home. Ratchet would reach in the small bag and hand one small circular energon goodie to Perceptor.
Babysit 3Ratchet had known many sparklings in his life, but he had never known one like Perceptor. He was able to put himself in the most peculiar situations due to the fact, Ratchet noticed, that Perceptor had a very curious spark. Ratchet could also note when Perceptor liked something or not, each discovery earning its own look of approval or frown of dislike. Perceptor was also very sensitive for a sparkling and took things far too seriously; Ratchet only had to raise his voice slightly before Perceptor would burst into tears. He was also conscious whenever he felt he had done something wrong and Ratchet had to come to the rescue, saying Perceptor was fine and not to worry.

Ratchet didn't answer; he thanked Dragonfly and quicky walked hom, Perceptor still in recharge. Punching his code, Ratchet noticed a small data pad on his door.
He reached up, yanked it off, and hurried inside. Holding Perceptor close, Ratchet turned on the data pad:

Chapter 1: The Battle
When we are faced with decisions in our lives, we have to make a choice whether that choice is justified 'right' or 'wrong' by others is meaningless; as long as it's right by you. Our lives are precious considering we are only given one. So the question we are forced to ask ourselves is this; What are you going to do with your life now, if you know it will change your life in the future even if we don't know if that change is going to be good or bad?
Optimus stood at a stand-still facing his arch enemy Megatron, neither one of them giving in to the other's will.
The battle was fierce

The sound of rain could be heard through the walls of the large building that Jackie lived in. Lightning flashed and thunder rolled. Shaking her head Jackie laughed playfully.
"So much for this being desert country."
Jackie's keys jingled as she unlocked the door. She shoved it open carrying groceries in her hand that she HAD been purchasing at the time when she saw Optimus in the busy intersection. She had offered him a place to sleep for the night but was going to be damned if he didn't at least earn his keep while he was here. On that note, he too was cautiously carrying a bag full of groceries as well.
As she opened the door a unique aroma wafted the air as Optimus entered the small apartment behind Jackie. The television was on with a young boy playing video games.
The apartment was small but sufficient.
The immediate room they entered was what Optimus guessed was what humans called a 'living-room'. Farther in through an open door

How could this be?
How could I have become human?
How is this even possible?
What happened to my armor?
What happened to my troops?
WHAT HAPPENED TO ME?!
Question after question flooded his processor as he emptily stared into the glass, seeing only a human man staring back.
He was tall, broad chested and worn. The years on him showed that he had been through some rough times. He was a large Caucasian with dark black hair and mustache and wide, dark sapphire blue eyes.
Looking away from the window, Optimus slowly let his gaze move to his hands, which strangely were shaking. They were the hands of human who worked. Old, worn out, cut, bruised and callused.
Moving his hands to his cloths, still looking at the refection he took into careful detail of the fabric he now bore on his body. A casual red plaid t-shirt. Tight blue boot cut pants. "No, mom said he was only staying the night; and it's morning now so "
"But he can't go, I like him!"

Voices were all around him as he slowly came online.

"Then what are we waiting for, let's get out of here!"
As Optimus' eyes slowly opened, he could barely see a flash of purple and blue streak out of the room, but then the purple came back. "Hi Opmus!"
Sitting up, Optimus could clearly see that it was Kira in her purple sports jersey that was obviously too big for her and hung over her knees.

Years had passed since that day out in the isolated fields of California.
Barricade's punishment was gruesome compared to anything that a human could withstand but with Barricade's message from Prime received by Megatron a new challenge arose but that was the least of Prime's worries. And it would remain that way for a length of time.
Five long years had passed since the retrieval of Kayda from Decepticon grip. In that time she learned many things how to talk, how to walk and how to be more independent. She was maturing just as Ratchet had predicted. More than likely she would mature to an adult physically in no less than 60 human years that was as long as her frame continued to adapt to the new armor upgrades with every passing year.
On that particular day, five years later the base was humming with activity. Soldiers had come and gone but most everything had stayed the same with the exception of Kayda of cou

Optimus looked up at Ratchet curiously. "Ratchet, what'd you do?"

Diego Garcia was quiet as grey sky's loomed with its depressing mist falling slowly from the clouds.
It had been quite some time since Prime's 'blow-up' which he had made a full recovery on. But still seemed off.
With his optic shudders closed, Prime sat still at his desk; face resting in his palms. He remained still as the sound of a soft mist sprinkled against the roof of the hanger. He couldn't help but let his mind wander. Four words streamed through his already crowded processor.
It's been too long.
Two weeks is how long it's been two weeks since he's been with Kayda since he's held her since he's cuddled with her since he's felt her love in his spark.
Looking up and leaning back in his chair, the massive mech let out a steady groan before rubbing his optics.
Why was he letting this bother him? Kayda was fine. She was with Bumblebee at the security of Sam's acreage (wherever THAT may be), she was no longer
