just bought an art tablet.
getting a feel for it.
feels good.

decided to do a supernova.

wound up trying a bunch of things I had no idea how to do.

but they all worked great.

used several different tech's to give high definition to the clouds.
added craters to the moon.
used the pen tool to make solar flares.

I'm very happy with it.

First time making a ship. Pretty happy with it. lol The motion blur makes all the difference. It I didn't put a motion blur on it, it wouldn't look realistic at all. Didn't put too much detail into the ship.

Welcome, dear travelers, to the Plains of Ragnarok.

Long ago, these desolate plains were the sight of a great battle between the forces of two once great nations.

Their world, which had once been a beautiful world, was dying, and water and food was becoming scarce.

This was mostly due to the humans careless trashing of the planet. They knew it was futile, but they battled anyway. It was the law of the land.

A thousand years later, this world was rediscovered by humans from the TerraCluster. The world was placed off limits while the planet healed.

Take a lesson away from this world, fellow travelers.

Have had a lack of creativity lately. Made this planet months ago but couldn't put together anything I liked. I was finally able to pull this together.

If anyone knows of some good tutorials for city lights I would appreciate it if you could drop a link in the comments. I haven't been able to find any.

Happy Halloween!:D although its a little late for that, but whatever!:)

Spire:

As we entered the Tolia System I looked out of my window and gazed down at the night side of the first homeworld, Dorak, of the Zodis race.
I watched the beautiful patterns of the city lights and saw their ships launching and flying off, out of sight, to the day side of their world.

Our ship then rose out of the moon's darkness and into the star's light. I watched in awe at the breath taking scene before me!

I immediately saw their second homeworld, Cala, in the distance and down below, the day side of Dorak, with their ships flying off to the distant world.

The gas giant, Galum, and its majestic rings, were what caught my eye! Its rings rose like a spire above Dorak, with their star's light shinning through and casting its life giving glow upon the system.

A tear ran down my cheek, as I watched longer at the scene, and then another.
I didn't want to leave, but as I heard our ship's thrusters roar, I new it was time to, and go to our destination.

As much as I wanted to stay,... we were just passing through. I knew that, yes! But, just before we entered hyper-space, I took one last glance, knowing that one day, I will return to this incredible place!

well, i hope you guys liked that little piece of literaure!:D

i really enjoyed making this piece and i really, really like it!:D
its very calm and serene!:)

also, its the first time i'm trying new city lights!:D so tell me what you think about them!:)

hello everyone!:D sorry i haven't submitted anything in like a month, but now i return with my 3000 pageviews special! yay!:squee:
thank you to all my watchers, friends and viewers!:)
this couldn't have happened without your support!

This is the Omegalon System and its situated in the Chronus Nebula. yes, the same nebula as the Alpharyx System[link] , just on the opposite side of it! it is inhabited by the Galdorians, a race who are ranked highly in technology, like the Protians of the Alpharyx System. they also bear a resemblance to we Humans. but unlike the Protians, they prefered to stay as organic lifeforms.
they do take part in trade with the Protians, The Daptaris System[link] and The Zodis Race[link] .

here, we see the large gas giant Dorium and 4 of its moons, 3 of which are important:

:bulletblue:the moon Subera(lower left) is the same size as Earth and has just more land to water. this is the very first moon where the Galdorians evolved. they then colanised the outer moons. the moon is considered a very beautiful place and many couples from this system and others come for the scenery. the nights on this moon are especially beautiful when the cities are lit up and Dorium is in the sky!

:bulletblue:the moon Cydona(top right) was the second moon colonised by the race and is slighty smaller than Subera. it is more land than water and has a high ubandance of minerals in its crust. exporting these minerals brings quite alot of money to the system, and so, the moon acts as the economic centre for the system. all ships coming from or going to other systems must first travel to this moon for clearance.

:bulletblue:the moon Zenyx(foreground) is slightly smaller Cydona and acts as a resurch facility in the system. all experiments in the system are performed on this moon and it is home to the some of the most advanced technology from this system.

so, again thanks for all the support and i hope you guys like it and comment if you can!:D

:)!!!!! PLEASE COMMENT IF YOU CAN!!!!!:)

hello everyone!:D i return with a small fever, but i'm still happy!^^; i give to you, a modified.... odarum system!:la: yes, its been done! one of my most popular works, all fancied-up and edited so that it may be... print worthy, but it also deserved an encore, so here it is!:D

had to be totally redone because the original file was deleted to make space on my computer. but that was last year, when i didn't have my sweet 1 terrabyte of external hardrive at my side.;) so even though most of the elements in the image were changed or attempted to be recreated, there are differences to them, along with new additions to the image!:)
all of these were added together along with my new techniques in order to create the image. and why just stop at recreating the image, i also game it a new name to go along with it...Immersion!;)

you can see the listed new features below:

new features:

- definately higher resolution for better image quality. 5000px X 2500px!:D was previously 3000px X 1500px.:p
- file is png instead of jpeg for even more quality.
- extra moon!:dummy:
- bigger moons, kinda!^^;
- dimmer and more refined lens flare to see more nebula detail.:)
- smaller and more organised stars.
- darker night-sides for the planets.
- rings are more angled towards us for a better and more intersting view!:D were edge-on and boring before!:p
- shadow from rings onto planet!:D
- shadow from planet onto the rings is more refined and realistic!
- slightly smaller rings that aren't monotone like before!
- shadow from planets onto the nebula!
- nebula isn't as bright as before!
- colours are slighly less saturated, different and more balanced!:)
- image has some more depth to it!
- text with new awesome name that really suits the image!:D
- contrast layer for a more "dynamic" feel!
- more realistic foreground moon with figher level of detail!:)
- some different textures for the planets.
- is a print!:la::dummy:
- in total, the image is much more refined, interesting and realistic!:D

all comments, favs and critiques are welcomed and appreciated as always!:)

"Idle Whisper" Artist's Description:

Hello. . . . Just seemed like the appropriate thing to say. . .

So, for some reason, one of my classes started a half hour late today. I mean, we were all there, instructor, students, computers, you know. But we weren't doing anything, so I did this.

The program at school is a bit different than mine, so when I brought it home to touchup, a few things didn't mesh, and the colors and brightness were different (although that's not the program of course).

A few things are off (like usual =P) I don't usually make things like this at school, not having my resources (or my stereo for that matter). But I like the fact that I did this waiting for something to start.

OH. I almost forgot. This was actually designed to be viewed turned 90 degrees clockwise. 1080 x 1920, instead of 1920 x 1080. But so it could be used as a desktop, I rotated it. You can rotate it back if you'd like.
I would appreciate a :+fav: if you download :)

"Dark Days" Artist's Description:

I'm sorry for the lame title :P
It's partly based on this particular weekend for me (which at the moment might be leveling off), and partly based on a song by The Used.

It's really so dark, I have a hard time working on it, so I'm not sure exactly if I think it looks good. But for the most part it's okay ;)

And I do recommend full view.

Standard fare for tools. Photoshop, Apophysis, Bryce, some satellite images heavily modified, and layers of upon layers.

I would appreciate a :+fav: if you download :)
