Okay, I know she kind of looks like she had her neck broken and had her body dumped into the middle of the ocean, but I SWEAR I only noticed that after I had 95% of the picture done. FFFFFFFFF. OTL;;
Anyway, this is a contest prize for ~lemonlimepartytime, for winning second place in my contest. It's supposed to be her OC Odette, not her OC Odette's dead floating corpse. I was trying to get her to look like she was just hanging out in one of those "oh hey I'm just going to lie down here because I'm chill like that" poses, but-- yeah, you get the point.
That aside, I like the way this turned out; I don't color water very often (because I'm not very good at it lol) but I think I did alright here.
Why does this song have to be so damn catchy!? >:U
Anyway, here's my OC Harumot, who has been revised a bit since I last did a proper picture of her. I decided to draw her because lately my gallery has been comprised primarily of teenage boys and crusty old men. So, here's some estrogen to hopefully make it a little more balanced. xD
I experimented with the coloring technique a little here, using a style that was partially inspired by HiNaBN. and frankly it was pretty fun. I might do more pictures like this later.
I had a rather interesting lineup of professors this semester, so I decided to draw caricatures of them. I was originally going to go through all of them, but I could only finish these three before I got bored with drawing them.
From left to right, I've drawn my American history professor, my oceanography professor, and my speech professor. I might draw the rest of them later, but knowing me, I'll probably ditch the idea, lol.
Painting I did for amazing artist as a gift for her birthday I found her while ago, and her artworks are one of the most amazing and inspirating I'v ever seen. I think she is unique person and unique artist, with unique visions and art. Im always excited when I found another her artwork in my watch list And she maybe doesn't remember but when I was here on deviantart for first week, she had featured one of my works and I remember how happy I was So this is kind of ''thank you''.
I hope you will like it, Sylwia! I tried to did my best
This was really funny to paint, I was inspired by Sylwia's style and I did ink lines and watercolour coloring. Unfortunately the salt isn't working. Again.
So, another illustration for my book is here. This is little najad girl called Laurité. She lives in warm pond full of geysers. One day, she awoke and everything was different then she remember - Her loving mum was gone and all the forest, flowers and woods and animals too. And she was very sad, very lonely. So everytime when somebody walk around and wanted to rest in warm pond, she used her mystic powers, and controling water, she forced wanderers to stay with her forever (that means till they die, because najads are growing very slowly). One day, she catched three friends, Aja, Orix and Karin. She wanted to forcing them to stay, too, but friends suggested, that they will restore the forest around pond to beautiful garden. With a help of special flower they found Whiteshine Viviparous they made it, they lured animals to garden and when Laurité was playing with her new animal friends, they run away.
Wow, I had much of wark with this and I'm still not satisfied. I think I will try to make the bacground look better. (and that scan! Oh my! thats really terrible)
Thank you so much for faves, comments, or looking! All of it makes me very happy! Have a nice day!
This is my part of Art trade with amazing She wanted to paint her character The Blind Prophetess She is elven archer, inspired by world of LOTR and yeah, she is blind. Because of that I named this artwork Invisible enemy, because she cant see him. Blind Prophetess dont have name, still, and I think its a little pity, couse shes so lovely :/
I had so much fun painting this, because of awesome character & that cloak! I know its absurdly long, but I like that I used this beautiful picture as reference for that pose The Archer
I hope you will like it, friend!! And please, give her a name!
tools: watercoulour, watercolour pencils, white & gold gelpen, pencil
I realized I didn't have any physically tough looking characters, and since I've been on a DnD kick for a while I ended up with something kinda Half-Orc-ish. I'm not entirely sure about the outfit or some of the tats, but it's good enough to post, I guess.
Thinking of naming her Maggie, unless I find out I shouldn't use that name for some reason.
lol I had the hardest time with this page! I can't carry on an arguement build up without a planned ending, so I changed their texts so many times (as you can see how messy that panel is) where is this taking me ??? D: haha. anyways, the thing is i dunno what to draw next exactly...looks like i have to draw according to what comes to my hands!
