The notes quickly hit my brain and my fingers moved the right directions. The notes were coming perfectly. Adam sang along with the song. I could barely hear him, though, the earplugs were tight in my ears. I could make out the "So hot, out the box, can we pick up the pace?" from the beginning of "For Your Entertainment." But his voice surprised me. He sounded really different from the recording.
He started to make the notes a little dramatic. Oh, Adam, not at the AMA's! I continued playing, and Adam got a little off the hook. He grabbed one of the backup dancers and shoved his face... down there. This can't be good. Not right before his new album.
They did talk the night before and Adam said he wanted shocked faces and he was going to do a few things. I asked him what, and he just gave me his little smile, and said to me: "You'll see."
He started to make his way up to me, still doing things that wouldn't please the mothers of little kids who loved him

The bed rocked gently back and forth. Slender fingers twitched slightly, and eyes fluttered open. Deep brown irises were painted golden by the dim morning light pouring through the small window facing him. He sat up slowly, his jaws stretching to their full extent in a yawn. He blinked his eyes a few times, arched his back, and swung his feet over the side of the bed, feeling the rough carpet.
I clicked open my suitcase, pulling out a new outfit for the day. I hummed gently to myself, sliding off my undergarments and changing them. I finished buttoning my vest, then went to the sink, splashing some cool water onto my face and getting rid of any make-up remains from the night before. After our passionate kiss, Adam walked me to me to my cabin and kissed me gently. I watched him walk down the halls and back to his own cabin, down in 3rd class.
I couldn't wait to see him again.
I opened the door quickly, turning down the hallway. I had to find him. It was 9 a.m. now, and I

"Tommy," I whispered, stepping closer to him. The violent winds of the Atlantic ruffled his dress and hair, but he was still beautiful. Our perfect life in New York was over. Tommy would move on, live his life to the fullest. I knew the truth. Women and children were first, then some first-class men. But a third-class man had no choice. He would die. I couldn't dress up again and get myself out. The lives of the woman and children mattered more than my own, and space on lifeboats was limited.
I was going to die.
"A-Adam," Tommy stammered, his eyes bleary with tears. "N-No... I won't go if you don't come with me... I don't want to live if you're not there beside me..." I felt my heart rip in two. Panicked people rushed by us, rushing their kids to the lifeboats and husbands saying their goodbyes to their wives. Crew members started to flood around us, shouting orders and undoing the ropes to loosen the boats and get them ready to go into the water. I bit my lip, clenched

As quickly as it came, the earthquake was gone, as if it never happened. The streets went deadly silent for a heartbeat before cars started honking, wheels squeaking against the pavement, the low murmur of people's voices as they approached the mass of crumbled up concrete that was, only seconds ago, a coffee shop, with people inside, drinking their favorite brewed drink.
I slowly shifted against Tommy, sitting up and gazing down at him. I felt his hands gripping my back, and he blushed, letting go of me and scrambling out from under me. I stood up and rubbed the back of my neck, and looked at him as he stood. His brown eyes met mine, and they were shimmering slightly. A puff of breath rushed past his lips, and he blinked in surprise.
"You... You saved my life, Adam..." Tommy whispered, and my heart was racing so fast I had no idea what the hell had just happened. I turned slightly, looking behind us and seeing the shop. Chills snuck their way up my arms and down my s

I stepped out of my room, a stupid grin on my face. My hair styled perfectly to the side, a simple, fashionable, black tuxedo hugging my torso. My heart beat quickly as I headed down the hallways, taking quick steps. I passed a girl in a blue dress, who was humming a happy tune. Our hair was quite similar, and she seemed just as joyful as I was. Maybe she was meeting up with her lover as well?
I finally reached the breath-taking Grand Staircase, where I paused and looked up, just to see the sky above. It was gorgeous, and no matter how many times you went by it, you had to stop and stare, just for a moment. I looked to the grand clock beside my head. Exactly 11:15 a.m., I was right on time! I smiled happily and looked around. Immediately, I spotted an even more breath-taking, heart-stopping sight than the Grand Staircase. A gorgeous, well built, tall man, with black hair swooping to the side, gently framing his perfectly shaped face and complimenting his absolutely stunning

I sat in front of the large mirror, humming softly to myself. I brought a pearl comb through my long, blond bangs, my legs crossed in a feminine fashion. Today, I wore a sky-blue, shoulder-less dress, with sheer, beige leggings and shiny black flats. I wore elbow-length, white, cotton gloves that covered my fingers, and around my neck was a golden chain with a key at the end. The key was tiny, and made completely of small diamonds lined with gold. It rested upon my pale chest, shining slightly with every move.
I set the comb down onto the vanity, looking over my hair in the mirror. I smiled a bit and continued to hum, spinning in a circle and dancing to the bathroom, where I stood to admire my long dress, which ended at my knees. I then leaned over, grabbing my small, white, handheld purse and leaving the room, still humming. It was the morning of April 11th. I nearly skipped down the hallways of the ship, happiness fluttering in my heart. The ship was docked on

I looked around wearily. There was so much steam, I almost couldn't see. I stepped forward, only to meet the rim of the bath, and then I saw. It was gigantic! It was the size of a huge pool, but filled with steamy hot water. I looked up, seeing a silhouette against the steam. And I knew who it was. I blushed as Adam's face came into view, and he smirked and nodded slightly. He had no shirt on... he was so muscular. The thin layer of sweat on his smooth, freckled skin made him look sexier...
I tried hiding my red face as I slid off my shirt, tossing it onto one of the chairs. I felt Adam's icy stare on me, not moving as I let the towel fall from my hips. Heat flooded through my body, and I got into the water as quick as I could, sinking down so that the water lapped at my collarbones. I swam over to Adam and sat down on the ledge next to him, blushing terribly, and he saw it.
"You came," He murmured, turning to look at me. I tilted my head to the side slightly, meeting his

Chapter 28: Salty Waters
My powerful paws thundered the ground as I sprinted across a long field of flowing grass. I felt the fiery energy burning through my legs as I picked up the speed, my eyes narrowing in determination. A song in a different kind Twoleg language was on repeat in my ears; I couldn't even understand what they were saying. I'm guessing there were multiple languages in Twoleg world, but this song was catchy regardless.
I saw a cliff coming up, knowing it would lead down into more grass. I ran faster and faster as the song got quicker, then leapt off of the cliff. I looked down to see where I was landing, and gasped. It was sand, and the sand lead into a mass blue body of water; the ocean! The salty scent filled my nostrils, and I almost didn't see my paws before I landed. I stretched out my toes and landed square on all fours, then got to the edge, where the water was lapping against my paws. With my ears tilted forward, I studied the waters. I would have to swim f
