A beautiful sunrise from november with some crackin' red light. It was taken from a natural hill with many bushes and some interesting ground : it was covered in green moss and the brown heather was red in the sun... with the fog down the valley, this scene made some strange effect, it was quite magical and a bit otherworldly.
This shot was taken yesterday's morning in a magnificient valley.
We planned this trip just the day before as we knew there could be fog and cirrus clouds at sunrise time... indeed there was a sea of mist, and the cirrus clouds made a wonderful glowing light at dawn which tinted the mist, while the land was still dark. A magic moment spent in a preserved wild landscape.
A picturesque sunrise above the Alps with view of the Grat Mountain between Diepen and Rophaien. The grass on the mountain slopes appears very soft in the morning light. The contrast between light and shadow accentuates the curved slopes of the Grat very nicely.
The peaks of the Geisler mountain range appear in the warm light of the low evening sun while Swiss pine trees cast long shadows in the picture’s foreground. The panorama captures the northern side of the Dolomite Alps seen from the Glatsch Alm at the end of the Vilnöß Valley.
The ancient village of XingPing in China. Awesome place! Read the story about it on my blog: [link] While you're there, check out the Portfolio section for the complete Travel Album with photos from Asia.
