more bakuten art! this time, a colored version of the meg line art i did... uhm... apparently in 05 cause that's what my sig says at the bottom. >.>
i'm on a roll today! wooo!
that's 2 down in the countless amount of pics i have that i said i would eventually color. ;_;
i've been on and off working on this pic since i did the lineart
fixed some issues i had with the eyes in the lineart.... and for the colors, i used Dalarminus's colorwork on as sort of a crutch to figure our shadowing and stuff. anywho... i think i'm improving... a little. ^_^
so yea i really can't get enought of this couple, and in the manga they're just so darned cute ^_^
for the record i only croped,edited and aranged the pics, I did NOT draw them. all of These pics were all taken from the japanese version of the burst angel manga. All credit goes to the amazing author/artist as well the distribution companies. Of which i'm especially thankful for for FINALLy liscencing here in the US
Jo from Burst Angel. I just drew one of the digital images floating around the net. My first traditional drawing in quite a while. I'm trying to get back in to it. Next step is to learn outlining/scanning and digital color.
My last fanart of Meg was really popular sooooo~ I decided to try and do another sketch of her, later to be coloured and inked etc. ^_^ I am quite pleased with it as it is a good pose for her and all in all the proportions arent bad. I am still in the middle of working on it, and will need some opinions before inking ^^ (I think I need to ask Davey!).
^_^ I like my sketching better than everything else, simply because you can see that my lines have osme life to them. This was all drawn quickly with minimal undo or erasing... I like to make myself do it this way for learning purposes
This took me... 2 hours approximately. This is a gift requested by , (for his birthday!) and I've not seen Meg before until now. She is very cute indeed, I really do like her design. This started off on paper, thewn I redrew it out on my tablet. I really really like it, I'm so pleased with it. Dave loves it too, which is what matters to me most. I will CG this, but I wanted to share this sketch, becuase I like it as it is right now.
Yay! This is a much nicer drawing of Jo (from "Burst Angel")...I didn't think the shading and lines would show up so nicely. More character is seen in this one, and it's not so...'bland' looking as the other drawing I did of her. She looks cooler than Meg...plus, she reminds me Rei from Evangelion...the hair, and she has red eyes in some pics I've seen of her. Hope it looks great! ^^
