and the next awesome model is done
:iconvictorydanceplz: :hooray: :icondweebdanceplz: :iconcarameldansenplz: :happybounce: :squee:

that's the reason why i just love this shit so much :D
and i just knew it would be cool

as i saw this model for, well, meanwhile also over a year ago ^^;
i just had to ask :iconsanat49: sanat49 for it
and i'm very thankfull and proud that he spend his original mesh for a papercraft project :huggle:
Crock by sanat49
the cool thing about this model is, that it's an entry for the pre-DominanceWar V competition, where i'm also a huge fan of :la:
what made this model, not the first Dominance War Papercraft, but the first downloadable (ironic hint to an other crafter ;P ) and hopefully definetly not my last ;)
...
but that's up to the 3d designer ;)

ok now, back to the model
the last steps, where you have to combine all parts will be exhausting
specially for the big shoulder armor pieces
there is not many space for glue or failures so be patience
test it out first where you can attach the pieces

also you have to put some weight into the rear leg or maybe both
maybe you noticed also that i attach the model a bit displaced at the pedestal
i had to do this because of the weight ratio
it's a lot testing and trying
so don't hurry ;)

file description:
the file contains as always three pdo files
one with texture and folding lines
one with texture and without folding lines
and one white version with folding lines

so you need the Pepakura Viewer what you can get "here"

all three pdo's are not protected
so if you have the Designer, you can edit the sheets in the way you want :)

the original texture is NOT included

model description:
the model come on 27 pages with 290 pieces and is 30cm tall

the model is actually not hard but the mouth take a bit more work as i thought
also the first three rings of the arms
the skulls and bones of the pedestal are very small but it's up to you if you wanna build them
i removed the lower site of the pedestal, it is too big for one page
but just glue the whole thing at a blank sheet and you have the same effect ;)

difficult level is about 7/10
if you have any trouble, feel free to ask me or/and take a look at the "building process gallery" where i explain how this and that is working :)

to download the model
click on the download button on the right side
you can thank dA for, that i can't write the direct link anymore

some words to the bloggers

because this is a collab, you have to give credits to :iconsanat49: sanat49 too!
otherwise i can't allow it to write a blog entry

you have the permission to use my photos
you DON'T have the permission to use his renders ore screenshot of it
except he allow it

this model is a Deviantart only download
so do not upload this model somewhere else
and the most important thing

this model is free and should it be
so let it be!

and trust me, i search for my stuff ;)

feel also free to write a critique :)

here we go
finally done :icontardboogieplz: :iconvictorydanceplz: :icondweebdanceplz:

man, this thing took just freaking long :faint:
when i imagine that the plan was, to build this in my three weeks vacation (last year :D ) and meanwhile a half year is gone since i started the boosterpack :D

ok, i had a few breaks, one with Renamon and a few others
so the pure building time was about two months
but also a long time :aww:

i have to say that i don't have any clue about Gundam Wing/00/Zero ore whatever which series is called
i know about the Gundams and love the mecha design (specially this one because of the wings) but never saw one part so don't bother about the name ;)

ah, big mechas with wings
i just love this shit :la:

even the sheets where not the best (they are very pixelized)
i'm totally pleased with the result
but during the building and right now i can say, it's definitely not a starter model
i had to modify a lot of stuff and quite every blue and grey edge is recolored to hide the folding lines
but all over is was pure fun :meow:
and...
surely not my last Gundam model ;)
the next one is allready planned

what's left to say
ah right :)
you can download the sheets here
also i wanna refer you to my building process gallery
just if you may stuck ;)

-other shots-

and a little special one here ;)

damn! damn! damn! :D
as i started this project, i never thought that it will take quite three months to finish :faint:

but this whole work with re-coloring from blank sheets to a colored version was totally worth
This Gundam is just badass and to call this a SD (super deformed) version is definitely an understatement ;)

with over 400 sometimes really tiny and complicated pieces, i really can say it's nothing for beginners
you can see it in the building process gallery
and i have to say that too, i printed that thing on A3 ^^;

the model itself was really cool to build
all pieces fit quite perfect together
sadly, and that's the reason why the model hold the weapon only one time and in that way, the weapon it's not really designed for the model
or rather the hands not for the weapon
the hands are based on one piece which is fold to itself just to get the shape of a hand
so it's really unstable, think about that when you wanna build that model ;)

now then
to the point what you probably all waiting for
and to the sad part :worry:
because this time, it's a bit different
the original model as black&white version and a pdo as help file (where i made the screenshot from) is available here
but you need a password
i can't tell you the password here but think about "from where" you download the model, that's all i can say
then my recolored version
normally i ask the owner or designer if i can get the permission to share them ->public<-
but because there is no way for me to contact "panda" i'm not gonna do that
...
by the way
asking questions in a private messages is free here on dA :)
maybe you know what i mean ;)

i combined the photos this time because i noticed that there are many fakers and thiefs out there, specially in the gundam scene

but there is only one person, who has that brown desk under each model

me's :D

feel also free to write a critique
would make me happy :meow:

Paperpokés has had Bulbasaur and Squirtle for a while now, so finally, here is the last of the Beginner Trainer's Three - Charmander!

This one is reasonably moderate in difficulty to build, there are a couple of tricky parts that could cause people to reprint sections, but the end result is totally worth it!

Once again, this one has a Aussie 5¢ piece glued onto the inside of it's belly for stability, because ... well, have you seen that tail?! Thanks to Brandon for the modeling.

