It was interesting. I wondered about it for a while.

Eve, for example, was tempted by an apple and the voice of a handsome snake. So persuasive that snake: so sly and silky, picking the angel Eve from her sweet Eden as easy as plucking a blackberry off of a thorn-less bush. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
Moriarty could relate to the snake. It was a wonderful creature; he'd taken notes, pretending to be on the side of the angels when really it still had a toe in the devil's parlour, keeping its place at the head of the table in time for tea. As he sat in his hideout, Moriarty smile to himself. How foolish people can be, he thought. How quaint. Aren't they funny?
The computer that perched at his fingertips glowed, the screen still active. It was uploading something. A series of zeroes and ones streamed like a waterfall: green on a black screen. BreatheA hand lain on your silken skin,Breathe in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
for all I need is to be close
to drink your scent down deep within
and know that I'm the one you chose.
To touch the heat that fills your veins
and watch you in your peaceful sleep,
to hope that I might have some claim
on those sweet thoughts of which you dream.
This much, alone, enough for me:
to know you're close, and feel you breathe.

Since then life's bittersweet
Cold seeped into my life force
This engendered great remorse.
History coloured many days
Odd wondrous moments enjoyed
Benjamin Disraeli kissed my hand
His charm I managed to withstand.
Was presented at Russian court
Dressed in white my favour's sort
More than a few felt tempted to bite
Kept my fangs well out of sight.
My likeness painted by Vermeer
Gossamer veil so very sheer
Such dedication to his art
Sadness felt when we did part.
Bonaparte, Corsican upstart
Eventually exiled to Elba
Dined on him, his blood so thin
Clear to me he would not win.
Music was constant delight
Dinner with Mozart, one dark night
He was oblivious to fond farewell
Decided to look up Raphael
Life of change, one wish denied
Should love to turn back time
Not possible - it's torture for me
So many people would disagree.

*Lawn Mower*Abandoned in garden shed*Lawn Mower* in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
Winter months neglected
Stark moment, bleak
Dreaming perhaps of summer.
Dried grass clings to rusty blades
Remember sun-kissed weather
Months until conditions change
Cold wooden shed, shiver.
Memories linger, perfect day
Gardened and cut lawn
How to forget emerald smell?
Waiting winters end, mourn.

Ancient smell of stone
Echoes of eternity
Departed lie alone.
Crusader, sword on breast
Battle stare in eye
Warrior dressed, chain mail vest
Heraldic sword held high.
His lady lies beside him
Wimple draped in folds
Lips suggest latent smile
Her story should be told.
Ancient mystery surrounds
Forgotten now, untold
Crusader dead in Jerusalem
Young man, in prime, not old.
His lady mourned alone
Admired for stoic resolve
Mortality faced with little fear
Place of rest, eternities bier.

Some people swerve through life wearing thin spots into their souls while trying to suck the souls out of others. Eventually, this will rest on their conscience. The rest of the world will look like an angry mob coming for them. If you gamble with the devil, you will lose every time.
Careless souls suffer. Whether it be a sign of a new day or just a passage of time, what you harness has the ability to pick things up, to possess your soul with light. So is the plight of the being.

Cheating FateSherlock isn't sure what he thinks when he sees a man in a brown coat and suit walking alone on an empty Baker street from his window. He wonders why the other is alone during the holiday season. He looks like he'd be the type to have a girlfriend or spend Christmas with his family.Cheating Fate in General Fiction More Like This
He tries to read the other; he tries to deduce at least something from the man's life, as he has piqued Sherlock's interest.
Sherlock flees the party in order to get a better look at the stranger. He's an odd man. Sherlock can't read anything from him, and he feels disturbed. There have been very few people he cannot read, and he dislikes letting the number rise above oneor two, actually, if he counts a certain time travelling alien.
The man is pacing across the street, muttering to himself and making gestures to the air. It's like he's talking to someone, but Sherlock is sure the man knows there's no one to talk to. Then he spots Sherlock, and Sherlock gazes at him impassively. The man is tall, with
