I received this birthday gift earlier today on FurAffinity, and I know that his drawer doesn't plan to put it on DA, so I have his permission to submit it in my gallery. I really love this one, because of the adorable toon style, my characters looks too cute here x3
Yup... just another Yoshi drawing, but with my new found interest of an old found shading style... cel-shading. Hadn't drawn a plain ol' Yoshi drawing in quite the bit, so um.... yeah. It's just Yoshi in my very recognizable style. :v Hope y'all like. :b
It's JUST Yoshi. :m In my style, but less cartoonized than MY usual. I wanted to also try something new, and use thinner line art. :m Looks great, but it's too much hassle to do for everything, so I'll limit the usage of the thinner lining. (Till I find an easier way to do it. :n)
I actually wanted to make this a Galaxy 2 inspired drawing, but I got lazy. (They made Yoshi so damn cute in that game, I can't stand it. :3 )
i use to like birdo in mario tennis for n64,she looked cute and had a cute voice...but now shes fat, ugly and she farts out her mouth (it looks like shes saying fart but its really the noise) yoshi can do soooooooo much better lol
Here's the reason I didn't post for this long. It's my 250th Deviantion special.
for those who are unfamiliar with bee Mario, play super Mario galaxy or galaxy 2 and find out about him.
The craft is designed, unfolded and built by AKA me
I think it came out pretty good, stands really stable at 30cm, 9 pages. It took me a week to make it, because I wasn't in the mood. For example, I started Last sunday, when I built the hat. The next day only the antennae, Tuesday the eyebrows (2d parts), Wednesday I built the head and the neck fur, Thursday I built a button, and yesterday I forced myself to finish it.
Will be released somewhere in October for my blog's anniversary along with a surprise pack, which has something to do with this October 3rd. Those who know or suspect what I'm up to please don't ruin it for others in comments. Instead send me a message and I'll confirm if it's correct.
Finally in the first week of October 2012 Yoshi was completed. I had several problems with the paper pulp because it was a season of high rainfall and humidity so this took a long time to dry. The pieces were flattened and dented and the filling of swarf and sawdust was compressed inside, causing depressions in various parts of the model (even with the layer of pieces of paper that was added). Fixed those problems was sanded and polished, then added shading and highlights with paint, and finally a layer of matte and glossy varnish .
Here are the final photos of this fantastic model designed by Brandon.
The model is printed on 90gsm paper to 4 pages per sheet, 4 sheets were only required (yes I know I'm a greedy with paper ) at the end Link measured about 13 cm high without base . Also the edges of the paper are colored with acrylic paint to remove white lines , and the model is stuffed with pillow stuffing to give firmness . For the finish we use matte and glossy varnishes. The base is reinforced with cardboard inside, and varnished with ultra varnish.
I hope that you will like the result as much as I like assemble and detailing this Zelda Link.
My Meganium papercraft from Paperpokes. I built this in June 2011. This is the second Meganium I built. I also made Version 1 of Meganium [link] You can download this Meganium papercraft here: [link] The first version of Meganium can be download here: [link]
Ok, I finished this at least a month ago, but then the regattas season began... And since then I had not even a spare second left to take pics/build! D: Ahem, anyway: awesome, innit? I love charmeleon, one of my faves ever! And this pose is fantastic!!! I asked Bran to make me a charmeleon... at least since the day after I joined paperpokés! So when I saw our charmeleon-POdragon-version, I whined a little... So Bran decided to make an alternate pose! Yay!!!
As usual, you'll find Charmeleon V2 on our Paperpokés website [link] as soon as it gets a free spot!
3D Editing by Brandon, aka ~z8-0 (and some adjustments made by me bec I'm a whiny-annoying perfectionist! Thanks Bran for being so patient with me! ). Template and build by me.
