Here's the true story of what happened: I was working in my studio one day in March and I got the Blue Screen of Death. So while my hard drive rebuilt, I laid down on my studio sofa and took a nap. In my dream, I was suddenly overwhelmed with the image of Cthulhu driving this poor corseted damsel insane with temptation of pie. Being a woman - that particular torture is very close to me. When I awoke the image hadn't left and I was compelled to sketch it out... thinking that it would turn out like crap and I could put it aside - but it didn't. It was beautiful. So then I sat down to do a color study, thinking that the sickly-otherworldy-green would ruin the piece - but it didn't. Two weeks later she was does - and I hadn't worked on any other projects at all - including the client piece I had been working on when my computer crashed originally. She was a standalone for a long time, until I kept getting requests for others like her. Cupcake came along in 2011, the Ice Cream Cthulhu Triptych came in 2012, and Cookie was finally completed in January of 2013. You see - it's not about the sexual enticement at all (except of the viewer) - it's about the specific horror women feel about the terrible balance between the pleasures gained from beauty and from dessert.

Very elegant, silver tone and amethyst drop earrings. center, purple cat's eyes are picked best to match with just enough variation in them to make things interesting. Surrounding stones are Amethyst swarovski crystals. These would look absolutely amazing in a wedding.

I've had my eye on these base pocket watches for awhile now, and I finally bought one!!
I placed each broken watch piece carefully in the back(there were a lot of pieces) and then painted a dragonfly charm a gold color, and placed it inside. Took several hours, but was totally worth it!
Sold it for $40
If you like to order one, please let me know!

I got this really nice key with an order of wings I received a week back. It seemed to go nicely with this necklace, with a few gears on;)

This will be the start of my Christmas stock for my buyers in my city's downtown. I need to start catching up on those hahahaXD But if someone online is interested, I won't mind selling...

Mantid is a unique recycled watch parts creature inspired by Preying Mantises and Spiders.

He was created with a variety of watch parts including watch strap springs, winding stems, watch plates, gears, silver watch face wings, and a blue Christmas tree light which makes up his tail. His blue eye is a winding stem knob, his other eye a watch balance bridge.

Mantid is soldered together using silver bearing, lead free solder. No glue was used in the creation of this piece.

Dimensions: 36mm wide, 57mm tip to tail, 51mm tall He comes with a 3" by 4" glass dome with walnut base for display. He is extremely fragile and should be handled sparingly and very gently, and is most definitely not a toy.

Scarab consists of parts from several old and irrepairable watches which have been disassembled, cleaned, and rearranged to form a new work of art. Each of his gears tell a story from a past life as a watch. Instead of putting full watch movements on a chain, these pieces are one of a kind, hand designed and soldered (no hot glues or resins are ever used) using lead free silver bearing solder. All pieces are named or numbered ensuring that there will never be one that is exactly the same as another. These are truly one of a kind wearable sculptures.

Scarab is 23mm wide by 39mm tall and comes on an 18" black waxed cotton cord with lobster clasp. Also available is an antiqued brass cable chain with links measuring 1.3mm or antiqued silver plated cable chain with links measuring 1.2mm if you prefer a gold tone chain.

Premium Sterling Silver Round Cable chains are also available at extra cost:

So I took apart an old cassette and used the tape inside as ribbon on all my Christmas Gifts.

Then I got the idea to make this using the old carcass of the cassette. I gojoed it, gave it a hammered metallic finish, added some patina... I took four old gears and stuck them in there in place of the tape reel, and added a chain where there once was tape. I made this label using some various free photoshop brushes, then printed it on parchment paper and aged it a little bit before gluing it on.
I also screwed a picture hanger on the back. Now I got a little mini wall sculpture. Yay.

Due to the extremely high interest/demand of my last rings, I decided to make more.
You can view the first batch here:

These rings are priced at $10 each.
You can find them for sale via my etsy store, or you can note me directly (I actually kind of prefer you buy direct so I get a slightly larger cut of the money, but if you want the safety of etsy, I understand. The link is here: [link] )

For those situations when a large gun is simply not practical, the Clan of Teks recommends the latest in personal protection, cause there's always room for a TANC! The Tek Armory Noisy Cricket is small enough to fit in any pocket or purse. It can be tucked into any number of places in your wardrobe.

When coupled with the Tek Armory Targeting Goggles (Not included) it can be very accurate indeed.

This is a re-painted "brass" version of the latest Star Trek movie Phaser toy. You know....steampunk everything. :)

***Edit***

Apparently some people think this isn't steampunk enough, cause all those other brass ray guns are different than this brass ray gun. Pffft! ;)

One of the most important defense tools in the Arsenal of the Clan of Teks, with the Tek Peacemaker it only takes 2 shots to end a conflict.

This is C.O.G.'s Myles Ballantyne.

At last, my leading man! Gotta love a redhead, lol.

A little fact about this character: Myles is near-sighted, which means he has no problem seeing things up-close but has a problem with things far away.

Myles is one of the character in the graphic novel I am working on C.O.G. (Chronicles of Genius).

This is the Logo I designed for the Graphic Novel: C.O.G. (Chronicles of Genius) which I am currently working on. It features the Empyrean Logo, which is the company co-owned by the principle male lead, Myles Ballantyne. I went for an art nouveau style for the text itself. It was a challenge, and I know the "O" is very big for being such a small word, but I like it.

Interior will be forthcoming soon.

If you ask me a question about my work, I will answer it if I can. ^__^

Enjoy!

EDIT: Added the ribbon for title text to make it more clear.
