This one was made as a dedication for my grandmother - Irena, who is dead for more than 10 years.
It was inspired by a spoon she gave my mum and my mum two days ago gave me...

Silver and amber.

Four polymer clay and stone pendants made for a customer that cuts and polishes his own stones. He provided these beautiful stones and I made a polymer clay setting for each.
From left to right are Mexican crazy lace agate, turquoise in matrix, plasma jasper and another crazy lace agate.
Aren't they the coolest stones?!

This is a closeup up of part of a journal cover I made with polymer clay. I used an old fossil watch for the main eye and glass gems for the three eyes at the top. It is a custom book I made for a buyer that wanted something with the theme 'beast'.
All of the scales were carved by hand. :D

Wet felted coat and beret for my Alice :)
The button of the coat is made of fimo, and her scarf and trousers are made of leftover fabrics.. she feels much better in this outfit than in her original clothes  :)

At last :)
To tell the truth these bracelets are ready for weeks, but i was so busy with custom orders that i simply could not find time to take photos of them :)

The black and red one is very similar to the first piece i've made for myself... I've used my last skeleton goddess cameo for it (i have 2 more big ones),
The purple steampunk one is the first one on which i combined fabrics and wire wrapping..
i hope you'll like them and i can make many more :)

Both cuff bracelets are available in my etsy shop: [link]

you'll also find more photos and measurements there.

Trinket box with a swastika/fylfot burned into the top.

The swastika is also known for its uses in heraldry as the tetraskelion, the fylfot cross (fylfot meaning 'four feet,' a term used in european heraldry), the cross gammadion (because it resembles four greek letter 'gammas.'), and the hakenkreutz (German, hooked cross).

This is a plaque with a valknot design burned into it.

This symbol found on old Norse stonecarvings is called "Hrungnir's heart," after the legendary giant of the Eddas. It is best known as the Valknut, or "knot of the slain," and it has been found on stone carvings with funerary motifs, where it signified the afterlife.

The valknut can be drawn unicursally (in one stroke), making it a popular talisman of protection against spirits.

The Valknut's three interlocking shapes and nine points suggest rebirth, pregnancy, and cycles of reincarnation. The nine points are also suggestive of the Nine Worlds (and the nine fates) of Norse mythology. Their interwoven shape suggests the belief of the interelatedness of the three realms of earth, hel, and the heavens, and the nine domains they encompass.

The Valknut is also an important symbol to many follwers of the Asatru faith, who often wear it as a symbol of the faith.

Image burned into a 6'" pine plaque. Tribute to Odin, Northern European god of wisdom, runes, and battle. The Futhark alphabet surrounding an image of the all-father ( with missing eye deeply burned into the wood).

"Odin was depicted as somber and grim bearded god, who sacrificed one of his eyes, so he could drink from the well of Mirmir (Well of Wisdom). Odin was also described as the god who wore wide-brimmed hat and wearing an eye-patch to hid his missing eye."

"Odin, the Norse High God of the Aesir, hung from the world tree, Yggdrasil, impaled on his own spear, for nine days and nights in order to gain the knowledge of runes. When the runes appeared below him, he reached down and took them up, and the runic knowledge gave him power . He later passed on this knowledge to the Vanir goddess Freya. She, in turn, taught him the magic of seidr. Heimdall, the god who guarded the Rainbow Bridge, taught the runes to mankind."

This was part of a commission I received for redesigning the visual aspects of Payment Systems Group's website.

One dollar bear with other bears made the same way with foreign currency.
Note that the bears are Photoshopped to look like a bear family.

Not my usual fare,
Anyway I was reading the "Hunger Games" and my girlfriend says to me, "why don't you try to make that bird? "

I said, " sure " and here is the result .
It's not that hard of a model because it was made on the fly.

This is my second one because the first was made with regular paper.

The bird is made with one square sheet of paper and the rest is just paper I cut out to make it look like the pin.

So here is my " Tribute ' to the " Hunger Games "

" Hunger Games " and related copyrights are the property of Suzanne Collins and Scholastic press.

Tidal Sapphire: I'm not sure if I invented it, but I don't remember ever seeing anyone else ever offset a stone like this. The band was cuttlefish cast, and the stone is pear/teardrop shaped, both sapphires. The idea was to homage the Gulf waters and it's beaches. What do you think?

Copper, sterling silver, and sleeping beauty turquoise. 1 5/8" wide, and 2 1/4" diameter cuff. hand forged, fabricated, with a hook and clasp closure.

I was inspired by October being Domestic Violence Awareness month. Having waled a mile this summer in high-heels for Safehouse of Shelby County and domestic violence awareness, I wanted to create a piece that embodies the dream.

The shape of the cuff is reminiscent of Repunzel's tower, and also a restraint cuff used to enslave. But she managed to escape through the bars of the window while still in full bloom.
