It hurts my feelingsI just had a kind of emotional breakthrough. This is really the only place that I can express it, so here I go...
I'm really sad. All this bullying going on in the world just makes me really sad because I am one of the many victims of all this negative energy. These people think I'm not, but I am aware of the things being said about me, and it hurts my feelings, it does. I'll get some good comments, but just one negative one will completely throw me off. The world is hard enough at this age, what with trying to find out who you are and what in the world you want to be. I can try to avoid these feelings but they get to me. It doesn't help when people are constantly cutting me down like I'm not even human. I just wish that people would pay attention to me and my art and not my personal life. What with rumors about me being bi or gay, I really have given up on humanity. I seriously think that even if it was any of those people business that they would truly know the answer inst

The doors burst open, several policemen rushed inside; guns aimed and ready. Others stayed outside, some in the open and some crouched behind the police cars.
“So, how do we do this?” Doku whispered frantically to Kage.
“Want to take the ones outside? I’ll stay inside and get these ones.” Kage replied, unsheathing his claws.
“Ah, sure; just be careful.”
“I will, don’t worry.” Kage jumped to the wall and quickly climbed to the ceiling.
Doku went the other way, grabbing his bladed staff and going through a window. Outside was dark, from the roof Doku could see all around. Police cars surrounded the building, maybe half a dozen or so. Beside them were the police.
Doku stayed in the shadows, looking to see which ones to get first. He spotted two of them who were quite close to the building. He moved over to them quietly, without being noticed.
Then he shot out the bladed staff, piercing one of them in the shoulder. They cried out

Kage sighed. He climbed further up the roof so that he could no longer hear his parents; he didn’t like to hear them so sad.
Kage climbed to the highest part of the roof and sat down; he felt like he needed some alone time to think. He felt afraid; he didn’t know what his parents were planning, but it didn’t sound very easy.
He closed his eyes and listened to the sounds of the night. The wind blowing through the grass and the trees, crickets here and there, things of that sort. They were calming and peaceful, something nice.
Kage opened his eyes, and thought he saw something in the woods. He grew alert and looked over in the direction where he thought he had seen it. It had been small and subtle, but there was something.
Kage silently climbed down the roof and onto the ground. He headed into the forest, looking for the thing that he had seen. He walked over to where he had seen it, and found it; a small luminous yellow light floating through the air. It was a firefly,

“Grow up brave and live a long life, alright?”
‘. . . Huh?’ The world around him was dim, but Kage could hear a voice in his mind.
“I will mom, I promise.”
‘My . . . memories?’
“You’re strong; you can survive on your own.”
‘この声 . . . お母さん？’ (That voice . . . Mother?)
“Grow up strong, you got that Kagekao? I know you’ll do well.”
Kage opened his eyes slowly. The door had opened once again and more police had come inside. Doku was trying to fight them off, a little ways in front of Kage.
Kage looked down at the photo in the puddle of blood. Their voices . . . he could remember their voices . . .
He reached out slowly and picked up the photo.
“Photos are very special; they are windows to memories, and memories are your own special treasures to ke

Kagekao stopped; the blades of the staff were just inches away from the demon. His mask no longer showed an angry face, but one of confusion.
The demon eyed the deadly blades and sighs when he sees that they were no longer moving towards him. He took a few deep breaths to calm himself down. He slowly starts to get up.
The face on Kage’s mask changed back to an angry one, and he shoved the blade forward, causing the demon to fall again.
“おまえだれ！？” (Who are you!?) Kage snarled.
“まて、おまえ-!” (Wait, you-!) The demon replied hastily, raising his hands a little to show that he wouldn’t attack.
“どのようにオレの名前を知っていますか！？” (How do you know my name!?) Kage demanded angrily, feeling

The two demons had made their way to the city that was next to the woods with the house. Before returning to the city where Doku lived, Kage wanted to search this city.
They climbed the buildings to give themselves and eagle eye view of the surrounding area; but they didn’t seem to be able to find any other demons, or even shinigami for that matter.
They continued to search, talking as they went.
“So, tell me more about these shinigami.” Kage asked, looking down at the road from a rooftop.
“Well, that one that I told you about first, the one with the black robes and scythe, he doesn’t seem to be friendly with anyone. I don’t know what his motive is, but he never seems to attack humans, only demons and other shinigami. I avoided him the few times I’ve seen him, and that was a while ago. But I saw him go after this other shinigami once, maybe a year or two ago.” Doku explained, scanning the windows of a seemingly empty building.
