This is an interior illo for the Eberron Campaign Guide 4e, recently released by Wotc.

This has a very similar feel to an earlier piece I did, the briefs were similiar and I didn't release how close the two were until I had finished and looked again, wierd.

2010 Jon Hodgson

Lake-town for The One Ring rpg from Sophisticated Games and Cubicle 7.

"Since the great days of old, when a powerful realm of Northmen stretched far from the Lonely Mountain, there has been a city upon the Long Lake. Grown out of a small community born along its western shore, the village of Esgaroth became a trading port when families of merchants decided to move there from Dale. They built warehouses, and great residences to live in and closely follow the coming and going of their goods. For many years thereafter the boats of the Lake-men were seen going up and down the river, their holds filled with gold and their decks crowded with warriors in armour,
ready to bring war to distant lands."

A piece from A Guide to Katapesh. This city sits at the foot of a high mountain pass. One of my favourite pieces I've painted in recent times.

A big double page spread map for Lake-town Sourcebook for The One Ring rpg: [link]

This shows an idea of what the rebuilt Lake-town might look like. The aim was to give enough info for Loremasters to be able to guide their players through Lake-town, without being too prescriptive about individual streets and so on, which runs the risk of being too dry.

A lot of hours in this one! ArtRage and Photoshop.

I intended to go further with this one but got sick and tired of it so I 'll just call it finished. I might work on it more but chances are I won't haha. Time to move on to another painting. Hope you like this one.

(Image is blurred again on my screen. Hope it's not on yours)

A picture inspired by Prince of Persia. I tried to work with a little bit more precise brush and harder edges.

One of over 20 Illustrations for a personal exhibition project named Osmadth.

The City of Zurakhul lies on the Island of Kessar and is also its biggest city. Further into the north lies an endless desert.

Very much inspired by the art of Dechambo!

I work mainly as a texture artist but in occasion, I have the chance to draw a little in production. It's always a lot of fun.
