The demon quietly crawled along the ground, keeping in the shadows of the buildings.
The demon used a good lot of the advantages that the dark night was giving it. Slowly but surely, it crept closer to its target, sliding in and out of the shadows cast from the large buildings.
The firey-haired boy seemed to pause for a moment. Did he know he was being followed? The demon wasn't sure, until it had to retreat into darkness when the boy turned around.
