ok, i made this quickly but it's simple and significant in the year i'm here on dA i joined a lot of groups and also watching a lot more
i've seen a lot of things but today I saw something, what I never want to see again (no, i don't post any links and names)
i know there are a lot of nude and fetish themed groups out there and pls don't missunderstand this but for me there is a little difference between a well done made nude photo and "i just make a photo of myself naked"
specially when this user post the photos in groups, which have nothing to do with that theme.
-edit- and pls, don't post any examples i don't wanna see that at all
When I'm bored I draw, when I'm mega bored I make stamps.
Whatever, I know there is "yes" and "no" about this message. To be fair I don't care about your point. If you support this, just Fave and use it. If you don't just go away. I'll tell nothing cause to much peoples make dramas.

Yaoi (if anything) mocks the LGBTA community by using negative gay stereotypes like seme, uke, and other such tropes within the genre, like the tendency to ignore the complete existence of females or to bash them (which is a common trope used in yaoi mangas). :/
Not only that, but I can't tell you how many times I've run into yaoi fans saying they supported 'gay rights' when all they did was squeal over two poorly drawn anime guys with badly proportioned features raping one another (or something else along those lines). Not to mention yaoi literally SEXUALLY OBJECTIFIES gay men. It often strips them naked, dresses them in fetish attire, portrays them with raging boners, turns them into pedophiles, rapists, or makes them physically abuse one another in both physically and emotionally violent relationships.
Yeah, that has absolutely NOTHING to do with LGBTA rights AT ALL. The LGBTA community consists of ALL kinds of people, not just men but WOMEN, old people, those from other cultures, DARK SKINNED PEOPLE TOO, so on and so forth. In sum yaoi doesn't help the gay community, if anything it hurts it. Gay men aren't all bishies, light-skinned, young and stylish...and they certainly aren't for straight females to fap to (which consists the majority of yaoi fans, some of which even pretend to be men online). The entirety of yaoi is nothing but a very negative stereotype about gay men.
And it's honestly the same exact thing as when a straight guy drools over two women being together. Same damn principle, different label...and I'm disgusted by them both for turning human sexuality into porn material for themselves. Stop turning homosexuality into a fetish. It's disrespectful to lgbta people, b/c they're PEOPLE dammit, NOT sex-objects for you to get your panties (or boxers wet over).
*This stamps counts for all other genres like yaoi too (like slash, m-preg, yuri, shounen-ai, and shoujo-ai, since they usually portray lgbta culture in a very unrealistic and seriously distorted light).
In sum, yaoi, yuri, genres like these < real lgbta people and characters. And you know I'm right. >:[ ★ Comments are disabled because I never reply to anything posted on my page (I only use it to fave people and that's it).
-And yes, I do know there are other smut genres that're equally as shallow/negative (like hentai or lolicon, but I'll save that for another day). :]
However these are lgbta fetish tropes, and it irritates me to no end how they portray gay culture as some shallow minded porn-show for their own perversion. As one former deviant said about LGBTAs, "They are PEOPLE. Treat them like it."
And do these genres treat gays like people? Nope. To them they are merely sex-objects, nothing more.
