In my last journal, I told you all that my family and I were getting ready to evacuate for Hurricane Issac. We ended up checking into a pet friendly hotel for a few days. We lost power our first night there! When I reserved our room, I asked if they had a back up generator..they told me they did...They LIED!!! Myself and everyone else staying at that Hotel were less than amused! Anyway, Things got a little rough down here but I am happy to report that my family and I escaped the hurricane virtually unscathed. Aside from a few pieces of siding that came off our home and being in the dark for 3 days, we were one of the lucky ones! For others, recovering will take quite some time..

Before I talk about my feature, I would like to tell you that I just went through another surgery for staph (MRSA). I am doing well, Still a little sore but on the road to recovery. Please forgive me if I can't leave comments or answer every comment I receive. As you can imagine, I've fallen quite behind on DA and there is no way I can take the time to catch up. Luckily I did this feature and also the next one before I had surgery! My illness is also one of the reasons I haven't submitted any new photos in awhile, so please bare with me. Hard to believe that 2011 has already come and gone, seems like it just flew by! I've met so many new friends and discovered so many talented artists this year. You, my friends have amazed me! And though it is sometimes frustrating to be faced with doubt, I know that I'm not the only person on Earth who has witnessed unbelievable things.The Stories I Never Told You Prt. 3 in Personal More Like This
One such incident in which I witnessed something 'unbelievable' took place on the highway in open farmland between Eugene Oregon and Portland. We were in the process of moving from the former town to the latter city, and had made the 2-hour drive numerous times. To avoid the inevitable boredom which plauges most 16-year-olds during long car rides, I had made a sport of counting the number of raptors I spotted out the windows, and had become quite good at not only spying them, but also identifying them: I could see the shadow of a hawk and instantly, as if seeing the familiar face of a friend, know that it was a redtail, or a harrier, or a rough-legged without so much as a second glace.

Firstly we come to Tony Stark.
As some of you will know, Robert Downey Jr. was reportedly paid $50mil for his role in The Avengers, but will he be paid just as handsomely for his return in Iron Man 3? Only time will tell, but the film has a release date (for now) of May 3rd 2013. And seems like it has been confirmed that Oscar-winning actor, Ben Kingsley will play The Mandarin! With Guy Pearce also co-starring as Aldrich Killian.
Secondly, our man in the star-spangled uniform, Steve Rogers.
Captain America 2, has only two confirmed cast members so far. That being Cap himself, Chris Evans and our fearless leader, Nick Fury (Sam Jackson). The film's plot has been tipped that Cap will be assisting S.H.I.E.L.D whilst still trying to find his place in our crazy modern society. It has a pending release date of April 4th 2014.
Thirdly, is the one and only God of Thunder, Thor.
