I realized that some anonymous kind soul has extended my premium membership. I hope that X person enjoys this one :thanks::highfive:

Canadian actor and comedian. He has received two Golden Globe Awards and has also been nominated on four occasions. Having had little success in television movies and several low-budget films, Carrey was cast as the title character in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective which premiered in February, 1994, making more than $72 million domestically despite receiving mixed critical reception. The film spawned a sequel, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (1995), in which he reprised the role of Ventura. High profile roles followed when he was cast as Stanley Ipkiss in The Mask (1994) for which he gained a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy, and as Lloyd Christmas in the comedy film Dumb and Dumber.

Between 1996 and 1999, Carrey continued his success after earning lead roles in several highly popular films including The Cable Guy (1996), Liar Liar (1997), in which he was nominated for another Golden Globe Award and in the critically acclaimed films The Truman Show and Man on the Moon, in 1998 and 1999, respectively. Both films earned Carrey Golden Globe awards. Since earning both awards, Carrey continued to star in comedy films, including How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) where he played the title character, Bruce Almighty (2003) where he portrayed the role of unlucky TV reporter Bruce Nolan, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events (2004), Fun with Dick and Jane (2005), Yes Man (2008), and A Christmas Carol (2009). Carrey has also taken on more serious roles including Joel Barish in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004) alongside Kate Winslet and Kirsten Dunst, which earned him another Golden Globe nomination, and Steven Jay Russell in I Love You Phillip Morris (2009) alongside Ewan McGregor.

Well, a portrait of a muse is always a challenge. Her expression is outstanding of every perspective, and make errors in her lip lines or the ondulations of her body or even her face just destroy such beautiful. So this drawing was a challenge from start to finish, just to keep her expression and all the fidelity of the original photo. From my hands to your appreciation, I give you... Marilyn Monroe :D

A LITTLE NOTE AND SOME INFO - I've had several people ask how I got the black so black, I actually get this question all the time, so I thought if I did it in a video it might be a good idea :) The video isn't the best, but you can see what's going on, it was a livestream so it stops and starts a little bit :( I'm redrawing part of the left side glove. The pencils I used were, in this order, 2H, 2B, 4B and 6B.

For the draw-along-contest with :iconanneruthh:. She didn't start yet, but I'm finished and I couldn't wait to submit it here :']

This time I really have no idea how long I've spent to draw this... But I guess about 7 hours? Or maybe 9? Something like that.

I hope you like it! Tell me! Give me critique! I want to improve so I would love to hear what your advice is.

And of course I want to thank :iconineedchemicalx: for let us use her picture! Here it is:[link]

This is my version of this photograph: :iconzieniu:

I wanted to draw something in a minimal-style for a while, and now I did it! I know the photo I made from it isn't that good, but the scan wasn't either -.-

I only used my mechanical pencil HB, and of course a (pencil)eraser.

I reallyreally want to hear what you think of it, please give me some feedback!
