JK Rowling & the Indefatigable George WeasleyI know I'm going to sound like a real broken record on this topic, but earlier I commented on a fanart of George Weasley and Angelina Johnson in which the artist clearly did not like the pairing - so naturally I supported it. Another deviant - and frankly, I expected thisJK Rowling & the Indefatigable George Weasley in Personal More Like This- commented on my original comment with the standard excuse, "I like to think that George and Angelina bonded over the death of Fred -- she had dated him, he was his twin -- and then through that bonding and trying to get through something really difficult, they fell in love. And I see that as totally plausible and not a literary blunder by JKR."
For one thing I'm slightly peeved by the arrogance of that deviant. I don't appreciate random people trying to belittle my opinion when I wasn't talking to them; I guess shipping fans are one of the worst breed of fans.
