First time we wore our our Disney cosplays was for Toycon 2011:
The weekend after, a few of us got together to do a studio shoot because we were just excited, and I wanted to finally try out a pseudo movie poster photo treatment for cosplay photos. It was definitely a challenge. But it made me really happy to show my friends how the final images turned out.

Just to be absolutely clear, I do not think the views make me any better than anyone else. I mean, I'm sure some of those are from people who don't even like me. But I guess my point is that it's crazy to imagine that this page has been opened up that many times, and I can't help wondering where all these hits have come from. And I just feel so grateful that a select few people in those millions have come to be irreplaceable friends to me.
It's been a wild ride with all of you guys through all this time. To me this isn't just a page where I simply showcase my artwork or the cosplay photos my friends and I come up with. This site has opened up so many opportunities for me, and has introduced me to some of the most wonderful people I've met in my life.
It's been a journey, and my interactions with the people here have taught me more than I can express.

The ugly side of the cosplay communityI wasn't going to write about this, because my sis and I don't care about people who spend their time posting hateful comments about cosplayers. Though, I like to share my thoughts with you all. I've heard and seen the cosplay group I was with, The iDOLM@STER, was featured in sites where many commented negatively. You all have probably seen it, people whine about anything like how the cosplayers look, the way they sew, the way they pose, etc... "Omg it's not perfect!" Who in this world is perfect? No one. For instance, I can't help it, but I like to make derp looks in photos XD
One of the main points they bring up on cosplayers is their looks. When I was young I was stupid. I was very critical about myself and everything that happened around me. All of that has changed though. I have a scar across my belly and I bet many girls wouldn't want that, but the scar means a lot to me. It reminds me that I was near death and the doctors

EDIT: Many people have been asking me on how I made Serah's part 2 outfit. I've said I won't make a tutorial, but I'll give out helpful tips. I don't feel like explaining the way I made things over and over again, so I'll lead people here and I hope it'll be helpful. I'll be updating this journal whenever I add new details. I'll be remaking my outfit for better accuracy.

I used a milkshake wig and it was styled with hairspray, but I bought a new wig that's much longer.

DollyEye Blue and Serah WigI love the new wig I got for Serah, my old wig was too short. The wig has light pink, dark pink, and light brown strands, similar to my old one. It's heat resistant which is a major plus when styling. A friend of mine in DA bought her Serah wig from the same seller, but her wig is very light pink. I'm not sure if I got lucky in getting this color, so I wouldn't recommend this seller I got this wig from.DollyEye Blue and Serah Wig in Personal More Like This
I also got DollyEye Blue contact lense from DollyEye http://www.thedollyeye.com/catalog.php?category=90 , they were on sale so I had to get them. I like that they are vibrant and have a black rim around the blue.

I used Stretch Hemp Rayon 2 x 1 Rib Knit Natural fabric. It's very stretchy and has a snugly fit to the body, no zipper was used for this outfit. I lined the dress with the same rib knit fabric and I connected the hood to the dress. The hood is lined with Kona Cotton Peach fabric. The peach looking arrow detailing on the hood was ironed on with heat n' bond. I connected the peach bow on the middle of where the hood starts. Th
