He was an artist you might not know.
But you’ve met his children…
It’s rare that a “new” iconic monster is born and becomes forever identifiable,—— no matter the variations, by generation after generation. So it was when George Romero created the ultimate “zombie” in his Night of the Living Dead in 1968. The Capture vs. The Pose
portrait of a WW2 vet...
When a subject poses to have his or her photograph taken, the subject tries to project a message about himself or
herself by how he or she “poses”, by the attitude of his or her body language or facial expression.
If the subject is posed by the photographer, the body pulled and prodded into the desired angles,
the facial expression “directed”, it is the photographer who is intending to communicate a message.
In either case, posing or posed, there is undeniably something “false” in the representation.

Through The Lens #13 ~ Mastering CompositionArguably the most important challenge that faces every artist is that of mastering composition. Artists spend their entire life experimenting with different compositional tools in order to achieve desired effects. Throughout the academic history of art various books and theories have been written about principles and elements of design. The following list is not comprehensive and may vary from other lists that are out there, but I attempted to compile the most useful list of compositional ideas that I could with photographic examples of each of the ideas. Sometimes as artist we can spend so much time on technique and subject matter, that the basic composition of the piece we are trying to create gets overlooked. These powerful compositional tools not only help us to create more cohesive and complex art but they also help us to speak about art. Using the universal language of design, we can communicate with other artist in a seamless and direct way. My deviantART StoryConsidering that I have little time here, let's begin this little story. My deviantART Story in Art Features More Like This
Well, it's no secret that I joined DeviantART to show many of my papercraft work and share experiences and models with other papercrafters.
Before joining deviantART, and before doing papercraft, I did some drawing, and a little clay sculpture, but never managed to improve a lot in these two arts. It was until I found papercraft models, I began to explore this art and I was completely in love.
The first models I assembly were a lot of work for me, was it a mental challenge to complete, It took me about 6 days to finish my first model. Still I didn't give up.
I began to see how I could improve the finish of the figures and fulfill the dream that I always had: Having a large collection of amazing collectible figures!

I'm really glad the DA has finally find time to open up a debate about it, considering we're the biggest art community online it's a very efficient way to get the word across! I was told that Sopa was brought up in october 2011 and obviously gradually went into a downward spiral from there...I actually recalled something that was kind of strange, back in 2009 or 2010, I remember watching a youtube video talking about 2012 disaster. The people in it stated that they found prove that lead them to believe that 2012 would not be a natural disaster apocalypse but would be an online crises that would end the "-internet-world" as we know it. The video stated that apparently major internet providers are planning to "sell" internet like cable
