NOTE: the UN-enlarged view is the ACTUAL SIZE of the original drawing :D:D

This is the FINAL. I've had a lot of people ask me to do some step scans for Blonde hair, and thought this would be a good one.

Katie Herzig is a Singer-Songwriter from Nashville, and is amazingly talented! She is also part of the highly acclaimed group of Singer-Songwriters known as the "Ten out of Tenn" (Tennessee), along with my son, Andrew Belle. Katie is the one who sang on his song "Static Waves"

The ENLARGED VIEW is the EXACT SIZE of the ORIGINAL Drawing

I recently got into the HBO series "Entourage". My fav is Jeremy Piven as "Ari Gold". I loved the shadows and values in the photo!

I met Jeremy Piven's make-up artist on Twitter and she is getting him the image, and maybe the original. How cool is that?!? Imagine if he re-tweets my drawing to his 1.6+MILLION followers lol

My usual shot I take after half the year has passed, to see how many drawings I have completed, and by the looks of things its not alot, lol...
But hey it's quality over quantity :D

The top three are framed which would explain what the shine is ^^

At this stage the previous years.. ^^

2010 - 9 Drawings [link]
2009 - 15 Drawings [link]
2008 - 16 Drawings [link]

I'm still on Target for one per month :D

What a year of drawing for 2011 ^^
I always look forward to taking a shot like this ^^

I didn't draw as many as last year but still feel that I did some good stuff ^^

Overall my plan was to do 12 this year, one per month and I achieved that goal and also 10 of the 12 covered the full A3 sheet of paper, only 2 are in a box ^^

My fave this year is the only one that I drew landscape, I feel that is one of my best EVER ^^

The pic turned out okay, due to the flash of the cam from the poorly lit spare room. The drawings near the front were affected a bit but the ones at the back in the frames were not affected that much ^^

Bye Bye 2010 Bring on 2011 ^^

Thanks for all the nice comments :) Here is a new update and the last one before I'll upload the final picture :)

___________________________

I'm pretty sure almost no one will know this guy although most of you have certainly seen him before ;) This is Thomas Kretschmann, a german actor. Aside from many appearances in television he also was part of many movies, such as 'King Kong' or 'The pianist' (and he was a big bad in '24' :D).

Unfortunately I haven't found a good reference, so I have to make the best out of what I got.

tools: the usual suspects (pencils from B to 8B, eraser pencils, tortillon ...)
time: no idea

Enjoy!

Finally it's finished :) I wanted to upload it last week, but I didn't like how the background turned out and had to change it a bit.

I hope my mother will like it, I promised it to her last year.

tools: B to 8B pencils, tortillon, eraser pencil, eraser, ordinary paper
time: no idea (but certainly too long ... I started it last summer)

UPDATE: So, this is the final version and now you know the third charakter is Kahlen :) I've to say she was the main reason why I've watched the first season.

At first I wanted to call it "Darken Rahl and his women" :D

And I'm truly sorry it took me so long, I really have a guilty conscience because of that. I try to update more often in the future, but I can't promise anything.

****************

UPDATE: So, here is the second charakter, our beloved Darken Rahl :D I had more trouble with him than with Cara, don't know why.

So, who do you think will be the last charakter?

****************

I'm working on my 'Legend of the Seeker' picture again :) So far Cara is finished (although I'm not really satisfied with her ... *sigh*), but there are two more characters I want to draw which will complete this picture. You're free to guess who those characters will be :D

tools: B to 8B pencils, tortillon, eraser pencil, eraser, ordinary paper
time: no idea

Michael Buble. I went to his concert last weekend, it was awesome! besides his great voice (he ended the concert singing a capella with no micro) he's a really funny guy. Totally worth the money I spent. So well, I wanted to draw him for a while but didn't find a picture I liked, and yesterday I came across this one, so I drew him!

Hope you like it.

Michael Buble.

EDIT: Just updating with a better scan now I'm in the know how to use my scanner :D

I think this is probably the first one of many Gerard Butler drawings. How handsome is he though??!!

The title of this is as such, because I am a Paisley Buddie and Mr Butler is also a Paisley buddie. Paisley is the town in Scotland where I live and what I want to know is why have I never seen any men like him around?

I've decided to do a little series of Scottish actors who are quite local to where I stay. Next I think James McAvoy and then Ewan McGregor.

Anyway, I'll stop blabbering now :

Drawing time was around 9-10 hours
Used Mech pencil HB and 2B, 4B and 6B Wooden pencils
Tortillions
Tissue
Blue Tac
Various erasers
Frisket Film (to mask the panels)
Reference pics are from the movies, Law Abiding Citizen and PotO found in random searches.

"When we look out into space, we are looking into our own origins, because we are truly children of the stars. Writen into every atom and every molecule of our bodies is the entire history of the Universe. From The Big Bang to the present day.

Our story is the story of the Universe. Every piece of everyone, of everyone you love, everyone you hate, of the thing you hold most precious, was assembled from the forces of nature in the first few minutes of the life of the Universe. Transformed in the hearts of stars or created in their fiery deaths.

And, when you die those pieces will be returned to the Universe in the endless cycle of death and rebirth.

What a wonderful thing it is to be a part of that Universe! And what a story. What a majestic story!"