To be released shortly. Keep checking out Paperpokés [link] every Monday for brand new releases.

This one almost broke me  It just about did my head in permanently. This is a photo of my second attempt at this PMF Pokemon.

I would have to say that it was either :
a) a very difficult model, or
b) that migraine was worse than I thought it was.

But it is finished and I don't have to (or want to) build it ever again. Still, it is a very adorable "frog", as my three year old calls it ... it does kind of look like a frog with a really big tumor growing on it's back!

Anyway, if you want to try this one yourself, you can get the template here:

Build for ~OliGig's Squirtle: [link]

He looks really cute. ^^ And, I know what you may be thinking, but it is really different to the Paperpokés version, especially on the face. I liked it a lot, which is why I wanted to build it.

OliGig kindly let me post it on UP, so here it is: [link]

Didn't I say I'd do more Wind Waker crafts? Well, I finally got round to it. :D

This guy was actually a nightmare to photograph, as he hangs from strings. In the end I hooked him up to an adjustable lamp and edited out the shadows it made. :)

Anyway, he's pretty big (about 38cm wide) to avoid small pieces. I hate small pieces. So, just make sure you have room for it before you start building!

There's a fire and a normal keese, but I only had time to build the fire one. Plus it's cooler. The normal one is just a few texture changes, but I made them two seperate ones because the textures for each are very different and I needed to re-map all the UV points. (I don't really know if they're the right terms... ;))

so, download and build your own here: [link]

feedback appreciated! :3

hmm, Tropius. I would have liked the big leaves to stand up a bit more, but gravity has a way of ruining your dreams. :iconidespiseyouplz:

Anyway, this was actually a nightmare to rip. I think I went through 5 different file types and had to install 2 or 3 new programs. eugh. Anyway, it's a Wii model, but I reduced it a bit poly-wise, especially on the bananas. It's not very difficult, the body is just 3 pages, then an extra 2 for leaves and bananas.

So, I did instructions for the first time ever... I have no idea if they are useful or not. Too vague? Just too... rubbish? :iconthinkingplz:

so, download here: [link]
the instructions are in the dl pack.

Forretress is fairly simple. It's made up of three separate parts, the middle and the top and bottom halves of the shell.

Sandslash is simple enough until you get to the spikes/spines on it's back. They have to be attached by gluing to the one above it.

A papercraft of the new 5th generation dragon pokemon, Kibago for Paperpokes.

It's pretty easy to build. The only notable thing is that it needs a small weight, like a penny, in its tail so it can stand.

Thanks to Brandon :iconz8-0: for designing this.

Template available now on the Paperpokes site [link]

Finished the Yoshi papercraft a while ago, but my camera died, soo... yeah. xP

I guess I had fun making this although there are no instructions, it's pretty simple, all you have to do is make the pieces first and figure out where they go.

I got the templates here.

Ok, I finished this at least a month ago, but then the regattas season began... And since then I had not even a spare second left to take pics/build! D:
Ahem, anyway: awesome, innit? :D I love charmeleon, one of my faves ever! And this pose is fantastic!!! I asked Bran to make me a charmeleon... at least since the day after I joined paperpokés! :D So when I saw our charmeleon-POdragon-version, I whined a little... ;P So Bran decided to make an alternate pose! Yay!!!

As usual, you'll find Charmeleon V2 on our Paperpokés website [link] as soon as it gets a free spot! :D

3D Editing by Brandon, aka ~z8-0 (and some adjustments made by me bec I'm a whiny-annoying perfectionist! ;P Thanks Bran for being so patient with me! ;P).

There are some things about this model what should be described HARD especially the leaf, An other hard thing is making the paperclip for the LEAF exacly the right shape, and then build the leaf around it! The rest of bayleef is pretty easy, Only the leaves take a lot of time.

Time to get out of my lazyness...

Sceptile's been ready for a long time, but I couldn't decide which background to upload it... Lavender took out all of its badassness, so let's try with light blue ^^ Edit: I would add hydrangeas on the back, but Sceptile absolutely loathes hydrangeas...

This awesome model was edited by :iconz8-0: , it's very fun to build and not too hard - not for beginners, but still average difficulty.
One of my favorite Pokémon, specially since it's a grass starter - they rule!!!

The twig on it's mouth is a real one - I strongly advise adding one to your model. It looks utterly cool!

Time to get back to work, cause I have to finish building another green model, and print and build another one after XD!

Look for Sceptile on :iconpaperpokes: [link] someday (soon?)!

Garchomp papercraft, edited by Brandon.

I am very happy with this template - it actually stands, without the aid of the right fin! To make sure it wouldn't fall, I added some weight inside his feet. Not an easy build - thin arms, fins, small teeth and spikes - but a very fun one.

He looks amazing, watching from the top of a shelf ^^

Soon on :iconpaperpokes: [link]

What can I say? Amazing how :iconz8-0: can edit papercraft ^^!

Scyther is a very different and cool pokémon. I really like this build and the pose is just... well, it speaks for itself. And what's even better? You can glue the arms anyway you like. Not an easy build though - small and pointy ends can be a bit annoying. But if this is one of your favorite pokémon, go for it - though I don't know when it will be up on :iconpaperpokes: [link]

It will also need some weight on its left foot for balance. A bit tricky, but since each leg part is separate, anything gone wrong can be fixed by redoing only one foot.

Hope you guys like Scyther!!
