Joker leaned across the island and grabbed the sugar, attempting to discreetly get a better view of whatever was transpiring between Shepard and Garrus in the medical bay.
Gardner was not fooled. "You could just ask."
Joker shot him a look. "For the sugar? No thanks, I can handle it myself."
"They're comparing scars." Gardner explained, ignoring Joker's evasive maneuver. "And judgin' by the way she keeps touching him..."
Abandoning secrecy, Joker swiveled his chair and stared. "I should be in there."
"Save it, kid. Fractures from junior prom aren't going to cut it. Facial scars are the new black."

Shepard crouched behind one wall, glancing out into the adjoining hallway for any sign of enemies. Her knees ached from the constant need for cover, but it was a necessity with the constant barrage of bullets.
Behind her, Garrus and Mordin moved with enough efficiently to make her think she was alone in the deserted hospital. All this trouble for Mordin's former assistant, but she couldn't say no to a life in danger. Besides, Mordin had given so much for the success against the Collector's that she couldn't have said no. He needed this as much as she needed him.
Exhaling sharply in relief, she tentatively shoved away from the wall and began inching along the cool rock walls farther into the destroyed building.
"Hospitals." Mordin grunted, swivelin

Jenny's Really Long Webcomic Guide
I have been getting quite a few emails and questions about starting up your own webcomic, so I decided to compile all the articles I'd written before into this one comprehensive guide.
This massive wall of text has several sections:
- How to start
- Getting the story started
- Readership & research
- The Internets!
These are my own guidelines, based on my own experiences, and these are my solutions to the problems and issues I have encountered along the way. This is not necessarily the one true way. There are probably many different solutions to any problem. And a bajillion books on this very subject too. But regardless of what I have to say, do what works for you!
So take your bathroom breaks now, because you'll be here for a bit! Sit tight and enjoy my blathering!
Part One: "How do you start a webcomic?" A Short Question... with a big, long, friggin' answer.

Mass Effect 3 - how I would have ended itMass Effect 3 - how I would have ended it in Drama More Like This
I figured I'd set a few hours aside to throw something together that I would have been content to accept as the series finale.
It's pretty skeletal at times and I'm sure someone more knowledgeable with Mass Effect lore could do better but w/e
I didn't want to go super overboard with details-if you're a Mass Effect fan you'll be able to imagine the extras and fill in the blanks.
EDIT: So, after getting back into Mass Effect 3, I realized that I'd made a little mistake with my ending here.
That is that 'war assets' are more important then 'galactic readiness' so, consider that as a part of what get's you a respective ending too.

It was near the end of winter for Mark but he was unhappy. He lived in a nice little city that wasn't to big nor was it small. The city had plenty of shops and accommodations for him but the thing about it was... IT SNOWED ALOT! Nearly before winter even started! The beach would be always be closed due to random cold days and snow making him sick of it and sulked a lot. He never truly got to visit the beach as much as he'd like because of it.
"Tch. Winter's over but forecast says more snow man this city sucks. I expected this move to go good but so far I barely get a day at the beach. Not like they open it during the snow." Mark sulked in his room looking out the window at the inches of snow almost nearly melted but would be back in a day or so. "This sucks." He sighed.
Mark tried to be patient for spring time and summer a lot but it was in vain. In his city it could randomly or snow a lot during those times too. So it was a kind of lose, lose situation. For which he grew tired of.
Mobius Rising Chapter 68Rouge sits on her bed with her mouth set in a firm pout. She was not happy with the way things had turned out. She hoped that she could convince Sally and the others to not allow Moonshade into the fortress, but after arguing with them for an hour she had given up. Rouge's reasons for not wanting Moonshade around were purely selfish. She didn't really care that Moonshade posed a danger to everyone in the fortress, she only cared that Moonshade's existance was a personal affront to her. Just the thought of her DNA mingling with that of Shadow's made Rouge's flesh crawl. Now the unholy spawn of their non-existant union was living among them and just the thought of it made Rouge furious.Mobius Rising Chapter 68 in Short Stories More Like This
Rouge wished that Sonic had just killed Moonshade. It was clear from the severity of the burns to Moonshade's clothing that Sonic had the weapon set to kill... but luck had been on Moonshade's side and due to the bag of Chaos Eme
Day of Reckoning'This is ridiculous...I can't believe I'm this flustered' El muttered to herself, squawking around in a mindless desiree trying to gather her wits ends. King settled back on the bed bemused; watching El shuffle around aimlessly tossing layer after layer of clothing in search of the perfect outfit that was subtle yet elegant enough to blend in with the occasion.Day of Reckoning in Stories & Vignettes More Like This
From the day he asked her to accompany him to his family's monthly ritual dinner, she wasn't her usual chirpy, easy going self. El kept suffering from bouts of anxiety and getting unwarrantedly flustered by random witty remarks tossed her way. 'If this is how I am today how will I be on Saturday?' El thought, feeling an uncomfortable swelling stuffing up her throat. With difficulty she swallowed it down, chanting a rather ludicrous calming mantra to no effect. Panic was setting in with still two days to go before the day of reckoning.
She had already met some of his family members, namely his three comical, charismat

See, *partner name*? You can trust me as long as you're my underling. Don't you trust my instincts at all?
You guys caught me on a pretty bad day, so it's only your own fault if you get caught between me while I'm letting off some stress.
Whoo-wee!~ That was fun! Kiryuu-chan sure doesn't disappoint whenever he invites me along to a party!
(vs Sonic) No matter how much the blue boy he changes he can still offer a wild time. That's what I like about you!
(vs Knuckles) Pretty good boxing skills for an ant eating rat. Maybe I should fix up a match between you and Buster Holmes in the River Styx.
(vs Amy) Got any muscle behind that hammer? I was nearly considering this pink girlie for some construction work, but apparently those arms are only good for swinging.
(vs Akira) These hardcore martial artists just aren't as fun anymore. Got no reason to stick around here.
